“Great Experience at Nan Dagh – Kabob Daagh,

We came to Kabob Dagh – Naan Daagh Kabob last night with five families, and everyone was extremely happy with the food and service.

We ordered kabob, Qabili palaw, shami kabob, lamb tikka kabob, fresh hot naan, salad, tea, ashak, and several other dishes. Everything was fresh, delicious, clean, and beautifully prepared. The food was very well organized and ready on time.

We only had about one hour, and the restaurant did an excellent job preparing everything quickly without compromising the quality. All five families enjoyed the meal and left very satisfied.

We highly recommend Kabob Dagh to our friends, families, and anyone visiting from anywhere in the United States. It’s a great place to enjoy delicious Afghan food with your family and friends.

“I would go to Jawadi Halal Meat Market everyday.
What a GEM of a store with fresh meat and different groceries.
Mr Jawadi and his staff Francesco are absolutely the kindest and extremely helpful.
I needed tendons to make a certain dish and no one really carries it...they special ordered it for me at no extra charge.
I asked for meat for my animals and Brother Jawadi gave me two big bags without any charge ????❤️❤️
This is our new place of business that we will be frequenting for all our meat and grocery needs.
They carry halal soft candies that my husband loves.
I would give them a hundred ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stars

Got the chicken tandoori biryani and tikka masala just to start but next time will try something different. Very clean and friendly welcoming atmosphere. And got a rice pudding too which was so good. “I was first introduced to Nashville-style hot chicken at Hattie B's in Nashville. Although I've never found anything quite like it here in Los Angeles (Hattie B's chicken serves bone-in whole pieces, marinated through), I'm addicted to Dave's, and love the Extra Hot! (I'll stay away from Reaper...I don't need to try something that requires a signed waiver!)

My go-to is the #4, and their fries are great too. The extra pickles they include are a really nice touch, and the sauce is a the perfect alternate to ketchup, and really goes with the chicken.

The staff is always friendly and helpful, and I can order at the counter, at a touch-screen kiosk, or on my app. The app has kind of become the easiest option for me now that I've gotten the hang of reordering my usual. I try to limit my fried, fast-food meals, but Dave's is usually my first thought when I'm in the mood to indulge in that kind of treat. If you like spice, it's a must-try!“

“I got the ground chicken skewers for dinner. The food was good. The price is great for the amount of food you get. I got 2 skewers, rice, a salad, hummus, pita bread, & a sauce for the salad. The sauce that comes with the salad is especially good. The service we experienced was also good. We ordered online and the food was served in a timely manner. Overall, this is a good Mediterranean restaurant for a nice, casual meal.“

“I'm not from the immediate area and was looking for a place to grab a quick dinner before an appointment. I happened upon Oliver Peppers and decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. I was seriously impressed.

The chicken kabob was outstanding -- every bit on a par with what you might expect at a fancier establishment and the side salad was substantial -- not just the usual afterthought iceberg slide with a tomato.

“Weekend authentic Pakistani food in the valley. This is THE place to have exotic and authentic Pakistani food in the valley.
We always come here to have the Brain Masala from the menu and Bihari Kebab. Those two dishes are the must have when ever you come here.
We also tried their Haleem which was okay.
All the food is proper Pakistani and spicy so be ready to sweat a little.
The service has gotten much better then what it used to be with waiting for food but this time around we got our food in appropriate timing.
Recommend come hungry and try those two for sure.“

“I love Naab so much! We order from here at least a couple times a month. The portions are very generous, always fresh and consistent. The plates come with a very large amount of protein, rice, salad, hummus and pita. Tastes like a made meal... Healthy and enough for leftovers. This place is a gem!“

Both meals were superb and really exceeded our expectations . On top of a wonderful meal, the staff really went out of their way to make us happy. “I’ve been going there to shop for halal meat since at least 20 plus years. I always heard that their prices are very high. I have gone to other meat shops in this area and tried to track the prices for some main items. After my own experience I’m convinced that their prices are usually reasonable.
The meat is always fresh and they have all kind of meat in stock but unfortunately it’s not the same for the other grocery items.
Their goat meat is the best in the area. We have been doing udhiya (qurbani) with them since a few years and every time the goat is really good, no smell, even the picky eaters in my household enjoy the goat meat.“

I ordered the potato and leek bolanee. Both were delicious, I always prefer leek over potato but that's my preference both were amazing. I also ordered the mantoo which was cooked to perfection and the afghan rice with lamb shank which is essentially khabuli pualo was also delicious. The lady who was running the spot was the sweetest lady ever she included an extra plate for us the Chapli kabob, which was exceptional! I was not expecting it to be this good!!! the meat was so so tender I thought it was lamb! Definitely going to be my regular spot! So happy to have found this gem! Also keep in mind this food is FRESH and made to order so factor in that it's not a drive through joint and the food isn't just sitting out, there is one lady running the store and cooking so be patient you won't be disappointed. Overall 10/10 I will definitely be back and recommend this place to everyone!!!“
