“I had this placed saved on Instagram and decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint! We got the chicken kebab plate with extra pita bread. It was so delicious 😋 EVERY bite produced a happy dance. Customer service was great. The girl at the counter was very patient with us. There’s outside seating where we chose to sit and free parking on the side streets. I would’ve given them five stars but the fries were lukewarm. They were seasoned and crispy but warm. I will definitely be back and I can’t wait to eat my leftovers tomorrow.“

“I had such a great experience at Shawarma BBQ Express! From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely attentive. The service was quick, but you can tell they don’t rush the quality of the food.

The shawarma was absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned, juicy, and packed with flavor. The meats were tender, the portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh. The sides were incredible and really took the meal to the next level.

What I loved most is the consistency—you can tell they take pride in what they serve. The place was clean, organized, and had a great atmosphere overall.

“I was first introduced to Nashville-style hot chicken at Hattie B's in Nashville. Although I've never found anything quite like it here in Los Angeles (Hattie B's chicken serves bone-in whole pieces, marinated through), I'm addicted to Dave's, and love the Extra Hot! (I'll stay away from Reaper...I don't need to try something that requires a signed waiver!)

My go-to is the #4, and their fries are great too. The extra pickles they include are a really nice touch, and the sauce is a the perfect alternate to ketchup, and really goes with the chicken.

The staff is always friendly and helpful, and I can order at the counter, at a touch-screen kiosk, or on my app. The app has kind of become the easiest option for me now that I've gotten the hang of reordering my usual. I try to limit my fried, fast-food meals, but Dave's is usually my first thought when I'm in the mood to indulge in that kind of treat. If you like spice, it's a must-try!“

“I got the ground chicken skewers for dinner. The food was good. The price is great for the amount of food you get. I got 2 skewers, rice, a salad, hummus, pita bread, & a sauce for the salad. The sauce that comes with the salad is especially good. The service we experienced was also good. We ordered online and the food was served in a timely manner. Overall, this is a good Mediterranean restaurant for a nice, casual meal.“

“The food is hands down the best here, this spot has been my personal favourite. The Vijaywada chicken biriyani is our guilty pleasure. We have tried the malabar paratha with the abhiruchi chicken curry, that is incredible as well. My wife loves typical Indian flavours so she enjoys the spice and the intensity of the masalas. It’s preferable to discuss the spice level before ordering.If you are someone who is spice intolerant, you can either skip this place or go easier on the spices.“

“Taste of Tehran was my first time eating at a restaurant in Tehrangeles, and it was an awesome choice. This was definitely one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants I've been to in LA. Everything was so great. And yes, I ate a lot of food on the first day here. I started off with some of the stews that included gormeh sabzi, the gheyme, and ash reshteh, which were all very tasty. The surprise hit to me was the Lentil Quinoa Salad. Seriously, one of the best salads I've ever had. It was sweet, refreshing, and savory all at the same time. No words to describe. And then the meats: the koobideh and soltani plate, just fabulous, along with that lentil rice. I can honestly say that Persians make the best rice out of all Middle Eastern countries! Even the barberry rice was amazing. Never had a rice this sweet and fruity before! Overall, an amazing experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Don't be fooled by the looks of this place. It looks like a quick, over the counter order type of restaurant, but the food is top notch. Even Anthony Bourdain has been here! “We were among the first guests to arrive today. Though we were served by a single person but Tajeshree was awesome in delivering food fast, adding extra requests of dessert and tea in the end. Chicken biryani was delicious and so was lamb boti, spinach, chicken boti and naans with well cooked at the appropriate heat and spice level. I'll highly recommend this place. Ample parking and quick service. Wooden carving in the interior. One may have to wait after 1 pm since rush increase for dine-in as well as pick-ups. Thanks for an enjoyable experience.“

“I’ve been going there to shop for halal meat since at least 20 plus years. I always heard that their prices are very high. I have gone to other meat shops in this area and tried to track the prices for some main items. After my own experience I’m convinced that their prices are usually reasonable.
The meat is always fresh and they have all kind of meat in stock but unfortunately it’s not the same for the other grocery items.
Their goat meat is the best in the area. We have been doing udhiya (qurbani) with them since a few years and every time the goat is really good, no smell, even the picky eaters in my household enjoy the goat meat.“

“The market is a very pleasant place to be on a Saturday the fruit corner is very good and I buy my best Fuji apples there and best tangerines and peaches. I enjoy the experience a lot.
