“Amazing!I had the avocado cucumber roll. My husband had the dragon roll (Decorated like an actual dragon! Omg! Art! He wouldn't let me take a pic!) and futomaki roll. The service was polite and informed and quick. No wait for a table on a Saturday night!Delicious. Must try!Wonderful beer and alcohol selection. We had three beers.Loved the music and ambiance. It was quiet and comfortable/cozy after a long day.Thank you for the lovely meal .“
“Food was pretty good and well seasoned. Chick was awesome, brisket was good but maybe a little thin, links were good, pork ribs were maybe on the dryer side then use to but still good. Cornbread was on point, and cold Mac taste a little store bought.“

“My favorite Argentinian restaurant in L.A. with reasonable prices. I always sit at the bar, and the bartender is always very friendly, professional, and attentive. Water glass is always full, and she asks if I want another drink when my glass is low. Very good service here. Highly recommended.“
“Stopped by this location with a friend on Friday night & was seated immediately. This location is seriously a hidden gem as there wasn't much of a crowd. The hand rolls were good portion size and they offered various rolls along with appetizers. The food was amazing. Highly recommend the H.Y.E roll. You can't go wrong.“
“We had a very tall waiter and sat on soft, low benches. The only thing I wished for was a pillow, but that did not decrease the joy of dining. When we were browsing the menu, out giant waiter suggested that we check out the brunch menu as well. This proved to be a wonderful idea. I chose the Breakfast Burrito and my friend selected the Huevos Enchilada with a sunny side up on top. Both of us practically licked our plates with out tongues. I can't recommend Mexicali any better than that.“
“I love this place! Last night our dinner wasn't quite as good as past experiences. Service was very slow and it seemed like we had been forgotten. The appetizers were also very mediocre. Burrata salad lacked flavor and the smoked salmon bruschetta was only okay. They were both served with bread that tasted like very dry toast.“
“LISTEN!!!!!! This food was so good I forgot that I didn't receive my beef patty! Hahah so long story short me and another woman ordered the exact same dish (oxtails?) when I came to pickup my order I just grabbed the 1st bag I saw and didn't even check(so the mistake is on me which is why I'm not faulting them)...but it honestly didn't even matter the food was good, and then when I had the leftovers it was even more fire!!!?? I usually make my own oxtail and curry and stew chicken, but with the price of groceries and labor I started just going out because it ends up being cheaper and my kitchen stays clean! Anyway definitely recommend you stop by, especially earlier in the day!“
“My friends took me to Leona's sushi house earlier this week. It was last minute, for my birthday and we were able to get a table without a reservation! The decor and the mood was great. Lighting was sexy. I don't even mind that I had to use my cellphone light to see the menu. ?. Drinks were great! Everything was delicious. Especially Loved the Black Cod and the spicy edamame. Our server, I think her name was Tanya or Tania was exceptional, very attentive and gave great recommendations. Would definitely visit again to try more items on the menu.“
