“I'm hearing VERY PROMISING reviews about the quality of the waffles here, yes. I'm being told that the waffle quality is near (or surpassing!) the standards required.“

“Today 10:45 am, I drop by to they’re branch 9516 sepulveda blvd, north hills 91343. I ordered 2 bibingka, 1 pancit malabon, 1 halo halo and a big crispy pata(one size) only, which is quite expensive, but it’s ok I can afford it. After 45 minutes all my orders were ready. I’m excited about the crispy pata but to my surprise it looks like it’s overcooked because it’s a little bit burned. I can tell because I’m a cook and I know if it’s overcooked or not and the result? It taste bitter because it’s burned from the deep fryer. As for me no problem but they insist that that’s the way they cook. OMG I was astonishedbecause how could that be their standard, it has a bitter taste. I believe no human being would like that kind of taste. Quite upsetting. I just told them if they keep on doing that they will lose valuable customers like me. So I’m rating them 1 star for their attitude. Thank you. Hope this will be published…….“

“My brother and I had the most amazing night of superb jazz and food this past Sunday, entertained by Betty Bryant and ensemble. Her fingers moved like liquid gold on the keyboard and her compositions were witty and mesmerizing. The word that kept coming to mind as they performed was "subtle." The music was powerful, but so discrete as to be gentle and gentile. Woodwinds, Bass, and Drums - all played with the kind of delight that makes everyone love the performers as well as the music. As for food, one dish stood out particularly: the creamed spinach with blue cheese. Please tell Chef I would love that recipe! I'm back home in Tennessee now and plan to attempt to copy it, but having the authentic recipe to serve to friends when we entertain would be over the top! “Hands down, one of my favorite restaurants in LA. My husband and I visit here 2-4 times a month. All the locations are beautiful and unique, but our favorite is Sherman Oaks. It's our home local restaurant, and the entire staff knows us and takes great care of us. It was just our 17th anniversary, and the staff made us feel so special. But then again, they always make us feel special, so we just love everything about this place. Our go-to must-haves are the chicken sliders, fries, and the little gem. And to end the meal, we order vanilla lattes, the best cake and ice cream. It's simply the best!“

The burgers are really good, and the fries are crispy, not soggy, so good. Parking is good, and there is inside seating, but none outside. Easy on and off the I-5 in Santa Clarita.“

I also tried the curry chicken 🐔 rice. The portion was a bit small, and the chicken was quite shredded, but the flavor was still pretty good.👍

The restaurant is clean and pleasant🥰. My only complaint is that the air conditioning wasn’t strong enough, especially in the hot🔥 LA weather. Overall, I enjoyed the food and would consider coming back.“

“I had an absolutely wonderful time dining here. The food was consistently fresh and beautifully presented.

Every roll I tried was prepared with such care. I particularly loved the vibrant colors of the sushi, especially the beautiful orange slices of lemon resting right on top of the rolls. Everything tasted just as good as it looked.

“My wife and I are from Sacramento, we cane down to NOHO for Universal Studios. We got here a day early and we always search for Ramen. We cane across this place. The place is small and seating is limited. Let's fast forward to the food. We both got the OG tonkatsu ramen at a mild spice flavor and eggs rolls and spicy edemame. The eggs rolls weren't special, the edemame was really good. Now for the main ramen it was delicious. The broth was thick and flavorful, the meat was cut smaller than what I'm used to and it was definitely a plus. Overall I will definitely come here again when I'm in the city“

“Wonderful experience at JINYA Ramen Bar in Topanga! My daughter and I came for our usual quick lunch and were seated at the ramen bar. Gaby made our visit especially enjoyable — she was so warm, attentive, polite, and professional.

What impressed me most was when I accidentally wrapped my aligners in a napkin and they were thrown away. I asked if they could be found, not really expecting it, but Gaby went above and beyond, found them, and brought them back to me! I was truly so grateful.

“First thing first, the sushi is really fresh. We got the toro, salmon belly, and the yellowtail belly. Saba is a little fishy. The rice is a bit mushy but good enough.

The cooked food is not as great. The agedashi tofu has too much breading and taste average. Kaiju tar tar is okayyy.

The service however took forever, and they never come to check up on us. Servers reach over to get dishes for other tables. Maybe they are short staffed but they should still handle us probably.“

“the size of a 4 top table in a booth being far too cramped for 3 men and a lady, the experience at Black Market was, again, top-notch. Lauren, the manager and many hat wearing server, took exceptional care of our table. Food was fired in the right order. We had courses come out at just the right times and great suggestions from the staff. The Korean bbq wings, the cauliflower, burrata with peaches, and the bolognese were perfectly cooked and delicious. Drinks are also fantastic - I had a classic Negroni. We'll be back .“

“Amazing!!! Worth the wait! Definitely my favorite brunch place now! My friend and I have been brunching our way thru LA haha and this is probably the best brunch spot we have found so far! It gets crowded bc it's so delicious and the coffee art is so much fun! You scan a QR code and upload your pic for your latte :) Such an extensive menu and lots of boozy options if you're looking for a drink. Our server was very attentive and made excellent recommendations too.

I got the Fried Chicken Lemon Velvet Waffle which was SO good - literally tastes like lemon cupcakes yummmmmmm! And the fried chicken was so tender you could cut it with a fork.

There is a parking lot in the back which gives you 90 minutes free with validation and then $2 for each 15 min thereafter. If the lot is full, drive around and you may just luck out and someone is leaving so you can get a spot. Also definite put yourself in the online waitlist before heading there - it will cut down on the wait time.
