“An absolutely wonderful dining experience at Orla by Michael Mina! Everything was exceptional, from the food and presentation to the service and overall atmosphere.

We had the lamb chops and the snapper, and both were outstanding… beautifully prepared and full of flavor. And whatever you do, save room for dessert! The Baklava Sundae was absolutely amazing and the perfect way to cap off the meal.

Orla is definitely worth a visit, and I highly recommend it!“

Stopped here before flying out for dinner and the food was amazing. We got the beef stew with black lime and a chicken shawarma dish. Both so flavorful and generous portions! Their rice is amazing!! We also got their house drinks, the mint cooler and orange blossom sekanjebin. Very aromatic and refreshing. It was nice to have a good meal on the flight for a snack. Very cute and homey ambiance and cute branding. They have cool totes I dunno if they sell them but the stickers they have on the cups would be great merch!!

“my boyfriend and I came here for the first time and LOVED IT! I’m middle eastern and was drooooooling over the wagyu shawarma. I was on the fence about getting the hummus side and ultimately decided against it bc I wasn’t sure how much food I wanted - but then 5 minutes later the lovely man working ( I didn’t get his name but he had tunnels ) very very kindly brought out a small side of hummus for us to try and it was bomb! the fries also fantastic and only $5! i’m pretty sure they make the ketchup because it was delicious. next time i’ll be getting the full side of hummus and adding a side of hot sauce. one of my new favorite spots“

In fact, It is a good restaurant (5 Star) with excellent, well made, good ambiance, and delicious food and a vast array of dishes on the menu. I must say that their portions are generous in comparison to prices. I ask people to give them a try at least once and see for themselves. I think they are going to be hooked. “Taste of Tehran was my first time eating at a restaurant in Tehrangeles, and it was an awesome choice. This was definitely one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants I've been to in LA. Everything was so great. And yes, I ate a lot of food on the first day here. I started off with some of the stews that included gormeh sabzi, the gheyme, and ash reshteh, which were all very tasty. The surprise hit to me was the Lentil Quinoa Salad. Seriously, one of the best salads I've ever had. It was sweet, refreshing, and savory all at the same time. No words to describe. And then the meats: the koobideh and soltani plate, just fabulous, along with that lentil rice. I can honestly say that Persians make the best rice out of all Middle Eastern countries! Even the barberry rice was amazing. Never had a rice this sweet and fruity before! Overall, an amazing experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Don't be fooled by the looks of this place. It looks like a quick, over the counter order type of restaurant, but the food is top notch. Even Anthony Bourdain has been here!
