“First time going. Went for a late lunch. Staff was very friendly & the food came out fast. This has an elevated or more modern vibe compared to other "traditional" Mexican restaurants with familiar menu items (tacos, chips&guac, street corn) but several premium items (tomahawk steak, lobster bomba rice) or unique options (jimca salad, shrimp chile) as well. I like the small plates and tacos but also appreciate the large plates for dinner. They also have mocktails which are fantastic- we had spicy passionfruit. Wel will ne neck amd the atmosphere is lively from watching sports to a date night.”

“First I want to say that the customer service was on point! I felt welcomed and heard which is a big deal. I don't eat meat - just fish and when I told the guy making my food that, he was so nice about changing his gloves and taking the precautions that made me feel comfortable. That's a big deal for me because there are places that are very rude and take offense to me addressing their cross contamination practices. Anyway for the food, my wrap was so delicious! It tasted fresh and had a lot of veggies which I appreciate. It also came with some garlic fries which I wasn't expecting and they were bomb! I got a wrap and fries for $13 bucks smh that's unheard of this day and time AND it was delicious and fresh... I will definitely be back!! Only thing I wish I had was some spicy tahini sauce to pour on my wrap, that would have been a game changer forreal.”

He made a special children's portion for my granddaughter who is now 10. Vladdy (sp) was so happy to see us again that he gave us the regular spumoni and an extra piece to take home. I showed him the previous review and he was happy that I took the time to write it. The chicken parmigiana and meatballs and spaghetti were also delicious. “MY FAVORITE LA BAR!!! My review is loooong overdue as I've been coming here for years. I've moved further South on Ventura but I still manage to come to what I feel is my home in bar form. I'm a woman who loves mixology and good bartending and most bars are extremely male centric. TLP is great for women and men. It wouldn't surprise me that many women love this bar. You will hear everyone mention "the feel" of the bar and it's because they seem to consistently hire AMAZING BAR AND WAIT STAFF. Kudos to management for keeping such excellent consistency. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME..I come to the bar I sit at the bar and get an INCREDIBLE convo from the bartenders. They always serve me the most fantastic drinks and make me feel like a FUGGIN QUEEN. I love them so much for this. They manage people well and that's hard to come by. Even if I've had a bad day they seem to always say the thing that lifts my spirits -- it's wild. I was more than pleasantly surprised to find this gem in my neck of the woods, and am happy to report that Mardi Gras Tuesday will be my go-to Cajun/Creole joint for the foreseeable future. Mind you, I'm no expert on the cuisine, but I've been a fan for a long time and can happily endorse the Étouffée (crawfish), the Jambalaya, the Mac and Cheese, hushpuppies, and the friendly service at Mardi Gras Tuesday. *Though the cornbread didn't necessarily wow me, all and all, it was a great meal for the portions, price and quality. And considering they got slammed as soon as we walked in (around the start of the Super Bowl), the service was quick and we were in and out of there with bellies full of comfort food within an hour. Can't wait to go back!”

“Super delicious Omakase experience! I'd definitely like to go back on a week night for a few rolls. We did a double date here the other night and there was a mixup with our order and we waited a long time but they made it right. I definitely recommend the Omakase experience! My favorite was the nigiri and sashimi. Super fresh and all the details on top of the fish were delicious. Creamy caviar at one point ! This place is in a busy area, so parking is hard, get there early! I appreciate the upscale vibe in the midst of a lot of restaurants, its stands apart!”

“We enjoy the martinis and the garlic bread at the Valley Inn We are greeted like family although they are packed on a Say evening at 6:30. Today we really went to town and had hamburgers fries and onion rings, and  all delicious! Two weeks ago I had a  terrific New York steak. My partner had the usual ribs. We did notice that they cut back the portions on the ribs. That means we have nothing to take home ha ha.”

“I love Italian food and this place did not disappoint. I entered the restaurant thru the back, where they have very limited parking. There's more parking across the street. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with all the wonderful smells of Italian cuisine. I personally love the pesto gnocchi. I also recommend having their lemon drop martini. It hits just the right spot after a long work week. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Very attentive and can definitely recommend something that you will absolutely love. I will be back with friends and family. I found a new spot that I can't wait to tell everyone about.”

“I love getting their food after school because it’s close by and there’s a bunch of options that I like a lot. I like their sandwich the most because the sauce they put in it tastes really good with the chicken, and their place is close by in the LA area so I don’t have to drive out too far to get a good meal.Kid-friendliness: I go with my little brother sometimes when I pick him up afterschool and the workers are so kind and there’s non-spicy options for the food that me and my lil brother can enjoy :D great place and great service too”

“Fantastic food in a busy but fun atmosphere.We have been coming to this restaurant since it opened at this location. The food is fantastic, there is plenty of free parking in the lot behind and usually room to be seated. Friendly staff.The only downside I have noticed over the past few years is that orders can take quite a bit longer than they used to. It's not uncommon to have a 20 to 30 minute wait once food is ordered which can be a bummer with hungry kids.”

“Beautiful little place with amazing fresh homemade pasta!! Our server was excellent and so charismatic. The ricotta pistachio cake is sent over from Italy and is the best cake I have ever had. “I will start off by saying...Denny's has not been the same for me for a little under 20 years. Most of the Denny's locations I have been to have always left me with regret on even going to eat at one. Most Denny's locations aren't the greatest esthetically and the atmosphere in any restuarant is a huge part of the dinning experience. Now, I only stopped at this specific Denny's location to use the restroom. Traffic was horrible as usual when you're commuting in the 405, and we all know how horribly hard it is to find a restroom...especially one that you can drop the numbers and not feel dirty after. Like all locations in the city, you normally have to be a customer to use the restroom...so of course I ordered a meal. When I got seated it was quick and I immediately asked for a decaf coffee and briskly walked to the restroom. When I returned the waitress brought me my decaf beverage and I could tell she was kind enough to wait until I returned which I appreciated. After my restroom emergency was handled and I sat down. I was able to norice my surroundings. Normally, all the Denny's locations I have been to in the past 20 years have looked terrible and are pretty dirty. This location is actually pretty nice and quaint, and fairly clean. After I had some time to look at the menu the waitress came right when I closed it and set it aside. She nicely took my order and I didn't feel rushed at all. The waitresses name was Gabriela, and if anyone in management at this location reads this...just know, Gabriela made me want to come back in the future. I ordered the multi grain pancake meal. I got the eggs over medium and coupled it with sausage and bacon. When I've ordered this meal at other locations it typically never looks like the picture, and not in a good way. When my food came it actually looked good, and I was pretty amazed th as t it looked edible. I just wanna say this before I continue. I had a protein shake before I got on the road to start my commute home, so keep in mond I was not hungry. The Denny's I have been to in the past always had flavorless hash brown and eggs, and the pancakes were always hard to eat because the flavor was not there. Oh, and the sausage and bacon were always burnt and cold. I can say I have been disappointed with restaurant pancakes for half my life and especially at Denny's. Today I was surprised! The food had flavor, wasn't cold, and the pancakes were very good. I don't know what the cook is doing in the back, but he made some good food today.For all you out there...I would say you should come to this Denny's if you are in the area, but normally when any restuarant becomes well known, even a chain restuarant, people go and food quality goes down.Sooo...I'm not going to say if your in the area and craving Denny's to stop by at this location. However, if you have a bathroom emergency and need somewhere "to go". Just know you won't be wasting your money as a customer at this Denny's location.”

“What can I say? Those late night lonely hours when no one else was open you were. You saved me nights that I was starving and needed you. Consistency was the key and you were always consistent. What else can you expect on those late night 1,2,3 am hours ? Some nights you made me wait longer than I wanted, longer than I thought I could but you still fulfilled my needs. To say that this Taco Bell has been there for me in my late night time of needs is an understatement. I think we lack appreciation for a place like this being open as late as they are. I think waiting in line for 30 minutes on a Saturday night takes a toll on you... but a Tuesday night 10:30 you make it up with that 5 minute line and food. Thank you Taco Bell for being there late night. Make sure you guys order a side of red sauce with your order. Other than that. Cheese quesadilla, add beans, add green sauce, add sour cream. Thank me later.”

“I recently went here for a date night out and was blown away by the friendliness of everyone who worked there. Everyone was so helpful and kind. They gave us recommendations based on flavors they thought we would like and even got us to experiment with new flavors (the balsamic and strawberry). The ice cream was delicious and creamy and the customer service was out of this world! I will definitely be coming back!!! Sonny's has it right!!”

I got the cold brew but didn't like it much, it was a bit too acidic for my taste. Will try other things next time I'm here. “I've been coming here for years, I can't believe I haven't written a review! I love their food. My favorite item to order is their mung bean pad thai, although I wish there was an option to get it with soy chicken or beef and not just tofu skewers. The tofu cubes are huge so the flavor doesn't really penetrate them. I like this dish because the noodles and veggies are flavorful. My family also enjoys cashew nut lover dish and the buddha rolls. Those are so filling, I can just get those and be happy. If you like thai tea, you must try it here. So good. One star off because parking is difficult, especially on weekends, and it's a little pricy for me. The good thing is that inflation has led to all restaurants raising their prices in the last couple of years, so I am more used to it and not as bothered as I used to be . Note: the seats are incredibly uncomfortable so if you dine in and have back issues like me, bring a cushion.”

Takoyaki was one of the best I've eaten. The portion is also generous and there were definitely big chunks of Tako inside the balls. Presentation was very pretty too. However my lemon roll was not as good as the other dishes. The spicy tuna was overly spicy and it took away the flavor of the entire dish. The size surprised me positively though, it was much bigger than rolls in other places. The fish was fresh and the proportion with rice was good too. I would definitely come back.”

“Last week I was searching for a Mediterranean restaurant that had good food but also doesn't take too long for my food to be ready. I got the beef kabob and fries with pita bread. The interior makes you feel like your in a garden outside If you could not see the building next door you would feel like your in the country We had excellent service and the food was very good I had two chicken kabobs on a salad it was moist. When you just look at the price, it seems a bit expensive, but the quantity is well worth it. I ordered a medium bowl and it was more than satiating. Found myself full with an awkward amount left, so I finished the entire plate. I was wrestling with food coma for the next few hours. Quality of each ingredient is pretty solid. I don't think I experienced anything bad while eating the food. The only reason I took off a star is due to the environment. The interior seems a bit run down and I would not want to eat inside there again. It seemed gloomy and not a place to stay. “We are really impressed with this establishment. Very beautiful decor and comfortable chairs and booths. But the food is just divine. This time we started with the ceviche, which comes with scallops and shrimp but we went for just all shrimp, and it was very very good. On a lovely bed of avocado onion mash. Then he had the braised Carnitas and said that they were excellent. I had the chicken enchiladas with extra beans and all the food here every time we've eaten is very flavorful and satisfying. Very decent wine selection as well. It was busier than usual, which was very nice to see. We hope to come here and watch some of the Thursday night football games on prime but they don't have prime so hopefully next year they will incorporate that. Will be back!”

“A Marmalade Cafe in the Valley! I don't know if I have been living under a rock for years or what but much to my surprise I discovered a new location... well new to me at least! I had only ever known of the Marmalade Cafe by the Grove before stumbling upon this location recently. And since I am a huge breakfast buff, anywhere I can find a good breakfast at a reasonable price is a win in my book. Parking around Marmalade Cafe can be a bit tricky during busy times because there are so many other businesses around it. If you can't find a meter on a nearby street you can go a bit deeper into the neighborhoods and you shouldn't have a problem. Since we are in Southern California, it's always nice to sit outside and Marmalade Cafe has an abundance of outdoor dining. I couldn't believe how large the area was behind the restaurant. There are tons of tables so this could even be a good spot for a larger party or gathering. One thing I think can be improved is the space itself. It is not the most inviting space. There is so much room back there that it could be really cute but it is pretty basic and not the place you might want to spend a cute weekend brunch. It was pretty slow when we went last weekend as it was late for breakfast but early for lunch. Because of this, the service was very attentive, which I appreciated. I got my go to corned beef hash and it comes topped with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. They pair that with breakfast potatoes and a side of your choice of toast. The only negative I had with my breakfast was that the potatoes had clearly been sitting out for a while as they were a bit hard yet chewy. It wasn't the end of the world though and they still complimented the meal. Fresh potatoes would have been appreciated though. My husband got the chicken caesar salad and loved it but he did have to ask for additional dressing as it was light. Overall I was happy with Marmalade Cafe and will definitely be returning when I'm in the area or when I have a craving for some corned beef hash again!”

The food was great and the customer service was on point. The gentleman that helped charge me for my pickup order was very polite and helpful! As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with all the wonderful smells of Italian cuisine. I personally love the pesto gnocchi. I also recommend having their lemon drop martini. It hits just the right spot after a long work week. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Very attentive and can definitely recommend something that you will absolutely love.
