“Visited this nice family owned restaurant after a visit to a theme park, and the staff was so welcoming the prices are decent and the quality of food was amazing! I have zero complaints. The owner gifted my kids Halloween candy and also a box of chocolate sticks! I was so surprised to see such treatment and filled my kids bellies out! Recommend this place 110%“
“Great hole in the wall sushi spot in Burbank! All the sushi & sashimi we had was delicious. Hamachi Kama was wonderful too - meaty & flavorful! Was on the pricey side of what we usually like to spend but a nice treat! That said, we did have a few sakes which added up to the total…“
“Nothing Better than this... Family business, Authentic food, and most important Amazing Service. Born & raised in LA and spent years going to the four corners of the valley in search of the God Tier Sushi spot. For a while I felt like Thanos in search of the infinity stones, but instead of finding one stone I found the infinity gauntlet. So now as Thanos said "I can finally rest and watch the sun rise on a grateful universe." In non-nerd terms stop wasting time and money on hit-or-miss spots, Tatsu is worth the time and money!“
“This place is located in the open mall across street from AMC.Their service is outstanding, the staff are very friendly and attentive too. With the food quality matches the price as well, especially nowadays the inflation so high, you won't be able to find other sushi place with that decent price. My favorite is the blue crab hand roll wrapped in the soy paper. I can eat at least 3 of them.Other sushi rolls are good as well.Worth the try guys.“

“Great quality fish. Lots of choices, they had a special menu with a salmon dragon roll. It had salmon on the outside and the inside for $20 a roll. They have the price on the menu for some reason. We ordered two of them. The OMG roll was also very good. I enjoy this spot it is small and cozy. Originally, I found this place because it said they had beer on draft, but they do not. They do have large bottles of beer, though.Parking: The parking lot is very small. There is a liquor store and a laundromat in the same parking lot. Some spots are a little tight.“
“I have been coming here with friends for several years and always enjoyed the staff and the service. The staff are very kind and attentive, and make sure that you were well tended to.The meals are always delicious and the tea is always served piping hot. I really love their Happy Hour roll selection that’s available for dine in only.I hope that this restaurant can continue to thrive and survive in the many years to come.?“
“I say yes! My only gripe was the 12 to 15 minute wait when half the restaurant was empty. Not sure what was going on there for a Saturday afternoon around 4:00 p.m. maybe the entire staff hadn't yet arrived yet?Anyways, once we were seated, the menu is pretty straightforward. I do like the fact that there are photos of the items. The sushi photos looked great! But I was here on a mission to get ramen.Apr 2024. $16 Kuro Mayo was delicious. 16 ounces size. It's a big bowl. I was expecting a little more of the sliced pork, or at least a thicker cut of it. But the insanely complex and multi-layer and level broth completely left me speechless. The flavor is deep! There's so many things going on. First you get a bone broth kind of vibe, and as you continue to eat it, you start noticing the subtleties like a little fermentation, or funkiness, more earthiness, more of that deep umami. It's a pork broth, unlike anything I've tasted in a long time. Our waiter was great! I do like the fact that even the other waitress and waiter were checking in on us as well. It was a group effort. If you're in the area, I highly recommend this place for family, larger small groups, tourists, office workers, and especially people who like take out. There are several tables outside across the street that are first come first serve if you decide to get your stuff to go, and eat nearby. The City of Burbank is pretty good about keeping those areas clean and clear. Just make sure to tidy up after yourself. One thing I don't like about the atmosphere is that it's way too dark inside. I think just boosting the light level by 30% would help a lot.One thing I would like to see is maybe some sushi bundles, or at least sushi roll bundles. The photos of the sushi look great, but I'm afraid the pricing might be a little too rich for my blood. That's why I'm just sticking with the ramen for now. There's so much Sushi competition up and down the block, so just saying.Parking: street only. San Fernando has a 90-minute limit per space. Be careful, some spots or 10 minute only. There are two free structures closer to Orange Grove that are Unlimited for about 22 hours. No parking 3am-5am. So if you have to leave your car there overnight, fair warning that you might get ticketed and towed.“
“Okay, I popped into this place just before I left LA to temporarily relocate to NYC. I had just seen “One Love” - which I highly recommend seeing - and decided to extend my self-date into dinner. O’ and what a tremendous treat it was!For any future million-dollar trivia question, I love sushi like Kel loves orange soda - a special shoutout to those who understand the reference - okay? Suffice it to say, I was fully prepared to go the distance and indulge to my heart’s delight I’m worthy and deserving. But I digress.First I had a HOT SAKE along with the APPETIZER SPECIAL: RED SNAPPER. Topped with Tobiko, Yuzu Citrus, Red Onion & Herb. The flavors blended so well and the slight tang of the yuzu citrus pleasantly complimented the bold taste of the red snapper. Then I had the OCTOPUS SALAD, which accidentally ended up being the Cucumber Salad topped with the Octopus. I didn’t mind at all because it all paired very well, the cucumber marinated in rice vinegar. The big order was the OCTOPUS CHEF’S SPECIAL PLATE, which came with Sashimi, Sushi, a Spicy Tuna Hand Roll and Roe Bowl. It was SO DELICIOUS and SO FILLING, I really tried to finish it all. Alas, I had to bow out and humbly accept where I ended before total defeat. I didn’t even get to order desert! Next time…Speaking of next time, if you happen to be in the area and pop in, tell them that Donny recommended. When I’m back in LA and I happen to scurry over there myself, be sure to say heylo and let me know what you’re having. ?“
“Wonderful little hole in the wall in a large corner mall. I didn't have any expectation, just went with friends after a hike, and what a wonderful surprise! We had the sashimi platters, the fish was perfectly cut, fresh and melted in your mouth. The k4 rolls is a perfect blend of different flavors, looks as good in the plate as it taste, other rolls were as fresh and perfectly prepared. Loved every bite. Service is attentive and friendly. Decor is simple, modern and confortable. We'll be back for more!“
“Dude, this place has been around forever! I want to say they have extended the restaurant. Wonder if Yelp caps a place? Oldest post seemed to be 3 years ago but like I said they’ve been here for more than 20 years – probably changed hands a few times but nice to know they made it through the Pandemic with outdoor seating!Came during lunch, Carl was our server, he was very attentive to our needs, to be fair we were the only ones there but he and Raymond were nice to check in every so often… a few tables were taken after 10 mins.Ordered LS (Lunch Special)Fujiya Deluxe with the rainbow roll; 5pcs nigiri (salmon, tuna, seared albacore, yellow tail and seared tuna) it was a nice touch of omokase when the chef added eel instead! Also, comes with miso soup andhouse salad 5/5 – Great flavor, fish was very fresh. Tried two of the nigri’s without soy and it was so flavorful!Shrimp and veggie tempura bento box – served with rice, miso soup and house salad 5/5 – Great portion, tempura came out hot and crispy! Miso soup and house salad delish! They do offer a palm deluxe but for another $3 for an upgrade you actually get premium rolls which is worth it!“

“I've been coming to this place for many years and the service was and continues to be great. I love the chicken bowl. It's really tasty and tbh you get a lot of food for your buck. I have nothing but good things to say about this place!“
“Great service. I was at a convention at the LA Marriot Burbank airport and afterwards, my friends wanted to eat somewhere walking distance. This came up as an option, and we all walked over. It was near closing (which I didn't realize until later), but they didn't treat us any differently, and they didn't rush us at all. Even at the end, when they were closed, they let me use the bathroom right before we left.I'm not sure if it's because it was near closing or not, or they always do this, but we ordered multiple of the Family Packs so that all of us would have enough food. The portion sizes were large and I'm pretty sure they gave us a lot of extra rice. They even let us eat there, even though these are typically take-out orders only. The Potstickers were good, and it seemed like everyone liked them. The chicken and veggies were alright. They had a nice variety of chicken and veggies included. The California roll was just okay. Most people in my group didn't eat these.“
“The food here is great. We order the bbq chicken and it has never been a disappointment. Always sizzling hot ( it comes out sizzling on a cast iron dish), and many different spicy levels. The old lady working is accommodating to our young children and committed to our experience being good. We will all keep eating here until the sodium kills us.“
“Just passed by to update the menu for April 2024.The real value here is the Omakase B Menu, the $6 happy hour rolls and the $5 sushi add ons. Put all that on 1 tab, and 2 -3 people can eat comfortably.Atmosphere... 4 stars. Very dark inside, even 2 hours before sunset.Otherwise, for what you're getting and the price you're paying, I think it's worth it.“
“We waited 2 hours to at least get seats and we weren't that big of group. It was worth my time, the best ramen I have tasted Great ramen and great service amazing staff amazing restaurant it is spot less and very well maintained. I have tried many ramen restaurants but this was some different level of ramen“
“First time trying this place and I have to say, I really liked it. All the seafood was fresh and tasty. They have a choice of making your own bowl and choosing their signature bowl. I got spicy mayo and ponzu lime and it was a great combination. I wish they added more sauce though. They have vegan option as well. Great place and great service!“
“Ended up working right in front of this place and I noticed it was really busy ESpecially @lun CH tyme.I ended up ordering for me and my CO woRkeR .I got a bowl w CHiken & Rice veggiES,MY CO worker got fri ES, overall it was a good ES tablishment and i would rec CO mend this place to eat plus its on the healthy side ?.“
“Finally got a chance to try this out since had my eye on it since it opened in the neighborhood. The restaurant is on the smaller side and has about 15 tables total so definitely have a bit of patience if going right at dinner time. They only take reservations for parties over 5. If you go at non-peak times, should be able to get seated right away. The host and servers were friendly and constantly came by to clear plates as they were finished and refill drinks. Food wise, you can order a la carte or from 2 levels of AYCE. We went for the premium AYCE and enjoyed it after leaving stuffed and wagyu oozing from our pores. The meat quality was excellent and while each plate was only 4-7 slices, you can just keep ordering if you can handle all the rich and fatty meats. The carpaccios and other appetizers were good and you can order 1/2 size of many dishes so you don't overstuff yourself. So while the price ($75), for premium is definitely up there, it is fair for the quality of the meats and other options. You have a 90 min. limit so be mindful of that as the food does not come out as quickly when the restaurant is full. Overall, something to splurge on once in a while and if you're looking for premium meats. Friendly tip- wear clothes you don't mind smelling like bbq/smoke as their exhaust system could use some improvement as you can visibly see the smoke later in the night when busy as the exhaust at each table is lacking in effectiveness.“
