“Stopped by with my partner recently after a late lunch at Dave's and got a couple of cones with a few toppings each. The ice cream was delicious and the staff was totally friendly and up for questions, they asked if we wanted samples as well which we declined. Their ice cream ice on the pricey side, something around 8 or 9 dollars each, but it was A LOT in a big crunchy waffle cone, as I say often; you get what you pay for.

I do wish they had had pretzel pieces to mix in. Seems like an easy win.

The staff even looked all around when I came back a half hour or so later concerned I dropped my debit card.

If I still had a local one in SLO I would be inclined to stop by after the good experience here.“

“Walking distance from my place in Beverly Grove L.A. and boy am I glad. First found them in Manhattan and was delighted when they opened here. Good old chocolate cake does it for me, tho sometimes I swing vanilla, & the BF loves the Banana Pudding. Gotta say I'm not a fan of their new prepackaged cake slices. I prefer seeing it sliced from the whole cake right before my very eyes the way Mom did it and God intended. The way they have slices now, in stacks of plastic boxes, makes it seem more like you're getting them from a vending machine than an old-time bakery. I guess it makes transactions quicker, but I hope they reconsider.“

Ivory's made it super easy to make sure all dietary needs were covered, and the cupcakes were gorgeous and delicious. Ivory even helped me get them to my car which was much appreciated! “My Mother’s Day (party day) order included 5 dozen mini cupcakes, 2 cakes, and some whoopie pies! I got home and realized my order was missing a dozen red velvet cupcakes. I called the studio city location for a refund on those since I had no time to go back to the bakery before the party (please open a location in Santa Clarita @susiesarich 😂). Instead, they same day delivered my cupcakes PLUS sent additional cookies and Mother’s Day treats for no additional cost to me😭❤️ I was SO amazed by the gracious customer service. I’ve been celebrating with Susie for over a decade and I will never leave- especially now! Thank you Susie and @susiecakesbakery for your delicious treats and valuing your customers so much💗“

“The Marino’s staff did an amazing job on our wedding cake! Not only did it look stunning, but it was absolutely delicious. The staff was very attentive during our consult and was able to create exactly what we asked for. Our nieces were delighted when they learned that the beautiful flower decorations were edible! I absolutely recommend going to Martino’s if you are looking for a beautiful and delicious cake for any event!“

“Julian delivered outstanding customer service during an incredibly busy rush at Cold Stone. Despite a full establishment and a steady stream of customers continuing to come in, he remained completely focused on giving every single person an excellent experience. He worked quickly without ever rushing, making sure each order was done right the first time.

Even with a long line, Julian took his time at the register to ensure accuracy, double-checking orders and even asking if we had a punch card to use, something that could easily be overlooked when working solo under pressure. His professionalism, attention to detail, and calm demeanor stood out and made the experience enjoyable for everyone waiting.

I honestly couldn’t help but feel for him being on his own-he definitely could have used some support but he handled it all with efficiency and a positive attitude.

Boss man, take note and recognize this hardworking employee; dedicated workers like Julian are hard to come by these days.

“I got a bunch of stuff from Delicious Bakery and it is all so good. You can’t go wrong with any of their loaves of bread – they’re all so flavorful and the texture is so much better than anything from the grocery store. It’s light and fluffy, not dense and heavy. The onion rye is a standout. I also got a bunch of sweets and they’re irresistible. I find that Jewish cookies are often dry and crumbly, but that’s not the case with these cookies. They’re all delicious, but my family’s favorites are the cinnamon hearts, apricot and raspberry butter cookies, and the mini linzer tarts, which aren’t overly sweet. The kids also devoured anything with sprinkles, confetti, or mini m&ms on it. There was one more cookie I have to mention: a large marble cookie with a chocolate thumbprint. It wasn’t chewy but it wasn’t crunchy, it was perfectly in between, and the perfect balance of salty and sweet. I highly recommend Delicious Bakery if you’re in the valley, and even if you’re not, it’s probably worth the drive.“

“I guess it’s been over a year since I last came in, according to the timetable that my barista today gave me since the new renovation. However, I don’t think so, it feels like I’ve just been there just a few months ago maybe a year ago if I really had to push it. Anyway, came in this afternoon and had super, super sweet customer service by my barista Jess. Who made a really good flat white. And super sweet conversation as well with Steve the manager and Nathan.
The new interior design is nice, but me personally I preferred and liked the old style. Just seemed more sweet, cozy and welcoming. I said it all the time, customer service to me is on the top of the list of what makes me return to a business. Let alone recommend them or write them good reviews. Today’s interaction with these three employees definitely made me want to return.
Now the Beverly Hills location is my literal neighborhood location, but I wouldn’t mind going out my way to come to this one. My primary reason for stopping by today was picking up a Too Good To Go. Never disappoints lol overall, I am extremely pleased with this location. Highly recommend them for a fantastic cup of coffee, a sweet treat. I know I’ll be back.“
