“Had a wonderful family dinner tonight at Agra Tandoori Indian Restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the space felt so inviting—it’s very clean, well-kept, and has great ambient lighting.

We ordered a feast for the table: Shrimp Biryani, Chicken and Lamb Biryani, Chana Masala, Samosas and regular and Cheese Naan. The food tasted amazing, and the portion sizes were even more generous than we expected!

While the whole staff provided great service, I want to give a special shoutout to Azeem. Her welcoming attitude and willingness to go above and beyond for her customers really stood out.

“Just the best. We walk inside and the aroma from the kitchen assured me that I’d have a great experience. The server Mohamed was happy to answer questions and recommend dishes. We ordered 5 mackerel croquettes as an appetizer. My partner ordered deviled chicken and I ordered shrimp lamprais. And we got the watalappam for dessert. I ordered ginger chai and she got the kurrypinch iced coffee for drinks. Everything was so flavorful and I had to pause to savor the lamprais. Obviously I’ll be back :)“

“Our Friend Vahe took us this week for a Tapas Treat to this gem on Ventura Blvd. They have been serving the valley with excellent Tapas for 20+ years. Any dish you order here will be amazing.
I cannot say that there is a favorite for me here. I usually end up taking too much time deciding on my order, because, I can't make up my mind most of the time. There are however times when I have something in mind already.“

Even thrown together quickly at the last minute, I enjoyed every savory bite of this simple-looking, standard cheese & pepperoni pizza. Yet it was immediately clear to me why several people in my hotel lobby had immediately suggested Marco's when I asked the clerk about good pizza nearby -- whatever the heck prep they do with the ingredients beforehand helped produce a truly outstanding pie, one for which I would gladly drive great distances to experience again. “Good service. Excellent breakfast place with good menu selection. Parking can be a bit of a challenge. There's a small parking lot but it gets full real quick. There's paid street parking with meters but if you go behind the building thru the alley, there's a free parking lot via the alley.“
