Unless you happen to be gluten-phobic, in which case I feel for you. Truly. My wife can’t do gluten. Luckily, I was on my own tonight because some KCRW screening of an Oscar movie sold out before I could get in. And it was free.

NONETHELESS Esme is a wonderful gem in a series of tight cross streets filled with high carbs and beer pubs. You would be lucky and blessed to have this experience. Do it today.

“First time eating here. Probably the best falafel I've ever had! Servers are friendly and let you know food will take a bit of time. But it's fresh and carefully prepared so that makes sense! Stopped here before flying out for dinner and the food was amazing. We got the beef stew with black lime and a chicken shawarma dish. Both so flavorful and generous portions! Their rice is amazing!! We also got their house drinks, the mint cooler and orange blossom sekanjebin. Very aromatic and refreshing. It was nice to have a good meal on the flight for a snack. Very cute and homey ambiance and cute branding. They have cool totes I dunno if they sell them but the stickers they have on the cups would be great merch!!

We had the lamb chops and the snapper, and both were outstanding… beautifully prepared and full of flavor. And whatever you do, save room for dessert! The Baklava Sundae was absolutely amazing and the perfect way to cap off the meal.

“Came to Carousel with a party of 9. Our table was waiting on arrival and the staff was fantastic especially given our time constraints. We let them know we had to be out the door in 90 minutes for a show and they ensured we were fed a feast with time to spare. We did the family style - Hollywood Feast which was a lot of fun. The Hollywood Feast will leave you with days of leftovers which we are now enjoying. Would recommend family style for large groups. All the food was great, everyone agreed the chicken stood out as superb, very juicy and tender. Definitely coming back.“

The manager my boiii! He the coolest individual with dope energy everytime he see me its always love. I come here usually to get my favorite medi-plate “salmon fillet” w/brown rice, or my other favorite salmon Alfredo pasta! They both my top tops of all time here! “Have gotten takeout from here a number of times. Never disappointed. Flavorful chicken that's nice and tender, ingredients always seem fresh.
All of the sauces are very tasty and they are very generous with them. The chicken plate and The Get Greeky bowl are, so far, my favorites. Pricing is fair compared to some other places.

It is clean with authentically middle-eastern ambiance and music, with plenty of seating. Don’t let the condition of the surrounding neighborhood scare you off. It’s worth the trip! I’m always craving their mazeh plate (especially in the sweltering summer, it’s so refreshing and tasty). I swear their smashed olives made the world stop the first time I tried them. Im OBSESSED with their torshi! I legit think about it several times a week.

Honestly everything is good- chicken, potatoes, sandwiches. Barbari bread is out of this world and I always get a few extra slices.

Great beverages too- albaloo spritz and Al’s Palmer are yummy and refreshing.

They have several desserts I’ve been meaning to try but the ferni and sholezard are too good I can’t not order them lol.

The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming and the perfect casual spot to catch up with friends.“

In fact, It is a good restaurant (5 Star) with excellent, well made, good ambiance, and delicious food and a vast array of dishes on the menu. I must say that their portions are generous in comparison to prices. I ask people to give them a try at least once and see for themselves. I think they are going to be hooked. “This is probably my best middle east restaurant in Los Angeles. Today I prefer to eat boiled lamb with rice . I checked near me i found Yemen Kitchen. I placed an order lamb khabsa togo and some boiled vegetables and fried chicken. Food was really cooked well and delicious. I would like to eat there . They have a good taste in their foods .“
