Very good food, gracious service, good value. Our group had chicken kabobs, vegan stew, lamb shank, keftedes. All were happy with choices. We have been to Ali Baba several times and never disappointed.
Once I discover a place I love, I go back again and again and again. I live 13 miles away but well worth the distance. They have so many dishes that I love that I try something different every time I come and I've been enjoying every bite of every dish. Their chicken kabob is so juicy and flavorful, yet light and healthy. Their Baghali polo is fantastic, their Kashke Bajemjan is a rich beautiful blend of eggplant and yogurt/kashk . Ali Baba is my go to Mediterranean food in north county San Diego. Ambiance is good, it captures the culture, but still feels plain. The service is great! Food is amazing! If you're about the kind of food that makes you feel like you're at your friend's house who's from another country, this is it. Tastes like their grandma loves you like a son or a daughter. Keep the fresh hot naan coming!!!!
