“The outside look of this restaurant does not represent the Inside. Very lovely décor inside. Lunch was pretty busy but service is great. Food does not take long.
I had Ghormeh Sabzi. The stew as its described, is different from my understanding. Basically had one type of herb and meat plus the sauce. The sauce taste very strong. I cannot describe the flavor.
The prices are not bad. Very reasonable.
Stick with the Kabobs.“

“Taste of Tehran was my first time eating at a restaurant in Tehrangeles, and it was an awesome choice. This was definitely one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants I've been to in LA. Everything was so great. And yes, I ate a lot of food on the first day here. I started off with some of the stews that included gormeh sabzi, the gheyme, and ash reshteh, which were all very tasty. The surprise hit to me was the Lentil Quinoa Salad. Seriously, one of the best salads I've ever had. It was sweet, refreshing, and savory all at the same time. No words to describe. And then the meats: the koobideh and soltani plate, just fabulous, along with that lentil rice. I can honestly say that Persians make the best rice out of all Middle Eastern countries! Even the barberry rice was amazing. Never had a rice this sweet and fruity before! Overall, an amazing experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Don't be fooled by the looks of this place. It looks like a quick, over the counter order type of restaurant, but the food is top notch. Even Anthony Bourdain has been here! “This is probably my best middle east restaurant in Los Angeles. Today I prefer to eat boiled lamb with rice . I checked near me i found Yemen Kitchen. I placed an order lamb khabsa togo and some boiled vegetables and fried chicken. Food was really cooked well and delicious. I would like to eat there . They have a good taste in their foods .“

“As a Persian American, I am so glad I found this place. It offers something I’ve been wishing for my whole life, modernized Persian food. Traditional is unbeatable, but I’ve always wondered what it would be like if people took those recipes and updated them. Azizam offers that. I came specially for the kuku sandwich and it was excellent, simple and very fresh. Same with the shallot yoghurt and Kipteh. We also tried the secanjaben spritz which if you like those flavors you will love. I really love this whole concept and would love to see more dishes! The ambience is friendly and warm. Highly recommend.“

“We came in with a group of 5 people for lunch at 12 PM and ordered the Hummus & Grilled Chicken Plate. The plate has tons of flavor from every bite, with each ingredient serving its own purpose. Everything was perfectly balanced. Nothing too salty, sweet, spicy, or savory. The portion sizes are pretty large. There are small outdoor and indoor seating, with some tables only able to hold 2 people at a time.

Summary:
- CLEANLINESS. Very clean and organized. There are some tables inside and outside.
- COSTS. $$ Decently priced for the quality and amount served. (About $22 per plate at the time of this writing.)
- CUSTOMER SERVICE. The staff were very fast and professional.
- FOOD QUALITY. The ingredients were freshly prepared. You can tell none were prepackaged or left sitting there for hours.
- FOOD QUANTITY. A large-sized portion.
- WAIT TIME. We went in around 12 PM, which is generally the peak lunch time. Quick service. 10-15 Minute wait.“

“I love it here, and just doing a review as I was about to go a 2nd time this week (I usually only get to go once a week due to my schedule, but I’m on vacation this week) and was checking the menu online and noticed a ridiculous review from someone scared of the dark and unable to digest iceberg lettuce (seriously, buddy learn to cook and stay away from restaurants ) . So this place is a hidden GEM! The food is fresh and amazing, the staff is sweet, caring and highly efficient, the prices are fair and reasonable, and the hummus is literally my favorite hummus and I’ve had many. I normally go once a week and get 2 of the chicken bowls, one with lettuce (because I’m normal) and shrazi and hummus and cucumber yogurt, and a 2nd bowl for my wife that is exactly the same except every item is separated (she is a Virgo). After only the first few weeks they remembered my order including my wife’s packaging modifications. Some months back I came in after a bad hand injury, and to this day they always check how it’s healing.
I could go on but getting hungry and have to get my bowl (or might try a wrap for fun)
