Despite so many herbs in it, it doesn't feel too herb'y and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it tasted with such simple ingredients. The tea was icing on the cake.”

“Restaurant sits on Glendale Blvd at one end of a long strip mall with plenty of parking. I ordered a chicken kabob plate with 2 sides, tabouleh and hummus. Both the flavor and presentation were outstanding. Chicken kabob had so much flavor and was fresh and juicy. The tabouleh was delicious and had a great texture. The fragrance of fresh parsley in the tabouleh permeated the dish and enhanced my dining experience. The hummus is home made. Comes with lavash bread. I would definitely be back.

“Glendale Tap is a real gem. We just wondered around and fell in love, period. Their selection of craft beers makes it awesome, with every taste bud in mind. The interior decoration is modern, industrial, and perfectly chill. There's a small patio out front and a game room, really giving that relaxed vibe. Although there's no full food menu, you can have local vendors bites or serve up your own snacks. I really am going to wait for nothing to visit again and try more brews!”

“Each pizza was cut into six slices, came out hot and crispy! My friends noted that the undercarriage of the cheese pizza was a little disappointing because it was floppy from the tip to the middle of the pizza, but they said maybe it was just an off day because it still tasted fine. My partner and I got the Mikey rabbit and the undercarriage was totally fine with no flop!

I personally am not a thin crust person, but the flavors are great. Solid stop to make before heading to the movies or if you just like outdoor dining. Pizza on average is about 20 to 22 dollars, and a couple could for sure finish one pizza be full! The service was great though, and they were so lively and attentive. Would come back again!”

It was the right choice! This place was excellent, the ingredients appeared and tasted very fresh! My family and I have followed Chef & Owner Kei since it first started and only had regular priority mail delivery and pickup from a co-op location in Downtown LA. I stopped by after the Montrose Farmers Market, where Sugarbird was before and I believe still is for other Farmers Markets, and Kei herself was managing the store. She was nice and really excited to finally have her own storefront. I got a free tea, free clotted cream, the tea sandwich set, six scones (ube, lemon blueberry, matcha, fig & rosemary, passionfruit & earl grey) and shortbread cookies.”

“I am not one to provide reviews but I am a pesto lover, and it is one dish that is usually made in a variety of ways that are so-so. Well I finally found a place that makes a superbly "real" pesto!!!!! The inclusion of mint was a delicious addition. A true Italian dish does not require bread, and salads are usually eaten after the main meal. The portions were perfect and filling and the broccolini and pasta were all dented. I will try the brunch next, but I highly recommend this place. Karina and Francisco were great.”

“Very delicious breakfast burger and French toast sticks. Momma and I had the breakfast burger and I had tomato and onion on mine. Fresh, quick, hot and delicious. The food was brought out to our table by the very courteous Jesue, who also was at the front counter. There is plenty of safe and well lit parking and lots of ADA parking and inside seatings too.

“This is a great place that has been around forever, they serve tacos and burgers and more!....the best "munchies" spot. They are also open till fairly late. I alternate between the American style and the Mexican style food, both really good. They serve a double bacon cheese burger for 7$, and the small fries youbcan barely finish! Definitely worth stopping by if you are in Glendale. They also have an ATM within the establishment.

“Hey, so unfortunately many restaurants have to find out the hard way, but when you think you're "compensating" for slow business by raising prices, well, it doesn't take a genius to realize what eventually happens. Eventually, nobody comes to eat at your restaurant anymore. What are you going to do? Keep raising prices to try to compensate for lack of business until you end up with a $40 chicken sandwich? Every single time you raise prices, you're losing customers. Even the $0.75 hikes you think nobody notices, youre losing customers.”

“My husband and I were strolling by and walked in to see if they had gluten free or celiac friendly options. About half of the sushi menu was safe! The place was pretty full, but the waitress still took her time to go over the menu and narrow down the allergens for me by marking it, a beautiful gesture. Sushi chefs innovative with their GLUTEN FREE options is rare for me. They thought of everything including gluten free TEMPURA and their tamari PONZU!!!!!
The dishes were some of the best I have encountered, and we have ventured around the world, including Japan. Omakase isn't a menu option, but the waitress asked a few questions like how adventurous and hungry we were, then took over ordering for us.

Food summarized in one word: SENSATIONAL. Tasted like the seafood was straight out of the sea! It's hard to pick favorites, but the red snapper specialty, halibut specialty, and ceviche will slap your taste buds in a way you never knew was possible. Demon Slayer Sake was the right amount of dry and the bottle made us laugh. Great time.

I encourage UMI to promote the gluten free aspect on their menu, or at least on their website… it's LA, people would love to know!

We placed a takeout order over the phone for a large group, and the person in charge attentively listened to our order, accommodating the changes we suggested. “Choose this based off reviews in the area and it did not disappoint. Was a quaint little vibe and even though I didn't stay long enough to eat, everything looked tasty and delicious. I love that they served my latte in a cup for here, it really adds more of a familiar ambience. My one complaint however no wifi, usually this is not a huge deal, however they had the space for me to easily work on a computer so a little bit of bummer, since most shops with the space will have some type of wifi network. Innerstandable and definetly not a deterrent in the larger framework. The latte I ordered was well made, and for almond mylk had quite a bit of foam which isn't always easy depending on the brand. This was a nice stop in a very long road trip; and will save to my maps places, to return next time in the area.

“I live in the central valley, but whenever I come down to Anaheim see my.mom and my sister, I stop by here. I love, love, love their karekare, macaroni salad and buko pandan. Those are only the few reasons why I go there instead of the others that are close by the freeway.
