“Hands down my favorite place to splurge for dinner. Sitting at the bar for piece-by-piece omakase is always such a great experience. They buy what’s best from the market for that evenings service so I’ve seen them run out of stuff, but that means everything you’re eating is incredibly fresh. Adventurous eaters will be rewarded with the best seasonal delicacies. I’ve sat and eaten for 2 hours and not been served the same thing twice, unless I requested it. Easily some of the best sushi & sashimi outside of Japan.“

“An exceptional handroll experience from start to finish. Seaweed Handroll Bar delivers a perfect balance of freshness, precision, and creativity in every bite. The seaweed is crisp and vibrant, the rice is perfectly seasoned, and the fish tastes incredibly clean and high-quality“
“I got the most simple 3 hand roll set. It was good, not exceptional but I enjoyed them. The green tea I ordered was closer to matcha in water than brewed tea which I think is strange, and I also ordered a “Mochi” from the menu which ended up being an ice cream mochi. It was not labeled as being ice cream, which is common in sushi places in the US, but it was not labeled as such, so I thought it was just mochi. I still ate it because it was a reasonable price and it was good. The people working there were exceptional, especially the sushi chef working closest to me was very personable and kind.“
“This restaurant is absolutely incredible! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, inviting, and full of great energy. The vibes are unmatched—perfect for a night out with friends, a date, or even just to treat yourself.
The food? Out of this world. Every dish is bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. The ambience ties it all together—stylish yet cozy, making you want to stay a little longer.
The service was just as impressive—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell the team takes pride in creating a memorable experience.
If you’re looking for a spot with amazing food, amazing vibes, and an unforgettable atmosphere, this is it. Highly recommend—you’ll want to come back again and again!“

“This is THE best restaurant let alone sushi restaurant in Montrose. The customer service is amazing, so well organized, and will make anything possible for you.
I've been here over a dozen times over the last 7 years because it's my Dad's favorite spot but I've been going more consistent this past year with my husband.
The fish is consistently fresh and flavorful. The rolls are made to NEVER fall apart and even their tempura rolls seem healthier than other restaurants.
We threw my Dad a 70th birthday dinner here with a total of 9 guests and the server Ken was 5 stars. He was always around if we needed anything while not being too over our shoulders. They held a cake for us also and had it ready for us after our food was finished.
I love this place so much and would recommend it to anyone who wants the best sushi in town!!!“

“Pokitonmik in Glendale is a fun spot if you’re craving fresh, customizable poke bowls. The ingredients are fresh, the fish tastes great, and the portions are generous for the price. I loved being able to choose from so many toppings and sauces to make the bowl exactly how I wanted. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the ordering process was quick even during a busy lunch rush. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, making it a great place to grab a healthy meal on the go or sit down and enjoy.“

“Legitimately one of my favorite restaurants I've ever tried. I'm not even joking there's FRESH WASABI. The fish is so fresh. I got the chirashi don and I am so happy. Very much worth the stop. If I am ever in the area, I will be coming back, and perhaps will be making trips out to this place specifically. Wonderful service“

“Heard about this place on theskedge.com and it was good timing, because I was really in the mood for poke. It was pretty delicious. I had some salmon & tuna, with seaweed salad, etc. Not expensive at all either so I definitely recommend.“

“An unforgettable omakase experience at Sushi Noz! The intimate setting, expertly crafted nigiri featuring melt-in-your-mouth bluefin tuna, and impeccable service make it a top contender for the best sushi in NYC. The high price point is justified by the exceptional quality and artistry.“

“I heard about this place from theskedge.com so I decided to check it out! I judge sushi place by its Spicy Tuna roll because it is simple to make and one of my favorites. No, like I order it everywhere I go. This restaurant had one of my favorite spicy tunas in LA. Fantastic job. Other rolls were great as well :)“

“First time coming here and I really enjoyed it. Came here with a friend and was not disappointed. We got the Honeymoon Roll and Salmon Lover Roll and they were both really tasy and flavorful. My favorite was the Honeymoon Roll because the shrimp, avocado, cucumber, crabmeat and salmon all complement each other very well. We also got a Coke Zero. For 2 people it was around $60 which isn't too bad considering the quality and flavor. I would definitely come here again.“

“Seabutter, in the heart of Glendale lies this sushi restaurant that is a masterpiece. It is right next to Americana, sadly it has horrible parking but near places like Shake Shack, bourbon steak, In-n-Out, Capital One cafe, BJ’s brewhouse, and I’m quite sure a Starbucks as well Joe & The Juice literally next door.
Every sushi is fresh and tastes delicious, the atmosphere is like you’re a Roman patrician arriving at his Villa where his luxurious life is. It doesn’t look so fancy, but it feels comfy. There’s no trash nor dirt on the floor just clean and has a nice modern look.
The service here is very quick, the wait time is non-existent and the staff are very kind-hearted and quick with orders. When we come here, we are usually give On the house meals which is nice. There’s also a bar area and you can watch them make your sushi!
The food here is the spotlight in the show, it is the best sushi I have ate in my whole entire lifetime as well my whole bloodline. The sushi here is fresh delicious and it’s nice. I showed pictures of non-sushi items like Chicken Teriyaki, and Garlic Edamani, but most of the pictures are just sushi.
In the end, after coming here 50+ times I can agree this is the best sushi place I will ever touch on earth. If there was sushi in heaven, Seabutter will be there.
They also have another restaurant place called The Bar which I will review one day. But other from that, this place is a must-go and is very underrated and overlooked.
PS: before you go here, the parking is absolute garbage due to Americano and other popular places!
Peace✌️“
