We stumbled upon this place 30 minutes before it closed for the day, and ordered 3 different items on the menu: sweet and spicy chicken, soy and garlic chicken, and beef bulgoki. All three were amazing! I cannot stress how good and flavorful the food was. Highest quality! My only regret is that I didn't have time to go back again. “I was first introduced to Nashville-style hot chicken at Hattie B's in Nashville. Although I've never found anything quite like it here in Los Angeles (Hattie B's chicken serves bone-in whole pieces, marinated through), I'm addicted to Dave's, and love the Extra Hot! (I'll stay away from Reaper...I don't need to try something that requires a signed waiver!)

My go-to is the #4, and their fries are great too. The extra pickles they include are a really nice touch, and the sauce is a the perfect alternate to ketchup, and really goes with the chicken.

The staff is always friendly and helpful, and I can order at the counter, at a touch-screen kiosk, or on my app. The app has kind of become the easiest option for me now that I've gotten the hang of reordering my usual. I try to limit my fried, fast-food meals, but Dave's is usually my first thought when I'm in the mood to indulge in that kind of treat. If you like spice, it's a must-try!“

“Great Experience at Nan Dagh – Kabob Daagh,

We came to Kabob Dagh – Naan Daagh Kabob last night with five families, and everyone was extremely happy with the food and service.

We ordered kabob, Qabili palaw, shami kabob, lamb tikka kabob, fresh hot naan, salad, tea, ashak, and several other dishes. Everything was fresh, delicious, clean, and beautifully prepared. The food was very well organized and ready on time.

We only had about one hour, and the restaurant did an excellent job preparing everything quickly without compromising the quality. All five families enjoyed the meal and left very satisfied.

We highly recommend Kabob Dagh to our friends, families, and anyone visiting from anywhere in the United States. It’s a great place to enjoy delicious Afghan food with your family and friends.

“Taste of Tehran was my first time eating at a restaurant in Tehrangeles, and it was an awesome choice. This was definitely one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants I've been to in LA. Everything was so great. And yes, I ate a lot of food on the first day here. I started off with some of the stews that included gormeh sabzi, the gheyme, and ash reshteh, which were all very tasty. The surprise hit to me was the Lentil Quinoa Salad. Seriously, one of the best salads I've ever had. It was sweet, refreshing, and savory all at the same time. No words to describe. And then the meats: the koobideh and soltani plate, just fabulous, along with that lentil rice. I can honestly say that Persians make the best rice out of all Middle Eastern countries! Even the barberry rice was amazing. Never had a rice this sweet and fruity before! Overall, an amazing experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Don't be fooled by the looks of this place. It looks like a quick, over the counter order type of restaurant, but the food is top notch. Even Anthony Bourdain has been here! “I’ve been going there to shop for halal meat since at least 20 plus years. I always heard that their prices are very high. I have gone to other meat shops in this area and tried to track the prices for some main items. After my own experience I’m convinced that their prices are usually reasonable.
The meat is always fresh and they have all kind of meat in stock but unfortunately it’s not the same for the other grocery items.
Their goat meat is the best in the area. We have been doing udhiya (qurbani) with them since a few years and every time the goat is really good, no smell, even the picky eaters in my household enjoy the goat meat.“

“The market is a very pleasant place to be on a Saturday the fruit corner is very good and I buy my best Fuji apples there and best tangerines and peaches. I enjoy the experience a lot. There is a place for kids to run and play and comfortable tables to have a delicious meal bought at the market. I recommend the coffee there too and the bread. Enjoy the experience.“
