“Believe it or not this location is a hidden gem. The lady who works here is so nice and gives you very good service. They have burgers, beerlf, turkey patties, chicken, and impossible burgers. There shakes and buffalo are good too. They even have vegan burgers and vegan milkshakes. The lemonade and watermelon strawberry lemonade are made fresh. The booths themselves could uses a little TLC but everything is kept very clean. They are also right around the corner from Sky Zone if you need to grab a quick bite before or after some bounce time. I also like that they are open late. There is also a kids menu.“

“10/10 restaurant, absolutely recommend. Had the Asian summer rolls, Inari rolls, Love rolls, and Pad Thai w/tofu. The Thai coffee was so good. All was delicious and cooked perfectly. Service was fantastic, big shoutout to Dear, server! Lovely atmosphere.“

“5 stars for the delicious and high quality sushi. plus i have a gluten allergy and the chef/ server was super considerate and knew exactly what needed to be modified. my favorites were the bluefin tuna nigiri and the yellowtail hand roll (with soy paper), and i don’t typically like yellowtail.

however, i did not realize there was a 16% service fee included in the bill. it says so on the menu so that’s my oversight but at kazu nori, for example, the server tells you not to tip because of the service fee. so on the little screen i tipped 20% on top of the 16% service fee and tax. it’s my bad for not paying closer attention but they don’t verbally tell you either.“

“This predominantly vegan restaurant serves a good variety of delicious, fresh and healthy fare. I recommend the lentil loaf, colossal kale salad, flautas, and the orange cauliflower lo mein among others, and I hear the breakfast items (served all day) are excellent. Arlene is a fantastic server. In addition to the mostly vegan items, the eclectic menu also recently added some vegetarian but non-vegan entrees and even fish. This has drawn some unfair criticism. Please keep in mind that times are very difficult now for restaurants, and at least doubly so for vegetarian and vegan restaurants. If the inclusion of a few non-vegan items helps keep this gem of an eatery with a predominantly vegan/vegetarian menu afloat, then all the better for all of us.“

“This cafe and Juice bar STOLE our hearts! A MUST when in San Diego and La Jolla. I mean, WOOOOWWW! We were able to sneak in a quick breakfast before our whale tour at the Little Italy location, and thank goodness we did! My only regret is not visiting every single day for their exceptional breakfast and high-quality juices! I ordered the All I Avo Wanted - Blue corn, waffle, smashed avocado, feta, shaved radish, over easy egg, chili flakes, hemp seeds, salsa macha. I mean, holy moly. The delivery was beautifully executed and built perfectly. The blue corn waffle was moist yet firm. My mother ordered the Shakshuka - another favorite dish of mine that WOWed. You can not go wrong with Parakeet. Thank you to the divine chefs and baristas - you made Parakeet the most beloved restaurant during our time in California!!!“

“My partner and I LOVE Vegan Glory! We have enjoyed everything we've tried on their menu, and the servers know us well by now! (They have a LOT of regulars.) We bring in everyone who visits us from out of town and we like to tell the story about the time we sat one table away from a famous musician. Our favorite menu items include: Vietnamese bun / Papaya Salad / Freshy rolls /Spicy Yakisoba /garlic green beans / pineapple fried rice / Khosoi (yellow curry noodles) / Yellow Curry / Pumpkin-Eggplant tofu / Hong Kong Eggless Noodle in Tom Yum soup with fried Impossible dumplings (that one's not on the menu but you can ask for it). They have several protein options: Soy Chicken /Soy Pepper Stake / Seitan / Soy Fish / Tofu / Soy Shrimp / Soy Chicken Nuggets We often get Thai tea (and sometimes carrot cake to take home). Staff has always been friendly about making any adjustments (sometimes I'm craving a specific vegetable), and if you get Joy as your server, she'll make lots of recommendations.“

“Many options to choose from, love that the food is gluten free, the protein pancakes are amazing and moist, the breakfast sausages are tasty, crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside, and the staff is super friendly. There’s ample parking, the cafe is small and seating is tight but I like the idea of going into a dining establishment that’s quaint and cozy, and I like how the owner puts out games on the table, it makes it feel like you’re at home. My only concern is that the windows are covered with advertisement photos which makes it look like the cafe is closed, it blocks the natural sunlight from coming in, and I personally like to look out the window and now I can barely see what’s happening on the outside. Overall, this place is amazing and the food is good.“

The toppings were delicious! Not only was the food amazing but the ambience of his stand gave it some spooky vibes which I absolutely love !!! The crazy part is, I’m not even vegan, and I would choose these forever snd ever. My friends were also very pleased with their dogs as well. They even bought some to go for later ! I haven't got a chance to explore everything fully, but they're tuna tataki is amazing, so is their baked salmon and their tuna on crispy rice. It's kind of hard to get a seat if you don't make a reservation, and that's the only thing I don't love, but completely understand.“

Her fingers moved like liquid gold on the keyboard and her compositions were witty and mesmerizing. The word that kept coming to mind as they performed was "subtle." The music was powerful, but so discrete as to be gentle and gentile. Woodwinds, Bass, and Drums - all played with the kind of delight that makes everyone love the performers as well as the music. As for food, one dish stood out particularly: the creamed spinach with blue cheese. Please tell Chef I would love that recipe! I'm back home in Tennessee now and plan to attempt to copy it, but having the authentic recipe to serve to friends when we entertain would be over the top! Can't wait to visit my brother in LA again and return to Herb Alpert's Vibrato Grill, Jazz, Etc. Just wow! And Thank You!“
