“Leona's was AMAZING. The food was such a fun experience and every dish felt like a surprise! Our waitress (if only I could remember her name) was so nice and helpful when it came to navigating the menu, the bartender even noticed she was busy and took our drink orders, and the food runners made it extra special by singing happy birthday to my husband hahahaha thank you everyone. 100/10 will come here for every date night.“
“Very pleasant little place. Portions were not as big as some places, and the prices reflect. This is a good thing. The Kale noodles were really good. I was not expecting that. I veered from my usual pork based broth to a chicken and maybe that wasn’t the best idea but over all I was very “
“I've been to many sushi restaurants/bars in the valley. Asanebo from my experience is hands down the best sushi you can get. The service is immaculate, the best I've ever had at a sushi spot. I wouldn't be able to tell you something bad I've had there. Been going for a while now and everything is great.“
“The location is small so there wasn't alot of space for parking. I went ahead and used the valet service they had. The inside of the restaurant was small and felt a bit cramped. (If you are claustrophobic, be careful) of course there were spaces to move around but it will be difficult for others. The food was decent but oof pricey. My favorite was the bluefin tuna Trio. For the price of the dish, I understand since it tasted pretty fresh and the presentation was visible. I tried sea urchin for the first time here and I guess I can't say too much about it other than it being very very strong in ocean flavor. The service was great! I was well taken care of by our amazing waiter.“
“Amazing!I had the avocado cucumber roll. My husband had the dragon roll (Decorated like an actual dragon! Omg! Art! He wouldn't let me take a pic!) and futomaki roll. The service was polite and informed and quick. No wait for a table on a Saturday night!Delicious. Must try!Wonderful beer and alcohol selection. We had three beers.Loved the music and ambiance. It was quiet and comfortable/cozy after a long day.Thank you for the lovely meal .“
“The service is impeccable. The food is delicious! Such a big menu for such a little place. Great traditional Japanese comfort foods! Plus, it has an amazing choice of sashimi, rice bowls, udon bowls, and poke bowls. If you're a lover of all things Japanese, this is a must try! I highly recommend Daichan!“
“I was so lucky to try out a few dishes. The server was very polite and understood I was celiac. So he helped me decide what to order. It’s difficult as it is plus asking a chef to accommodate my order. They did a wonderful job. The food was so good!!!Would come back anytime. My husband loved the fried sushi and sister ordered beef teriyaki.“
“The sushi and ramen were great and the server was fantastic. Our kids use chopsticks all the time but dropped like 4 and he was there with fresh ones in seconds. Kind of an odd sports bar vibe with lots of live sports tv's without being too loud or boisterous.“
“I’m not a fan of sushi, but the food in this restaurant was really great. Went here with a friend of a friend who knows the place and we eat what he considered that is best. We shared around 5-6 different sushi and all were delicious. The restaurant is on this location from 1975.“
“KazuNori is a great example of a consistent chain where I know I'm gonna get the same quality product at any of their locations. The Studio City one is my personal favorite (excluding parking - it's rough). The times I've been there: customer service was excellent, food arrived quick, and the seasoning on their sushi rice was extra tasty.“
“Wow, everything that we picked was delicious! I had a coworker recommend them, and it was definitely worth the visit. The service from the staff was excellent!! Totally worth it!! I wish I took pictures. I will next time.Kid-friendliness: Staff were very friendly with the kids.“
“delicious!!! food was absolutely amazing and priced so well. my favorite was the popcorn cut roll. the fried shrimp on top was insane! crispy rice is another must. the service here was the real star. although the sushi was some of the best, the service alone made this experience unforgettable. from the chefs to the servers and hosts, i have not been to a restaurant with this amazing of service in a while. from doors being opened for me to the check being split with ease, i was in awe of how sweet everyone was here!!!! this place is a must try!“
“Stopped by this location with a friend on Friday night & was seated immediately. This location is seriously a hidden gem as there wasn't much of a crowd. The hand rolls were good portion size and they offered various rolls along with appetizers. The food was amazing. Highly recommend the H.Y.E roll. You can't go wrong.“
“Ambiance and service here were good. The food js also good. Although the ramen places at Sawtelle are much tastier, this place is still decent if you are craving for ramen and don’t want to make a long drive to Sawtelle. Although this place has a long waitlist, its still worth to give it a “
“Very soothing place to dine at. Chefs are amazing at what they do . So far, I haven't found a dish that disliked. Would recommend making a reservation, although walk-ins are welcome sometimes with a wait time.Parking: 25 Parking spots or so .“
“Welcome to the hidden gem of Japanese dining in Los Angeles. It's family owned and operated, has been open for decades and its master chef was trained in Kyoto. These chefs get top picks at the fish market and it shows. Iroha has a massive menu featuring many cooked dishes. There's something for everyone here--I'm looking at you, vegans :)“
“This is a hidden gem in Studio City. Kazu has been here for years, running this under-the-radar sushi spot. Where the ambiance might be lacking (no music, simple decor), the sushi makes up for it. The omakase is incredible and every a la carte menu item is spot on. Best kept secret in the valley, go here!“
“As usual it slaps! Fantastic service and good food. The quality is always fantastic. The one thing that was a bit off this time compared to the other times I've been has been the fact that the fish didn't seem to be timed out well, and it would arrive out of sink with my friends food. And we ordered the same lite box. Otherwise -- I love it and this has been my tenth time back so I'm obviously a fan!“
“This place is great for lunch I haven't been there in quite a while. Free parking underneath or in the back of the building. They have a lunch special that was good where you get a nice tuna salad, five pieces of sushi miso soup. I'll be back“
“We love this place. We have been to many many sushi places in LA, and this is on the top of our list. Most of the items we ordered were delicious. Oh did I mention their sushi rice was served warm? This is a huge plus because the warm rice gives you the contrast of temperature and the layer of taste makes the sushi taste much better.Only one thing I don’t recommend: the real crab hand roll had too much mayo sauce and you can barely taste the crab.Must get:Black cod (this is a rare find)HalibutBlack snapperEel mascal pone (melt in your mouth)Toro handrollKanpachiSalmonOctopusWe spent $200 for two. It is not cheap. But honestly you get what you pay for. You can’t compare the quality for when you spend $50/person on sushi.Anyways. We will for sure come back. :)“
