Had an amazing experience at Shiso Sushi Sherman Oaks The sushi was extremely fresh, high quality, and beautifully prepared. You can really taste the quality of the fish in every bite.

Shiso Sushi is a new, casual sushi spot in Sherman Oaks. The atmosphere is not fancy but cute and casual, making it suitable for a date night or solo dining. The sushi chef, who is from Japan, takes great pride in his work, preparing amazing and fresh sushi. The fish is consistently described as fresh, delicious, buttery smooth, and of solid quality. Specific standout dishes include the Alaskan Roll, Crunch Roll, yuzu roll, Yuzu Kampachi, toro steak, Oh My Goodness Roll, and the I Love Salmon Roll. The staff is incredibly nice, friendly, welcoming, and lovely, providing quick and wonderful service. The happy hour deal is also noted. Many reviewers state it is the best new sushi spot, highly recommend it, and plan to return.
