“Came to Carousel with a party of 9. Our table was waiting on arrival and the staff was fantastic especially given our time constraints. We let them know we had to be out the door in 90 minutes for a show and they ensured we were fed a feast with time to spare. We did the family style - Hollywood Feast which was a lot of fun. The Hollywood Feast will leave you with days of leftovers which we are now enjoying. Would recommend family style for large groups. All the food was great, everyone agreed the chicken stood out as superb, very juicy and tender. Definitely coming back.“

“One of my favorite spots in LA!

I’m always craving their mazeh plate (especially in the sweltering summer, it’s so refreshing and tasty). I swear their smashed olives made the world stop the first time I tried them. Im OBSESSED with their torshi! I legit think about it several times a week.

Honestly everything is good- chicken, potatoes, sandwiches. Barbari bread is out of this world and I always get a few extra slices.

Great beverages too- albaloo spritz and Al’s Palmer are yummy and refreshing.

They have several desserts I’ve been meaning to try but the ferni and sholezard are too good I can’t not order them lol.

The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming and the perfect casual spot to catch up with friends.“

In fact, It is a good restaurant (5 Star) with excellent, well made, good ambiance, and delicious food and a vast array of dishes on the menu. I must say that their portions are generous in comparison to prices. I ask people to give them a try at least once and see for themselves. I think they are going to be hooked. “The family and I decided to stop by and grab Mediterranean food and my husband brought me by his spot he has been going to for 1 yeah or+ years. Upon entering you get greeted by the sweetest owner and staff. The menu is quite extensive and has variety of things from kabob plates to wraps; then burgers and vegetarian options. I ended up getting the lamb and beef kabob plate with hummus and rice. I also got a side of falafel and some fries to share with the family. The hubby got the beef kabob plate and we shared with the girls. Portions were quite filling and more then enough for our family , hummus was so good. Everything is fresh and house made to the sauces that come with it. The garlic being some of my favorite. This family owned place serves really good food and made sure the family was fed and happy. Definitely recommend and absolutely coming back.“

Which the Permited kitchen actually is the chefs home adding the extra layer of hospitality, unlike anything else . The from Scratch Dinner experience offered a variety of different cultural foods from Palestine, Summer shared stories with us about her culture , history, and her upbringing. Making the Food so much more special, knowing that is made with love and it's her form of resistance against oppression that she offers to the world . 20% of the proceeds are donated to Palestinian families, who are experiencing extreme hardships due to the Ongoing G3n!cide in Her Homeland. “This is probably my best middle east restaurant in Los Angeles. Today I prefer to eat boiled lamb with rice . I checked near me i found Yemen Kitchen. I placed an order lamb khabsa togo and some boiled vegetables and fried chicken. Food was really cooked well and delicious. I would like to eat there . They have a good taste in their foods .“

Not only was the food absolutely delicious! But the owner welcomed us with open arms. Everything fresh, and made with love.

“Taste of Tehran was my first time eating at a restaurant in Tehrangeles, and it was an awesome choice. This was definitely one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants I've been to in LA. Everything was so great. And yes, I ate a lot of food on the first day here. I started off with some of the stews that included gormeh sabzi, the gheyme, and ash reshteh, which were all very tasty. The surprise hit to me was the Lentil Quinoa Salad. Seriously, one of the best salads I've ever had. It was sweet, refreshing, and savory all at the same time. No words to describe. And then the meats: the koobideh and soltani plate, just fabulous, along with that lentil rice. I can honestly say that Persians make the best rice out of all Middle Eastern countries! Even the barberry rice was amazing. Never had a rice this sweet and fruity before! Overall, an amazing experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Don't be fooled by the looks of this place. It looks like a quick, over the counter order type of restaurant, but the food is top notch. Even Anthony Bourdain has been here! “The food is great, we order it often! But the delivery guys ALWAYS REFUSES to come bring our food to our office. Why are we tipping for delivery to not be done properly? It’s so annoying I’ve called the restaurant to bring it up but he literally always makes us go downstairs.“

“The market is a very pleasant place to be on a Saturday the fruit corner is very good and I buy my best Fuji apples there and best tangerines and peaches. I enjoy the experience a lot. There is a place for kids to run and play and comfortable tables to have a delicious meal bought at the market. I recommend the coffee there too and the bread. Enjoy the experience.“

“Great place with wonderful people cooking. The inside eating area wasn't open so we ate outside in front of the Paris patisserie shop. Super authentic and the cook was very generous and kind with us. Lovely people. The kabob had a little bit too much baking soda in it, which made it kind of bouncy but otherwise the koobideh was large and tasty. The dumplings had a very nice soup and sausage interior. They were hefty.“

“Ordered a regular beef gyro platter. Decent portion meal with their signature aromatic rice and the beef gyro. Place has some foot traffic during dinner but not too busy that waiting in line is an issue. Staff are attentive and prepare food with care.“
