“I recently tried Monaia Mediterranean Cuisine and was genuinely impressed by the quality of the food. If you’re looking for authentic Lebanese-style Mediterranean dishes, this place definitely delivers.

The standout for me was the grilled meat—everything from the chicken to the beef kebabs was cooked perfectly, juicy, and full of flavor. The shawarma was also excellent, with well-seasoned meat and fresh toppings. Their sides deserve just as much credit; the hummus was smooth and rich, and the baba ghanoush had a nice smoky depth that tasted homemade.

Portions are generous, which makes the prices feel fair, especially if you’re sharing plates. It’s the kind of place where you can order a few items and easily have enough for leftovers.

The atmosphere is pretty simple and casual—this isn’t a fancy or trendy spot, but more of a low-key neighborhood restaurant. Most people seem to order takeout, and it’s easy to see why the food travels well.

“Have you ever entered a business and immediately feel like you just walked into your home where family is waiting to greet you? That was the very feeling I had when I stopped by the NoHo Cafe today. I knew the food was good as I used the delivery service before. Today I decided to visit the Cafe and I promise I’ll continue going frequently. The food is delicious but what won me over was the welcome and love you experience when you walk in the door. The staff is amazing... the Cafe has a very “welcome home” atmosphere. The complimentary cup of soup is AWESOME. I sat at a corner table allowing me to do what I love...watch people. As I enjoyed my delicious first meal of 2020 I watched as every person who entered was treated with care and joy. Just like being home the staff will keep checking to see if the food is ok and if you need anything. The NoHo Cafe is a place I recommend to anyone wishing to enjoy a good meal and to experience a “welcome home” feeling. “I recently visited Safir Mediterranean Cuisine after their remodel, and honestly the place looks fantastic now — very modern, clean, stylish, and welcoming without losing its warm atmosphere.

The food was delicious every time I went. Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and made with care. You can tell they really put effort into both the quality and presentation. The staff was friendly, attentive, and respectful, which made the experience even better.

A special thank you to Matt, the owner, who was a true gentleman. He took the time to greet customers and made everyone feel comfortable and appreciated. That kind of hospitality is becoming rare these days.

I noticed a few unfair negative reviews online, but after visiting several times and seeing how busy the restaurant was with happy customers, I honestly believe Safir deserves much more support and fair recognition. Sometimes one bad experience gets exaggerated online, but consistent service and quality speak louder.
