“Came here for dinner and left feeling like I'd just eaten at home. The Aloo Tikki was crispy and perfectly spiced, the Chana Chalupa was a fun twist, and the Noormahal Lasagna was something I haven't seen anywhere else. The Veggie Fun came out at exactly the spice level I asked for, and they were happy to swap in garlic naan. Everything was well cooked and the flavors felt genuinely authentic, which is hard to find in LA.
The service really stood out too. The staff was warm, attentive and super sweet the whole night. You can tell they care about their guests. Highly recommend Roots Indian Bistro, and I'll definitely be back.“

“I walked by IndiMex and happy I walked in! The food is mind-blowing good! I ordered chicken tandoori with their special sauce on the side. They normally use for the special sauce for their Chicken Masala. The secret sauce is like nothing Ive tried before. It's sweet with hints of savory, ten stars!“

“Went to this place randomly for a late lunch, place was completely empty when we went there. I was curious cause I’ve never had Uzbek food before. It prolly is a family run business, the gentleman who took our order seemed like the one who was preparing the food as well. I like this kind of mom and pop places.

We ordered a beef noodle bowl and a lamb kabab kinda platter: the bowl was really tasty after adding a little bit of lemon juice, before that it felt like sth was missing. The lamb was so damn good ! And after the meal we ordered some “milk tea” that wasn’t on the menu and we were skeptical at first glance but were pleasantly surprised after taking the first sip. It was really refreshing :)“

“Excellent service by Freddie as soon as we walked in- menu is extensive and creative and HALAL. Chili isn’t halal but clearly and respectfully stated- no fear of contamination as it’s stored securely and separated.
Chicken and waffles was amazing- dogs were pretty good- turkey bacon was weak I’d recommend deen brand halal beef bacon as it’s MUCH better especially for hot dogs. Overall would return.“

“I loved every moment of my experience here! The customer service was genuinely amazing
everyone was so caring, kind, and welcoming. I accidentally spilled my drink on the waiter, and his reaction was so understanding and respectful. Instead of being upset, he kindly went and got me a replacement drink with such a positive attitude.
We’ve been visiting California for a week, and this was by far one of the best things we’ve tasted! The food has that homemade taste that reminds me of home and brings so much comfort. I will definitely be coming back again, and I highly recommend everyone else gives this place a try too!“

“I am a fool for not trying out Chef Arango sooner. I live very close, 10 mins or less away. I also moved to the area 4 years ago and only now am I coming here. After this visit I will easily be back and I will be back often.

Chef Arango is comfort food at its finest. The prices are phenomenal, the quantity is bountiful, the food is made fresh with it still being piping hot, and the food is simply yummy. This restaurant and team is like being cooked for by your family. I really don’t know how else to describe this restaurant and team and food. It’s like sitting down for a meal at your mum’s, or auntie’s or ammachi’s (Indian word for “grandma”) home. Simply a delicious, warming, and hearty meal!

I just can’t get over the fact that I paid $22.50 after tax (2026 prices) and got a very filling meal that was amazing tasting, freshly made, and came with loads of meat. I regret not coming sooner even though I’ve passed by hundreds of time. I will try to atone for my sins by coming back as frequently as possible!“

“I'm at a loss for words, but I'll try my best. Food? Amazing! Perfect amount of seasoning and the portions are huge! And this is coming from a big dude. For the appetizers, my favorites were the Kashk E'bademjan (Eggplant Delight), Potato Salad, and the Hummus! They have more selections, but this is what I was able to try. I hear all are great! For the Entrees, ALL OF THEIR KABOBS ARE FIRE (MMM MMMM YUMMY). I had a sample of most them and in the islands, we would say "broke da mouf kine", which translates to, the food is *beep beep* GOOD! If you've never had Persian Food, or you love it, this is the restaurant for you! Drinks? I love Korean Soju and Cass beer, so yeah, +10 points from me. They do carry various Wines and Beers though...and of course your choice of Soda Pop. Atmosphere? It' gives you a Kewl Kids Vibe; a classy place where you can be yourself with family and friends and just enjoy each others company. You have your choice of Indoor and Outdoor dinning which is amazing. There's also a private room upstairs that can hold 20 people for a meal and karaoke (there is a fee to reserve, but very much worth it). Staff? We were greeted at the door as if we were coming home. Pasha and his staff go above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met. Their suggestions on meal and drink pairings are spot on. I can't thank Pasha and the crew for making our group outing a success. Overall? I'll be going back and I hope that you add this restaurant to your list of 'go to' places to dine at. You will not be disappointed, I promise you. (Unless your attitude stinks or you're not willing to try new food ‍) Pasha again, thank you so much for the hospitality. “We've been coming to Baja California Tacos for years. The shrimp and fish tacos never disappoint and they are at an extremely affordable price. The ceviche is always fresh and there are many options to choose from. They have parking in the back which is always a plus in LA.“
