“We celebrated our anniversary there on a Saturday night and had the best time! The food was incredible, service was great and atmosphere was fun. The sushi was so fresh and delicious. The design of the restaurant is gorgeous. It is a great spot to celebrate something special. We will be back!“

“I had a great time here. It’s like a hidden gem because there’s so many great restaurants in LA. Food was amazing but what took the experience over the top was the server, Sofi. They need to give her a raise. 5 star service and really helped us through the dining experience. We will def be back and request her. Highly recc!!“

“Unexpected find in a quiet little plaza in West Hollywood—easily the best unagi don I’ve had in SoCal. Two styles, both incredible, but the hitsumabushi stole the show. Could’ve eaten three more bowls without hesitation. 😋“

“First time visiting Katana LA, and it definitely won’t be my last! Fitz and his team were absolutely amazing. Everyone was attentive, welcoming, knowledgeable, and patient, especially when we had questions about the menu and needed recommendations.
The food was outstanding, easily an 11/10! The drinks were impeccable, and the desserts were incredible. The entire experience exceeded my expectations and honestly surpassed some restaurants that consider themselves to be at the same level of fine dining.
From the food and atmosphere to the exceptional hospitality, everything was on point. Huge thanks to Fitz and the entire team for making our first visit so memorable. Looking forward to coming back!“

“Chefs kiss! My husband and I love quality places. It’s pricey but worth it. The fish is so fresh and the chefs are very talented. Honestly better than some Michelin places I’ve been to. This is better than your average sushi but accessible. The atmosphere and vibes are also very cool. Intimate, chic, and relaxed space. Grab a seat at the sushi bar if you can!“

“The 5* is solely for the service received by Dylan, cannot fault his professionalism and customer service! He was amazing and deserves a raise and recognition. He was attentive, friendly and even went above and beyond to help my partner and I pay for our parking as we had no cash and were unable to withdraw any. He helped us out of his own pocket, and also provided excellent service during our meal. Strongly recommend!!“

“Such a great find! I’ve driven past almost daily for years and years and finally made it it in tonight for dinner. All the fish was very fresh and delicious. Chefs were wonderful, friendly and super talented. It’s my new sushi go to. Favorites tonight were the Albacore Paradise Roll and the baked snow crab hand roll. Chef’s Special Halibut Sushi was divine.“
