I started with crispy samosas, followed by the rich chicken tikka masala, paired perfectly with freshly baked naan. The service was attentive and friendly. For dessert, the mango lassi and gulab jamun were delightful. Overall, Cardamom offers a wonderful dining experience with delicious food. Highly recommend!“

“Went to this place randomly for a late lunch, place was completely empty when we went there. I was curious cause I’ve never had Uzbek food before. It prolly is a family run business, the gentleman who took our order seemed like the one who was preparing the food as well. I like this kind of mom and pop places.

We ordered a beef noodle bowl and a lamb kabab kinda platter: the bowl was really tasty after adding a little bit of lemon juice, before that it felt like sth was missing. The lamb was so damn good ! And after the meal we ordered some “milk tea” that wasn’t on the menu and we were skeptical at first glance but were pleasantly surprised after taking the first sip. It was really refreshing :)“

I understand in Brazil country music is very popular but that is discounting that there really isn’t an established market for country music in Brazil (or at the very least not as established as here in the U.S.) while I can appreciate the cultural difference in playing only country music I think some contextual awareness would go a long way. If I’m coming to a BRAZILIAN steakhouse at the Beverly Center, some Brazilian music is would be far more appreciated than Country music. Not to dismiss the cultural significance this music may have in Brazil, but if I want to hear Country music I can find that easily. I think the bar/restaurant would really benefit from playing music that immerses LA natives (who often have little exposure to Brazilian music) in the music of Brazil than any benefit that can be derived from a Brazilian Restaurant playing Country music.“

“I had such a great experience at Shawarma BBQ Express! From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely attentive. The service was quick, but you can tell they don’t rush the quality of the food.

The shawarma was absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned, juicy, and packed with flavor. The meats were tender, the portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh. The sides were incredible and really took the meal to the next level.

What I loved most is the consistency—you can tell they take pride in what they serve. The place was clean, organized, and had a great atmosphere overall.

Definitely one of the best spots for shawarma and BBQ. I’ll be coming back again and again!

“Fantastic! I randomly found this place while craving Lebanese food. While it’s not exactly that, I was intrigued by their “where Mexican meets Mediterranean” concept and stopped in. They told me their Mediterranean side is inspired by Lebanese and Syrian cuisine, and I was sold.

I got the chicken shawarma plate. The chicken was cooked perfectly, the rice was great, and I went with the baba ghanoush after they recommended it. It was so good. If you’ve never loved baba ghanoush because the eggplant is overpowering, their version is perfect for you since all the flavors are balanced nicely. The Mexican influence complements it beautifully.

The young woman who took my order told me her mother is the chef, and she made my meal. I’m officially one of her biggest fans and can’t wait to come back and try more. Delicious!

Please support this small, actuallyyy family-owned business. I’d be genuinely devastated if they ever closed. It may not have been the traditional Lebanese meal I originally came for, but bringing Mexican flavors into the mix is a brilliant idea and I’m for it. Yum!“

“I had a delightful Iranian breakfast at Cafe de Alley in Los Angeles. The owner is a very friendly gentleman who made my experience truly special. The food was excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my visit. I highly recommend this cafe and will definitely be returning!“

“This is honestly the best brisket sandwich and burger I have ever had IN MY LIFE!!! And I have had a lot of both! The brisket has more of a pulled pork consistency and it is unreal with that in house slaw and potato bun. Smash style burgers are also my top fave kind of burger and they do it exactly how I would dream of it being done. They are also not your usual slider size. These are the size of a kids meal burger (so to me- that’s normal sized). Not some giant sand which but the perfect size. I would normally be content with just one of these sandwiches but I did the combo so one brisket and one burger and I could not stop eating either one even after the meat sweats set in! I got the fries with no cheese and they were great. So happy to have found this place! Speaking of place: there are no signs. “I'm at a loss for words, but I'll try my best. Food? Amazing! Perfect amount of seasoning and the portions are huge! And this is coming from a big dude. For the appetizers, my favorites were the Kashk E'bademjan (Eggplant Delight), Potato Salad, and the Hummus! They have more selections, but this is what I was able to try. I hear all are great! For the Entrees, ALL OF THEIR KABOBS ARE FIRE (MMM MMMM YUMMY). I had a sample of most them and in the islands, we would say "broke da mouf kine", which translates to, the food is *beep beep* GOOD! If you've never had Persian Food, or you love it, this is the restaurant for you! Drinks? I love Korean Soju and Cass beer, so yeah, +10 points from me. They do carry various Wines and Beers though...and of course your choice of Soda Pop. Atmosphere? It' gives you a Kewl Kids Vibe; a classy place where you can be yourself with family and friends and just enjoy each others company. You have your choice of Indoor and Outdoor dinning which is amazing. There's also a private room upstairs that can hold 20 people for a meal and karaoke (there is a fee to reserve, but very much worth it). Staff? We were greeted at the door as if we were coming home. Pasha and his staff go above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met. Their suggestions on meal and drink pairings are spot on. I can't thank Pasha and the crew for making our group outing a success. Overall? I'll be going back and I hope that you add this restaurant to your list of 'go to' places to dine at. “The place has authentic Indonesian taste on their food. Expect self-service and to-go, but the place has a good seatings lay-out if you want to eat there, and you’ll be satisfied with the food.
