“Came to Carousel with a party of 9. Our table was waiting on arrival and the staff was fantastic especially given our time constraints. We let them know we had to be out the door in 90 minutes for a show and they ensured we were fed a feast with time to spare. We did the family style - Hollywood Feast which was a lot of fun. The Hollywood Feast will leave you with days of leftovers which we are now enjoying. Would recommend family style for large groups. All the food was great, everyone agreed the chicken stood out as superb, very juicy and tender. Definitely coming back.“

“This is the first iranian restaurant ive been to that doesnt serve kabob. Its so unique, and all their dishes taste so so so good. Its like traditional home-styled dishes. Amazing. They have some modern twists to some stuff like the appetizers. And they have sekanjebin, I loved it (an apple cider vinegar drink - kinda like poppy but better lol). Im going back forsure. P.S. the ambiance is nice with the old-school iranian decorations and plants. The lamb gheimeh is to die for.“

In fact, It is a good restaurant (5 Star) with excellent, well made, good ambiance, and delicious food and a vast array of dishes on the menu. I placed an order lamb khabsa togo and some boiled vegetables and fried chicken. Food was really cooked well and delicious. I would like to eat there . They have a good taste in their foods .“

“Taste of Tehran was my first time eating at a restaurant in Tehrangeles, and it was an awesome choice. This was definitely one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants I've been to in LA. Everything was so great. And yes, I ate a lot of food on the first day here. I started off with some of the stews that included gormeh sabzi, the gheyme, and ash reshteh, which were all very tasty. The surprise hit to me was the Lentil Quinoa Salad. Seriously, one of the best salads I've ever had. It was sweet, refreshing, and savory all at the same time. No words to describe. And then the meats: the koobideh and soltani plate, just fabulous, along with that lentil rice. I can honestly say that Persians make the best rice out of all Middle Eastern countries! Even the barberry rice was amazing. Never had a rice this sweet and fruity before! Overall, an amazing experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Don't be fooled by the looks of this place. It looks like a quick, over the counter order type of restaurant, but the food is top notch. Even Anthony Bourdain has been here! “The salmon carpaccio was super fresh and delicate, just really well done. My date had the shawarma flatbread and it was packed with flavor with the perfect texture. We also shared the babaganoosh, which was smoky, creamy, and so good. The cocktails were beautifully made, and everything from the timing to how the dishes were presented felt thoughtful. “Great place with wonderful people cooking. The inside eating area wasn't open so we ate outside in front of the Paris patisserie shop. Super authentic and the cook was very generous and kind with us. Lovely people. The kabob had a little bit too much baking soda in it, which made it kind of bouncy but otherwise the koobideh was large and tasty. The dumplings had a very nice soup and sausage interior. They were hefty.“
