“I contacted Misah regarding catering for my birthday party for 30 people. From the very start, Misah and his staff were polite, professional, and friendly. My wife took me to the restaurant for lunch to sample the food a couple of days before the party. Misah was very nice in person as well. The food was freshly prepared and very delicious. All the sides were good as well; the lentil soup, cucumber yogurt, and hummus. He offered us free desserts to sample. Their homemade baklava is so good. When they prepare your catering order, they cook the kabob close to your pickup time so that it is hot and fresh when you get home. They use very good quality containers for transporting the food. Our party guests loved the food so much that we barely had any leftovers for the next day. We will definitely eat at Chelo in the future. It is a small hidden gem in Van Nuys.“

“I'm so sad that this place is so far because this place is so good! My husband and I ordered the Saucy Butter Chicken Wings, Paneer Masala Fries, Kahmiri Alla Pasta, Spiced Lamb, and Curry Fun (Chana Masala and Chicken Tikka Masala). Our favorites were the wings, fries, and pasta! Must orders. We also had the Mango Lassi and the Pink Punjabi. We both preferred the Mango Lassi. The Pink Punjabi tasted like milky sprite with a hint of rose. For dessert, we finished with the Rose Doughnuts because the Halwa Ice Cream Sandwich wasn't ready. I think I would've preferred the ice cream sandwich because the doughnuts were way too sweet for me. It is a little pricey than what I'm used to - since I live closer to Little India in Artesia. But it's the pricing for the area its in to be honest. Love that this spot is halal and vegan/gluten-free friendly. There's a public parking lot that didn't have an attendant, but had signs to still pay the amount of $10 in a box. We didn't want to risk it, so we parked in the neighborhood and walked. Our service was fantastic with Rajat. The place was clean and vibrant. Everything came out hot, ready, and pretty!“

“I'm just going to start off with if you don't eat pizza go anyway just for the atmosphere. Today I had the pleasure of dining at 786° pizza. The food was simply outstanding. The crust was perfectly crispy. The cheese was gooey and flavorful and the toppings were fresh and delicious but what really set the pizza place apart was the incredible hospitality of the people who worked there chef Mari chef Chris and chef Lesli. from the moment we walked in we were greeted with warm, smiles and friendly conversation. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and that our dining experience was exceptional. I cannot say enough good things about this pizza place. The food was exceptional. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff are some of the most hospitable people I've ever encountered. chef Mari chef Chris and Leslie made our experience one of a kind. “I planned on eating Ralphs sushi and stumbled upon the truck to give it a try. Ended up eating here two days in a row. What a gem! Very generous portions. Fresh food and amazing taste! We kept getting the same kind of meat and the high end stuff doesn't make it to your table until you ask for it more than once. We didn't get lamb chops till the end while we were almost full, while kept getting sirloin like 5-6 times! Aside from that the grilled pineapple is amazing.“

“I'm at a loss for words, but I'll try my best. Food? Amazing! Perfect amount of seasoning and the portions are huge! And this is coming from a big dude. For the appetizers, my favorites were the Kashk E'bademjan (Eggplant Delight), Potato Salad, and the Hummus! They have more selections, but this is what I was able to try. I hear all are great! For the Entrees, ALL OF THEIR KABOBS ARE FIRE (MMM MMMM YUMMY). I had a sample of most them and in the islands, we would say "broke da mouf kine", which translates to, the food is *beep beep* GOOD! If you've never had Persian Food, or you love it, this is the restaurant for you! Drinks? I love Korean Soju and Cass beer, so yeah, +10 points from me. They do carry various Wines and Beers though...and of course your choice of Soda Pop. Atmosphere? It' gives you a Kewl Kids Vibe; a classy place where you can be yourself with family and friends and just enjoy each others company. You have your choice of Indoor and Outdoor dinning which is amazing. There's also a private room upstairs that can hold 20 people for a meal and karaoke (there is a fee to reserve, but very much worth it). Staff? We were greeted at the door as if we were coming home. Pasha and his staff go above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met. Their suggestions on meal and drink pairings are spot on. I can't thank Pasha and the crew for making our group outing a success. Overall? I'll be going back and I hope that you add this restaurant to your list of 'go to' places to dine at. “Crown of India has excellent and delicious food, and the serving staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend eating here. They are very accepting of LGBT community. May I suggest their garlic/cheese naan. I don't know of any other Indian restaurant that makes this form of naan. I take all my friends there for a wonderful meal.“

“Wow. I liked Indimex before they changed management, now I love it! I wrote a review 7 years ago with a follow up 6 years ago pre covid. Remember when? During Covid and even more recently, I would order and have it delivered. But tonight I saw they were open and there was parking space right in front so I went in person. Wonderfully warm new owner, quaint dining room albeit small but remodeled and the new owner has plans for more. - feels more authentically Indian with a Mexican twist. Indian movie posters and music, colorful walls and tables. Their Chicken Tikka Masala sauce is the real deal as is the raita. Delicious. The chicken tikka masala quesadillas are reasonable and filling. I'm so glad they survived Covid and with this new management I'm excited to see what comes next. “If only this place had consistency with their dishes, they'd have 5 stars from me. I get the chicken korma (I order spicy). Sometimes it's hardly spicy at all and sometimes it's so spicy it's almost inedible. Sometimes the color of the dish is pale and tastes bland, other times it's a deep red-orange full of flavor. Sometimes the consistency is watery and other times thick. I never know if I'll be disappointed or not until I get my order. I've never dined inside, but I have picked up my order and it seems like a nice place to have dinner. Looks clean, low lighting, and the service has always been very friendly.“

“We love this place! Our family has been eating at, and enjoying, Moun of Tunis for many years. Ben, an amiable Tunisian, is still the owner and Paul, a very friendly and accommodating fellow, is still the principal server. Everything was delicious, certainly some of the best Indian food I've had close to mid city. Very much appreciate that they serve goat and have dishes on the menu that are outside the standard Indian menu you see at most places in the area. Looking forward to going in person and trying their balti dishes as well as the paya. "Very very spicy" here seems to mean mildly spicy, so if you're a chili head like me best to let them know you mean business. The cilantro mint chutney was probably the best I've ever had-so fresh. They quickly took my order for takeout and was told it would be about 20 mins. Food was ready by the time I came back and it smelled amazing. I got the mixed lule kebab plate and it had a beef and chicken lule over rice. Sides of salad, hummus, , pita bread, and veggies (separate in a bag). Flavor was on point, however the lule was slightly on the drier side but not terrible. For the price, it hit the spot. It was a huge portion and I ended up having a small portion of leftovers the next day. Not sure how it compares to other Mediterranean restaurants in the area, but it wasn't bad.“

“My go-to for takeout, but there is an inviting dine-in area with enough space for a few tables. The customer service is consistently swift; my phone orders are ready upon my arrival. The pricing is appropriate, offering generous portions. My usual half-and-half combo (chicken and beef) includes rice, hummus, pita bread, and a refreshing salad. Although I tend to forget to swap the salad for fries, another diner had them on their plate and they looked so yummy. Every element is expertly seasoned, resulting in consistency.“

It took 40 minutes to receive the food after ordering. Everyone else was receiving their food after a reasonable wait time except me and the couple that ordered right after us. I had to ask at the 30 min mark and then finally received it at 40 min. We ordered to eat in but received it all in a take out bag. We ordered a #1 (received a #1 but charged a #2 on the receipt) a #3 ( but only received 1 slider, tender was missing) and a #4 (but received and extra slider). We made it work since we got the total # of chickens that we asked for and could not wait any longer for them to correct it. The dining room is a mess! We were there for well over an hour and not once did anyone come out to wipe down tables as diners were leaving. Everyone that came in had to sit at a dirty table if they wanted to dine in. An employee, in uniform, was eating at the far back right corner table during dinner rush ( Friday night 5:30). When the employee finished they also did not wipe down the table and left it dirty for the next diner. The overall service is unimpressive for a location that just recently opened (Cicero, NY). We will go back because the food was fabulous but we will not be dining in and will definitely check our order before leaving.“

I am somewhat of a middle-eastern food snob as I have been eating and making it for over 50 of my 60 years and this is so very good I would be proud to say I had made it myself. A lot of “middle-eastern” places serve food that is more “inspired by” then the actual thing, and after you add in a bored line cook the recipes become very blah.Not so here, all the items are spiced subtly but correctly, even the saffron rice which almost always tastes like rice with yellow food coloring at most places.The spicing on everything was done to perfection- subtle but prominent and easily distinguished from each other.Rare that I give a five star, especially when I order it from a delivery service but these people have hit it out of the park. Lady at the register is not very personable and looks very unhappy to be working there, lol, but that is the only negative thing I have to say.
