“The food was very good. I dined solo and had chicken liver mousse, the yellowtail crudo, the peach and tomato burrata salad, and the crab cake. The mousse was rich and interestingly paired with pickled blackberries and honeycomb. The crudo was delicious with the refreshing citrus. The salad too felt very fresh and like I was holding on to late summer. The crab cake was good, the sauce had a nice balance of spice and sweetness, it was very salty which is not unexpected with crab. The service was kind and attentive. I was very pleased with my experience and would return again if I'm back in Santa Monica.“

“Fantastic sushi for a great price, hence the queue! Luckily the line moves quickly. I would first go to the shelves to grab some rolls, then take a number for the fresh sashimi before jumping in line to pay.

“This is a high-quality seafood market and restaurant in Santa Monica. They also carry a small selection of vegetables, seasonings, and flowers. The variety of fish, clams, other seafood, and deli items is impressive, and everything is always fresh. The deli items, such as calamari salad, Hawaiian ahi poke, and pickled herring, are especially recommended.

The atmosphere is lively, and the staff are very attentive.

I was kinda surprised with my bills and how the restaurant dictate the gratuity %….Overall, I love dining in this restaurant because we were welcome and were given a great and warm reception. “I saw this bar on my home from work one day. The name got my attention. I stopped in looking for a nice spot close to work that I could tell my coworkers about and I found it. Nick was the first person that I spoke to. He was very helpful. I later met Sydney and she was as accommodating as Nick. Very nice staff.

“This is a beautifully decord Indian restaurant, tremendous menu with a warm, youthful family vibe. You will be met with the most fragrant delightful smells emanating from the kitchen as you enter and be surrounded by beautiful seating aggrangments fit for a special or romantic night out. The food, oh my, served authentically in traditional pots is so delicious you will pause to take the flavors all in. We go often, I must always order Saag Paneer, unbelievable, and we try all the various Biryani which are amazing. Last night had Chicken Vindaloo with garlic naan - just melts in your mouth. The staff, it is family owned and everyone is absolutely kind and helpful. A very large menu of Indian traditional meals, very reasonably priced and the food fressness stairs you right in the face. We randomly found this place one night and we have been back at least once or twice per week since. This wonderful restaurant is tucked away in a strip mall off Ventura Blvd with ample parking ( and handicap) right in front. Opened until 10pm, it is a great place for a special meal but is a very casual environment. I've been eating Indian food all my life and this is by far the best you will ever find! And believe me, the family that built this business are very proud of their food.“

“We had a very nice experience here. The restaurant is beautiful, the service was great, and the food was enjoyable. We ordered shrimp for the main course, and it was tasty and well prepared. The drinks were also very good and added to the meal. Everything felt comfortable and welcoming from beginning to end. “I’ve been coming here for years, and I stopped by again recently. Honestly, it’s just as good as I remember from a couple years ago. The burritos are still packed with flavor, the ingredients taste fresh, and the portions are solid. It’s nice to see that the quality hasn’t changed at all. When we got to Santa Monica, we looked up restaurants to go have our 26 year anniversary dinner, we stayed at Hotel Delmar right across the street. We googled the restaurant menu, and decided what we were going to have. when we got there, and they brought out the menus, all what we decided to have was not on there. I was crushed. Because I had my mind set on the Halibut. I said it's ok I will just have the Ribeye, mind you I had a ribeye steak the night before. When the waiter came back, my wife asked if it's possible to get the Halibut and he said let me check with the chef. He came back later and said the chef said it's no problem. I was blown away. That was the best Halibut ( besides mine) that I have ever had. Thank you chef Shawn. From one chef to another, thank you. you made my night.“

“We had a great experience at Ospi Brentwood. From start to finish, everything was on point. The food, the service, and the drinks. We tried several pizzas: the Copione, Pepe-Roni, Hapa, and Funghi. All were delicious, though the Funghi was our least favorite the mushrooms were just a bit overpowering for our taste. The Arugula Salad was incredibly refreshing with the perfect amount of lemon juice. We also had the Spicy Rigatoni with vodka sauce, which was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The cocktails came out quickly, and the food was served just as fast. Everything arrives hot and fresh, so be ready to dig in right away. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and we’ll definitely be back.“

“What an incredible hidden gem! We were craving Italian food and decided to check out Al Italiano. Walked in on a Tuesday night a little before closing. Eddie and the owner Robert greeted us warmly. The menu has some great options and we were indecisive what to order. Our waiter Eddie is a first class professional and answered all our questions with patience and in details. His recommendations were amazing. We ordered Eggplant Parmesan, Veal Piccata, Children’s cheese pizza, Salumiere pizza and their homemade Tiramisu. Everything was excellent and so tasty. The whole experience at Al Italiano was outstanding and unforgettable. Robert is a great business owner who actually cares and treats you like family. His whole staff is very respectful and helpful. The ambiance is very Italian and welcoming. We found a true gem! Thank you Robert, Eddie and staff! We will be back soon!“
