“I’m writing this to show my full support for the restaurant and its staff. I read about the recent incident involving a blogger who ordered an expensive bottle of wine, complained it was too cold, and then refused to pay after the bottle was opened.

In Florida, as in most states, an opened bottle of wine cannot be returned or refunded simply because the customer doesn’t like the temperature. The manager acted correctly and professionally by following the law and calling the police when the guest refused to pay.

What is absolutely unacceptable is using social media influence to incite followers to leave negative reviews based on only one side of the story. This is not a review - it’s bullying. The staff here work hard every day to provide great service, and they don’t deserve to have their reputation damaged by someone who thought she could get a free bottle by making a scene.

“My third time here. The flaming branzino was excellent. Split a bunch of appetizers. Ceviche, hummus, and oysters were all excellent. Music is loud but adds to the atmosphere. The drinks are always A+. Fun place but definitely need reservations for a group.“
