“The Torigara shoyu seems like a new item in their offering. At $14 it is one of the best value ramen around. It was light, yet so flavorful. The thin noodles works really well with it, it was firm , tasted fresh and it has such a good satisfying flavor to it that only crazy ramen aficionados like me can appreciate . It will be one of my regular orders from now on.
One good change is they now offer extra noodles for $3. For the longest time they did not offer that option to my disappointment before . Thank you! :)
The kaarage rice bowl to me was decent. Most will find it good. I just did not find that particular uber crunchy texture I was looking for in a kaarage. I will skip it from my order next time.
Btw they do not close at 2:30pm anymore. I was rushing to chase the pm closing time. Thank god!
As for parking, Culver is usually pretty hellish for parking. Fortunately, there is a 1hr free parking at the Trader Joe’s bldg nearby. Perfect to squeeze in grocery run after lunch.
One more thing. I was not fan of their dumplings.
But you can’t go wrong with all their light yuzu ramen offerings!“

“I got the 6 handroll set which was really good value. All of the included handroll options were good. I ordered the handrolls as spicy, but none tasted a hint of spicy at all. I wished the service was a little slow, but I came at the end of their lunch hours and only one chef was working.
I would definitely come here again and try their special handrolls.“

“I’ve been to Orochon, Daikokuya, Killer Noodle, many other Ramen spots in LA; Nishi is by far the best I’ve had! The broth is extremely flavorful and the Spicy Miso bowl has a great kick to it.Highly recommend, owner was trained by the HiroNori founders. Probably something there that has to do with it.“

“This is a great local spot for delicious sushi.
They have great happy hour and lunch specials with a great portion.
We ate about 5 rolls; karrage; edamame and it was enough for 3 people. I wasn’t a fan of the albacore dish. Otherwise, everything else was great.
I will absolutely be back here when in the area“

“Soo tasty! I loved the OG Ahi Tuna. So fresh and the sauce on top was really good. Although I got my food to go, I’d eat there with the beer taps and all!“

“Outstanding Service and Fresh Sushi!
We’ve been loyal patrons of Uzumaki for years, and even though we’ve moved away from Culver City, we still make the occasional drive back just to enjoy their delicious offerings. The Uzumaki Plus set meal is a standout favorite, always fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend!“
