“Had a beautiful dinner at Juliet yesterday! It’s such a charming space with a large patio and interior space. Service was excellent and they do a great job accommodating dietary restrictions. We tried the poisson cru, cauliflower, risotto, classic salad, and sea bream. All were fabulous, bursting with flavors and super well-balanced. We left the meal feeling full but not heavy and already talking about coming back soon!”
“Used to live in LA but have since moved back to FL. Just came back to visit and my best friend out here took me here for a surprise because I’ve been wanting to try it. Well I wasn’t disappointed. Old school vibes, old school service and old school quality. Everything was awesome. I know it’s a weird one for a steakhouse but try the pigs in a blanket made with Wagyu beef. And the Caesar salad is made table side fresh. Outstanding. Sooooo good. I could eat at this place every night. If you have a chance, get in there!”

“Everything about this place is PERFECTION. The owner, Plern, is an absolute genius! Plern has so much talent and puts all her heart into this place. You really feel like you’re being cared for here.”
“Love the selection of beers and the board games, but the place is all hard surfaces and high ceilings so it can get really loud if it's at all busy. And please can we get some more vegan options with the food trucks!”

“Great, family-owned place with delicious, authentic Indian comfort food at reasonable prices (3 entrees, shareable appetizer, Naan, drinks, and 20+% tip for <$85). Servers were attentive, owners greeted everyone, atmosphere was welcoming.”
“I love this place so much!! Everything from the amazing food to the overall energy and ambiance. The crispy chicken is literally the best sandwich I've had in L.A. in years, and the desserts are off the chain, as well -- the raspberry lemon cake is my favorite. And the lemonades are delicious!!!!”

“Lei'd Cookies is by far my favorite cookie shop in LA! I've been driving by Lei'd for a while and finally got the chance to try it. I ordered the Strawberry and Passionfruit cookie, Ube and Matcha cookie, and Brown Butter Salt Chocolate Chip cookie. I'm not a huge fan of overly sweet desserts, but these were perfectly satisfying and not too sweet.
The Strawberry and Passionfruit cookie was so addicting; I typically am not a fan of fruit or tart flavored cookies but these were so good! I could really taste the quality and freshness in the ingredients for all of the cookies. They're chewy and soft while having a crispness to the outer layer. Will definitely come back and try the other cookies!”

“AMAZING!!!! One word covers it, the pastries are heaven sent, the owner was there in the morning that I brought my family in during a visit to LA and she was a wonderful woman, humble and gracious, my daughters were blown away by the goodies, maybe a high light of the whole trip!!! I will visit again”
“The staff are pretty cool and friendly. I tried the honey butter chicken sandwich. It was really good! I loved the honey butter dripping on my hands, and the chicken was juicy and flavorful. My son loved his chicken strips and fries as well, except the medium turned out to be a little too spicy for him. We don't live in the area, but it was a nice spot for us to stop by for a quick lunch.”

“The vibes are immaculate here. So glad I found it. The food was okay a little pricey for the quality but still not mad. I had an amazing time and will most definitely be back any chance i get.”
“Andres and Miguel are ALL STARS!! Tonight we came in 30 minutes after the kitchen had closed and they still made us amazing salads. This place is a must see— thank you to the incredible chefs 10/10 customer service”
“A lot to choose from. Solid place for a quick bite to eat”

“I would argue Uzumaki is the best sushi you can get in LA without a reservation. The food is second to none, wait is never too bad and service is always fast and kind. Get the Uzumaki plus and you won’t be disappointed.”
“The foods are amazing … i had the salmon creamy pasta and i liked it so much, the salmon with cherry tomatoes are very refreshing , porcini and mushroom are the new favorites , but the black truffle was the most unforgettable one , once you taste it, it seems you are watching a classic italian movie. The employees are friendly and very accomodating. The atmosphere itself makes you feel like home.”
“The food was amazing. I ordered the chicken pita with Tzatziki and fries. The chicken was juicy with a nice char on the outside and the tzatziki sauce was perfect. What I loved most about this place was the staff. Everyone was polite and friendly; even in their interactions with one another. Definitely will be coming back when I'm in the area.”
“Excellent Restaurant! Delicious Italian food, great friendly, family atmosphere! Go and enjoy yourself and everything on the menu!! Love it!”
“It’s one of my favorite spots. All the curry and biryani dishes I’ve tried there have been excellent! There’s a variety of unique and delightful sweets in the refrigerator case.. seating next to the fountain on the shady patio is surprisingly pleasant, despite the traffic. The staff is friendly, and the prices are fair.”
“It is the best vegan restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. Unfortunately there isn’t one where we live. But anytime I am in CA we always go to the one in Riverside.”
“Wonderful experience last night at Akasha. We got humnus. It came with veggies which I’ve never tried before but surprisingly it was delicious.
We also got the wings, pizza and Wagyu burger. And for desert we got the vegan brownie with ice cream. I did try the steak but the cut wasn’t my preferred type.
But I give them 5 stars because the customer service when I didn’t like the cut was top notch.
Our server was kind, gracious and attentive.
The hostesses were courteous and personable. Definitely recommend.”
“Cute and cozy patio seating. Our server was so great. She was helpful with menu suggestions and went the extra mile to accommodate our requests.
Skillet cornbread was AMAZING. The charred poblanos and honey butter, ugh. So good.
We ordered pork ribs, lean brisket and pulled pork, and sausage. The ribs were my favorite.
Also ordered the Burnt Ends Old Fashioned and it was very good. I would love to go back to try the rest of their Old Fashioned menu!”

“Without a doubt, the most innovative, captivating, and delectable feast I will ever savor. It transcends mere dining; it becomes an immersive experience, a meditative endeavor, and a voyage to an exotic and unfathomable realm. A visit to Vespertine is more than just a meal; it is an extraordinary event.”

“one place uou can't ho wrong. Finally Indian fine cuisine at it's BEST. I highly recommend.”
“I have been enjoying their food for 6 years, ever since I moved to Culver City. Their lurou noodle/rice is very nice, the cheeseburger potsticker is absolutely awesome, and the tomato sauce is among the best I have ever tasted. It's a shock to learn that they are closed now...I will deeply miss them.”
“The food was very good, but they could do better at bringing it out at the same time”
“Sushi was very good and the Omakase is definitely worth the try. Try the dry aged tunas! Wagyu too! None of the dishes were disappointing. 10/10 would come back
Parking: Free parking for the first two hours”
“The curry goat and jerk salmon were good.”
“I love Simonette. The patio is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a cocktail and breakfast, lunch, or brunch. I’ve been there twice now and I can highly recommend the burger on the menu - the fried egg on top completes it! And the mussels in the light cream sauce are wonderful - especially with fries. A friend of mine ordered the fried Bronzino - the complete fish including the head - and she said it was delicious. There are great cocktails available and several wines and Prosecco available by the glass. The onsite valet parking is a bit steep, but there are many nearby options for parking in downtown Culver City if you don’t mind walking a few blocks.”
“This is a great neighborhood restaurant. Service is always great. Food is amazing and believe it or not. They have one of the best burgers in town highly recommend.”
“I'm a regular here - the masala dosa is so good I have to have it several times a month! Gobi Manchurian when I want a sweet and sour and savory and spicy carb treat. Get a side of plain yogurt to dip it in and mellow out the spice just right. Delicious smooth chai tea if I'm there for lunch (caffeine). Don't look for ambiance here, especially when they're at capacity. Very noisy with open kitchen blenders, searing dosa on the large griddle and tables close together all amplified by terrible acoustics. I only go at off-peak times.
Vegetarian options: A section of the menu for no garlic no onion.”
“Joshua was friendly, and helpful explaining all the different beers and IPA 's. The burger was amazing, nice crunchy onion rings... definitely a good place for a tasty burger!”
“Ambiance familiale. Les propriétaires sont très sympatiques et la nourriture est très bonne. Allez-y sans réfléchir si vous avez envie de bon gyros.
Vegetarian options: Falafel sandwich”
“I recently had the pleasure of attending the pro-series cooking course led by Chef Manifa and it was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I walked into the kitchen, Chef Manifa’s passion for food and dedication to teaching was evident. Her classes were not only highly informative but also immensely enjoyable.
Chef Manifa masterfully blended professionalism with warmth, creating an environment that was both educational and inviting. Her deep knowledge of culinary techniques, combined with her clear and patient teaching style, ensured that everyone in the class (from beginners to seasoned cooks) could follow along and improve their skills.
What truly set this cooking course apart was Chef Manifa’s ability to make complex techniques accessible to everyone. She broke down each step with precision, offering invaluable tips and tricks that only a seasoned expert could provide. Whether it was perfecting a delicate sauce or mastering the art of knife skills, Chef Manifa made each lesson engaging and achievable.
Moreover, Chef Manifa's enthusiasm was infectious. Her storytelling and anecdotes from her culinary journey, and genuine interest in each participant's progress made the class feel personal and enriching. The hands-on approach meant we could immediately apply what we learned, and Chef Manifa was always on hand to offer guidance and encouragement.
The highlight of each class was, of course, the food (lol)!! Under Chef Manifa’s expert instruction, week after week, we created dishes that were not only delicious but beautifully presented. The emphasis on using fresh, high-quality ingredients and understanding the science behind cooking techniques truly elevated the experience.
Chef Manifa delivered an outstanding cooking course that exceeded all my expectations. Her expertise, charisma, and passion for the culinary arts made for an unforgettable experience. I left the course not only with new skills and recipes but with a renewed inspiration for cooking.
I wholeheartedly recommend Chef Manifa's classes to anyone looking to enhance their culinary repertoire while having an incredible time!!!
Thank you so much, Chef Manifa you are the best!!!”

“So I am a homeless veteran fresh out of Ohio, am one day I had gone like 4daus with no food. I was hurt emotionally, and asked for anything they could spare to eat. Told me they could not give out free food. But as I dat down to try to gather myself, manager slid me a card to get a burger, so now when I got cash, I step Carl's jr way, to all my brothers and sisters serving, happy veterans Day, Navy div. 482, Hooooay”
“Solid food, decent prices, perfectly serviceable seating area. Huge selection of food options, including the classic Mexican tacos / burritos, breakfast options, and some American entrees.
My biggest gripe is that they have a giant sign saying 24/7, and they are definitely not open 24/7. During late hours you'll have to roll the dice on if they're actually open, unless they finally update their hours on here”
“Turn on some dining experience dining area was clean restroom is not open for the public plenty of parking space the food was excellent great customer service my favorite Taco Bell in Los Angeles Culver City
Parking: Plenty of space
Kid-friendliness: Hi seats chairs for children
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible and entrance”
“My brother and i will be there tomorrow by 8am, food was ok but the coffee delicious.”

“I have known Kristy since she her original store at Abbot Kinney. She makes the most beautiful creations. But most importantly, her desserts are mouthwateringly delicious. Her desserts are both delicate and slightly sweet on the palate. Her background of French and Asian baking techniques are beautifully expressed on her dessert creations. Once you taste her desserts, everything else is secondary.”
Takeout Restaurants
“Surprisingly they have some of the best cookies I've ever had (please bring back the strawberry cookies!) but they don't have it very often and the other pastries are pretty hit or miss. Unfortunately, all of the croissants I've (or others in my group have had) have been sub-par so I've stopped ordering any croissants from them”
“Love the vibe here I often get Uji matcha here. I think drink itself is good. But for matcha, sometimes it comes out with no clumps sometimes it has lots of clumps (different barista) so it’s kinda random lol. I also tried Lox bagel which came out as just what I expected nothing special though (took about 10-15 to get it)”

“Fantastic coffee. espresso or drip, they know exactly what they are doing”
“I love this place! Very healthy and great portions. The seasoning is also very good. I would absolutely love it if they were available on doordash pick up though since I get a company stipend for meals!”
“Love the smoothies here. I always get the very berry and add pistachio bits! Taste just a like a cereal bar with berries. Great service and good ingredients. 10 out of 10
Vegetarian options: If you like vegan option they have that too. Something for everyone”
“Wow! SO fresh (they import their ingredients incl. flour) and it’s a casual drop in spot — hard to find combo in LA. Drizzle the infused olive oil on the prosciutto panini - so good. Kind people working who care about the food and experience. Can’t wait to come back.”
“I write for a music and coffee blog called Crooners In Coffeeshops, in which I interview local musicians at local coffeeshops. My writeup reflects the positive experience that I encountered at Cognoscenti Coffee on our interview date. Modern meets comfort with a hint of retro inside (and outside) Culver City’s Cognoscenti Coffee. Don’t let its small exterior fool you, because once you step inside you will be welcomed by a slew of cute bistro tables, industrial benches, and colorful chairs. But wait, there’s more! Veer to the right and catch a breath of fresh air in their somewhat secluded patio area. Whether you’re meeting with your bestie or having a writer’s meeting, you will easily be able to find a space to fit however many people in your party. Now let’s get to the good stuff! Cognoscenti’s beverage menu is comprised of the classics along with fun seasonal recipes in the mix. My drink of choice, the surprisingly refreshing Turmeric Latte. I wasn’t quite sure what I was getting myself into, but I’m very glad that my day to be adventurous was an enjoyable one with its perfect ratio of milk to spice. Hungry? Check out their selection of huge (and I mean huge) pastries to fill you up for breakfast or to hold you over until your group dinner in one of the Downtown Culver restaurants.”
“Came here to try the pastrami burrito and it was amazing! This had tater tots as the potato and it had a fried egg, cheese,
pickled jalapeños & deli mustard.
The sauce that comes with it also goes very well with it. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to try their coffee but I would come back again just to try it and another burrito style.
The staff was very nice and the decor was neat. There is seating inside and outside. Parking is mostly metered.”
“Everything we ordered was delicious and the staff is very friendly!!”
“LOVE this place! Been over a dozen times at this point, it’s our favorite place in Citizens Market. Always fresh & delicious. The rotating specials are always standouts but the regular hand roll sets are really good on their own too (favorite roll is the kampachi). Also, for people complaining about built-in 16% tip, that’s pretty standard around here (not to mention, also mandatory at kazu nori). Friendly, quick service makes it more than worth it.”

Drive-Thru Restaurants
“Easily the best service I’ve received at any fast food restaurant. S/o to the manager because I saw him treat every guess like it was a family neighborhood restaurant. Place was clean and well managed. Best BK I’ve ever been too.”
“This is the best pizza in Los Angeles. The 30 hour fermented dough makes the crust perfect. The selection of toppings is great. The names of the pizzas provide inspiration for an excellent playlist to listen to on your drive to pick them up. Plus Chef Brandon is just so cool. Park in front of Bar & Garden, go in and grab a bottle of wine, pick up your pizza you already ordered on the easy to use website, and eat the best pizza you’ve had. Don’t forget to try the sauce, ranch, and any side dish he has going on that day too.”
“Panda express here is nice . However, there is another restaurant in the same Panda. I like it because you have options. It's a small panda not sitting inside..only outside tables and the food is hot.friendly staff.”
“#23 lemon pepper its the best Great restaurant awesome food great service”
“I keep running into this annoying Taco Bell ad. It's everywhere, especially on my favorite streaming platform Twitch, until I finally muted it ???
In the end, I decided to stop by Taco Bell and accidentally stumbled upon the burrito of my dreams. There are so many delicious options on the menu. Especially my favorite burrito I think I'm in love with it more than my girlfriend. It's even wrapped so well, I'm in shock ❤️”
“This is an immaculate fast efficient Yoshinoyas for years. I don't know how they keep it so clean and the food is always great! Staff is always efficient and nice and it's NIT an easy job”
“I usually come here at night around 9pm or after. I haven't had them mess up my mobile app order except 90% when I order fries with no salt but they come with salt anyway. It isn't a big deal to me because everything else is right and they seem understaffed at night. I do appreciate when they do it correctly. If it's drive thru only and their dining room is closed, the line tends to take long. Hopefully they try to improve this! I appreciate the staff working here and serving everyone.”
“Employee named DANIA D. BAD AND TERRIBLE ATTITUDE AND STILL SHE MAKES FUN SAYING SHE HAS BEEN WORKING FOR PANDA FOR 20 YEARS AND THAT THEY CAN'T FIRE HER. I hope you pay attention to your clients
I have seen almost 6 bad comments for a year and what a shame they don't do anything with these people.
The ones who lose are you and your clients.”
“Sushi was very good and the Omakase is definitely worth the try. Try the dry aged tunas! Wagyu too! None of the dishes were disappointing. 10/10 would come back

Cheap Eats
“I eat a lot of pastry ? and I'll come back here anytime I'm in town. The pain au chocolate had crisp airy layers and two chocolate bars in the center, as it should. My French partner thinks they likely spent time in France after a bite. Not all patisseries have canales but this one does and it's soft on the inside with a firm nice crust on the outside. One of the best we've had. The olive oil citrus muffin was full flavored and not too sweet. I look forward to working my way through tasting all the breads and pastries in the future.”
“The tortillas are fresh and homemade! The salsa is outstanding!.. tacos are excellent!.. I particularly like the adobada, the asada, and the crispy tacos de papa… the atmosphere is definitely a little scruffy and casual, but with friendly staff and fair prices.
Parking: Just a few spots in their tricky parking lot, but street parking near by. Or take the bus, it stops right there!”
“Great staff!
I enjoy the hojicha with almond milk tea with a bit of cinnamon
?✨
As a coffee alternative.
They have ice cream,
Tasty pastries ?
Smoothies,
And bagel sandwiches ”
“Tito's Tacos were delicious at one time but a year later they were horrible. The meat was little and the color was gray, so much cheese to hide it all. I couldn't take a second bite.”
“My FAVORITE lunch spot in the neighborhood!!!!! If I had it my way I would eat here every day. I do not eat meat so it is always very challenging finding a hearty, healthy, and delicious sandwich on the menu but Monroe has perfected veggie sandwiches! My favorites are the Insanity Later and the Just Peachy. The ingredients are so fresh and the Grandmas focaccia bread is made soft and not too chewy or toasted. The staff is always super friendly and you can tell that they enjoy working there!”
“They have Guinness on tap and they know how to pour a proper pint”
“Delicious! Stumbled upon this hidden gem. Food was incredible, plates were totally customizable, service was amazing (the owner came to offer us extra sauces and napkins and a to go bag at the end)- definitely exceeded expectations. We will be back!”
“Great breakfast burrito, have ordered it several times over the past year. I really don’t recommend their matcha though - really watery and separates immediately”
“Delicious ice cream. The servings are large - a small scoop feels like 2 scoops. They have a cute outdoor area to sit but the interior is odd. Blaring bright lights in a commercial kitchen environment. Employees are dishing out ice cream in an assembly line fashion. It’s actually a very large shop set up to handle a large volume. Salty caramel truffle is my fave.”
“S&W is a classic American breakfast/lunch cafe in the heart of Culver City right near the Kirk Douglas theatre. The location can't be beat but parking can be an issue(not in my case though as I used the excellent Culver City bus).
The menu has the classics and I liked I could build my own 3 egg omelette stuffing it with jack cheese, onions, corn beef, ground beef, bell peppers. It also came with sourdough bread and hash browns(other options available like pancakes. I spent $20 total but the value is above average it was alot of food.
Note: I really like that they ONLY take cash because it contrasts to the trend I really dislike of places not taking cash.
Recommended.”
“They belong in the cloud kitchen in Culver City. This is convenient for pick up. Cloud kitchen is a concept where there are multiple kitchens located in the same location. Food can be ordered prior to arrival to cut the wait time. They will call you when food is ready.I ordered:1. Grilled chicken - chicken is very moist and flavorful!2. Crispy chicken krapow with sunny up side egg - moist chicken3. Mango tropioca”
“Fun, singing, great drinks, friends….party til it closes”

“This chicken place offers a unique and delicious take on fried chicken that will leave you wanting more. Their signature chicken boasts a sweet and sour flavor profile reminiscent of Chinese cuisine, and it's absolutely delicious. The honey mustard and buttermilk ranch dipping sauces perfectly complement the chicken and other menu items. Beyond the savory options, the pie and ice cream combo is a must-try – a truly exceptional dessert that ranks among the best I've ever had. The pleasant music creates a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, further enhancing the dining experience. Overall, this establishment is a fantastic choice for anyone seeking flavorful chicken and a delightful dining experience.”
“Best pastrami I’ve ever eaten! Chili cheese fries were delicious too! I’ll definitely be going back! Thanks to my friends Gilly and Alex for showing me what’s up!!”
“Such a great experience ordering my cookie! The workers were kind enough to help determine which cookies are best for me or their personal favorites. My cookies were so del. Definitely coming back another time!
Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance seemed very inclusive despite the hill it is on.”
