“I'm just going to start off with if you don't eat pizza go anyway just for the atmosphere. Today I had the pleasure of dining at 786° pizza. The food was simply outstanding. The crust was perfectly crispy. The cheese was gooey and flavorful and the toppings were fresh and delicious but what really set the pizza place apart was the incredible hospitality of the people who worked there chef Mari chef Chris and chef Lesli. from the moment we walked in we were greeted with warm, smiles and friendly conversation. The Abhiruchi chicken curry, goat biryani, and the chili garlic naan are highlights, but everything I've tried has been excellent. “I went to finally try this spot on a Thursday for $2 tenders. Ordered 2 cool (less than mild), 2 glow (mild), and 2 spark (medium). They all came out looking the same and once I tried it all, there wasn't much of a difference in spice level. I could've tried the next tier after Spark --- I think .The batter was great - loved the crunch and crispyness of it.I thought they would've been stingy about the $2 tenders but the size of the tenders were a good size.Staff was nice and efficient for a busy Thursday lunchtime. There's outdoor seating if you can't find a spot inside.“

“I contacted Misah regarding catering for my birthday party for 30 people. From the very start, Misah and his staff were polite, professional, and friendly. My wife took me to the restaurant for lunch to sample the food a couple of days before the party. Misah was very nice in person as well. The food was freshly prepared and very delicious. All the sides were good as well; the lentil soup, cucumber yogurt, and hummus. He offered us free desserts to sample. Their homemade baklava is so good. When they prepare your catering order, they cook the kabob close to your pickup time so that it is hot and fresh when you get home. They use very good quality containers for transporting the food. Our party guests loved the food so much that we barely had any leftovers for the next day. We will definitely eat at Chelo in the future. It is a small hidden gem in Van Nuys.“

It's a hidden treasure created by a talented, caring, and creative Punjabi chef.We ordered bhindi masala, chicken korma, shrimp tandoori, yellow dal, plain basmati rice, garlic naan, and plain naan. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. You don't need to (and you won't want to) add anything to any dish (spicy peppers, pickles, salt, sauce), because the chef has thought of everything, and done everything exactly right.The bhindi (okra) is simply seasoned and has an earthy, smoky flavor, accompanied by other carefully chosen vegetables that enhance and don't overpower the bhindi. The chicken korma is tender and very tasty. The perfectly succulent shrimp tandoori is accompanied by delicious broccoli also cooked in the tandoor, and the dish arrives at your table still steaming. The yellow dal is especially delicious, as are the breads.Overall, a great and unexpected eating experience. “If only this place had consistency with their dishes, they'd have 5 stars from me. I get the chicken korma (I order spicy). Sometimes it's hardly spicy at all and sometimes it's so spicy it's almost inedible. Sometimes the color of the dish is pale and tastes bland, other times it's a deep red-orange full of flavor. Sometimes the consistency is watery and other times thick. I never know if I'll be disappointed or not until I get my order. I've never dined inside, but I have picked up my order and it seems like a nice place to have dinner. Looks clean, low lighting, and the service has always been very friendly.“

They quickly took my order for takeout and was told it would be about 20 mins. Food was ready by the time I came back and it smelled amazing. I got the mixed lule kebab plate and it had a beef and chicken lule over rice. Sides of salad, hummus, , pita bread, and veggies (separate in a bag). Flavor was on point, however the lule was slightly on the drier side but not terrible. For the price, it hit the spot. It was a huge portion and I ended up having a small portion of leftovers the next day. Not sure how it compares to other Mediterranean restaurants in the area, but it wasn't bad.“

A lot of “middle-eastern” places serve food that is more “inspired by” then the actual thing, and after you add in a bored line cook the recipes become very blah.Not so here, all the items are spiced subtly but correctly, even the saffron rice which almost always tastes like rice with yellow food coloring at most places.The spicing on everything was done to perfection- subtle but prominent and easily distinguished from each other.Rare that I give a five star, especially when I order it from a delivery service but these people have hit it out of the park. So I go across the street for some pizza, and there was Sunny, greeting me right as I walked in! I noticed all the pepperoni and cheese pizza was gone, naturally when your 'zaa is in high demand, so instead of leaving I chose a healthy option and got the house chopped salad. BEST. SALAD. EVER. Right when I ordered it, Sunny's amazing smile lit up, and I could tell I was in for a treat. This salad was HUGE, (I needed an extra plate to separate it, taking it in two waves) and she was generous with all the toppings without overdoing it, keeping it all balanced! The service was great, the food came out quickly and hot and I keep thinking about how good it all was. We tried the sabzi, mantu, aushak, kabuli pulao and bolani. Highlight was definitely the lamb in the kabuli pulao -- it was tender and cooked perfectly. My only wish was that the restaurant was nearer to where I live! One other thing to note is that the menu did NOT have any of the Afghan items listed. The staff said they're getting new menus printed soon with the full menu.“
