“I really love flaming pasta their sauces are amazing and my favorite part is that you can choose your spice level. I haven’t been able to get over there lately so I ordered delivery and the flaming heat level and it just was not spicy, I do feel like if I was to go in person and talk to the people and make my request it would most likely be fulfilled“

“This is the go to restaurant when staying in LA. Food is always perfect. Service is exceptional, and honestly made to feel like family. After an amazing meal Bruce and Rene treated us to the most exquisite desserts that were truely to die for. This was the dining highlight of our US trip from Scotland and the best genuine hospitality we've experienced. Well done to all involved, wish you weren't 5000 miles away from where we live. It was towards the end of the evening and they were only a few people left at the restaurant, we had to ask the waitress for our bread four times which was unusual. Otherwise, we appreciated the quiet atmosphere, the very nice wine and high  quality, wine glasses and the good food. We were a little bit disappointed because at the end of the evening we noted we smelled cigarette smoke coming from the back of the restaurant we felt was quite unprofessional. This is the only time we have been at the restaurant. The owner wasn't there and our perception was that there was a step down in discipline among the staff that day“

“Hugo's is our family's ultimate go-to place when we need a place that satisfies everyone of every age and taste. Great salads, burgers, sandwiches, breakfasts, sides. Everything leans towards healthy-ish, so that's a plus. The wait staff has always been consistently professional.“

“*UPDATE* We relocated to Wisconsin and every time one of flys home a Mr. G's from here is an absolute must. My wife just brought me back a Mr. G's (she did it right and got everything on the side that wasn't meat and cheese) and it was still the best Sandwhich I've ever had. It's truly that good. Their dressing is a masterpiece. Their pickles must be hand delivered from heaven. EVERYTHING about this Sandwhich is next level. There truly is nothing else like it!“

“Cozy, classic Italian dinner!!!

I ordered the Spaghetti Carbonara and the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo and really enjoyed both. The carbonara was creamy and flavorful without feeling too heavy, which I loved. Total comfort food!

The Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo was also really tasty! The pasta was cooked perfectly, chicken was tender, and the sauce wasn’t overly thick or greasy.

Everything tasted fresh and absolutely satisfying.

“A friend and I had dinner here on a whim; it was difficult to get a reservation on the same day, but a bit of persistence prevailed in the end. I would still recommend booking ahead. The counter layout is interesting and would work best for smaller groups. The food was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. It seems the menu changes fairly often so I won't describe the food specifically, but we liked everything we ordered.“

Service was quick with zero wait time, though the cashier wasn't overly friendly. I'd definitely come back again for the Alfredo!“

“If you’re anywhere near Santa Monica and craving AMAZING pizza, this place is an absolute must. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel so welcome, the vibes are always warm, friendly, and cozy. It’s the kind of pizza parlor that instantly feels like your go-to spot.

My personal favorites are the Spicy Bear and the Bianco pizzas… both are insanely delicious and packed with flavor. And don’t even get me started on the spicy BBQ wings, the PERFECT balance of sweet and spicy. I literally crave them all the time.

“Their famous Chicken Mattone was not edible. It was beyond dry, and I even talked to the waitress about that before ordering it--she said she would make sure it wasn't dry. However, they handled it well--took it off the bill and comped two glasses of wine. The pizza was good, but the pasta and meatballs were a bit bland. Stick with the salads and sandwiches.“

It was 2am & We had never tried this place before. I was so surprised at how high-quality it was my husband and my son also loved it.
These are hands-down, the best meatballs in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills!!!
Believe me, I have tried meatballs, everywhere and 99% of the time I’m disappointed. I am so happy that I found these meatballs! The Alfredo sauce was creamy and on par with some of the best I’ve ever had and the Caprese salad was fresh.!
I just read someone else’s review who claimed that the meatballs were frozen… That person obviously doesn’t know the difference between fresh meatballs, and frozen Because these were definitely FRESH“
