“I’m so gobsmacked at how amazing this food is that I’m writing a review while I’m still here.
We had 5 nigiri sushi rolls, the crispy spicy tuna appetizer, and the wagyu sliders. It was the most incredible meal I’ve ever had. You must come here - the server we had (Umida) was insanely amazing and super helpful - she really elevated the experience and made sure we didn’t order too much food!“

“I really love this place! Cocktails menu is amazing, the Lychee Mojito 10/10, always a must for me.
Place was packed, of course it was a Friday night and the Lakers were playing, I recommend making s reservation.
Despite how busy the place was, out server David took care of us, great service and delicious food!“

“First thing first, the sushi is really fresh. We got the toro, salmon belly, and the yellowtail belly. Saba is a little fishy. The rice is a bit mushy but good enough.

The cooked food is not as great. The agedashi tofu has too much breading and taste average. Kaiju tar tar is okayyy.

The service however took forever, and they never come to check up on us. Servers reach over to get dishes for other tables. Maybe they are short staffed but they should still handle us probably.“

“Fresh, healthy food w generous portions. I had the hana salad w chicken and the iced matcha cloud latte. The salad was fresh and their sauce/condiment bar made it extra tasty. The matcha was super yummy, on par or better with any specialty coffee/tea place. The Okinawa sugar made it elevated, though I ordered it less sweet. Will def be back!“

“This place is literally my favorite place to get chicken teriyaki out of any place. Including “fancy” sit downs, take out, literally just any place… the way the chicken tastes here is unbeatable and the price is amazing too. Could eat this place everyday and be happy.

“I love Kinza. It’s a cute but no pretension type of sushi spot! Their rolls come with 10 pieces (not 8) AND you can order half size rolls even for their specialty rolls which is INCREDIBLE. Very fresh, flavorful, lots of good combos, and service is excellent.

If you can’t find parking on the street, park in the alley behind the restaurant!“

“Had an amazing experience at Shiso Sushi Sherman Oaks The sushi was extremely fresh, high quality, and beautifully prepared. You can really taste the quality of the fish in every bite.

The service was friendly, professional, and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was clean and relaxing. Everything we ordered came out fresh and delicious.

“So, my girlfriend and I hit up Zen Toro for her birthday, and let me tell you, it was fantastic. That edamame with the soy glaze? We were practically licking our fingers. The rolls were fresh, and we kept looking at each other after each bite like, “Yep, that’s good.” And the shishito peppers? Just the right amount of char and that sauce had us dipping them like there was no tomorrow. We enjoyed it so much that we’re already talking about when we’ll be back. It’s definitely a new favorite.“

“I genuinely don’t understand why this place doesn’t have more stars. I absolutely loved my food. Everything was so flavorful and fresh.

I ordered the large chicken breast plate with fried rice and it was honestly perfect. The chicken breast was cooked just right, juicy and tender, not dry at all. The vegetables were seasoned really well and the fried rice was one of the best I’ve had in a long time.

Even my mom, who is an extremely picky eater and usually prefers home cooked meals, loved it. That alone says a lot.

On top of that, the price point is great for the portion size and quality. Definitely worth it. I’ll be back.“

“This place was great. The food was pretty good. The service was really friendly. I had a teriyaki bowl and a thai iced teas. Both were good. It was pretty quiet. No music. No TV. I liked it. Cute place. Food took around 15-20 minutes to be prepared as I think there were quite a few orders ahead of me. I stopped in here while my tires were getting fixed over at American Tire Depot. I would come again. There were 4 tables inside and it seemed like most people ordered pickup or to go while I was here.“

“Waiter (newer, cornfed white dude) stared us down whenever we finished a plate or paid to checkout. Gave us a funny look when my guest tipped the sushi chef. Made the in-between rounds a bit awkward. But his attention to detail and customer service is definitely worth noting. He just needs to give some time to the diners :)

otherwise, for $50pp, not bad quality for ayce sushi. nigiri, sashimi, carpaccio were thin and thick in all the right spots. Roll sushi was just average, unless it was dressed (as in their baked oyster and lobster rolls). Dressed rolls were amazing“

“Delicious. Got the filet mignon and shrimp as well as the filet mignon and lobster. Both were delicious but lobster is small so I probably won’t get that again. Scallops are also great would recommend. A little expensive but great flavor. Large portions definitely leftovers“
