Definitely the environment felt welcoming and especially the young girl taking control front end with a very positive and well attended to costumers!! When I say I took a bite at the Oreo chocolate slice cake I purchased, wow! Definitely what I was looking for taste and texture from a cake. The cake sponge wasn’t dry nor soggy but texture was at its best touch, the pairing with the frosting wasn’t overwhelming with sweetness but the perfect touch. Avocado toast, truffle melt and cauliflower lavash tacos were so yum!!!! Their cakes are beautiful and delish too, gotta order in advance! Service is always excellent! Limited parking, but can park on the meters.“

“We just placed an order for our wedding cake. Irvine was amazing! He shared his favorites with us and we were able to try different flavors. Honestly, we still had other cake shops to visit, but it was his attentive service that made us decide and place an order on the spot. I can't wait to receive our cake so I can show the pictures. I will say that that every flavor we tried was delicious. We had the marble, vanilla with buttercream, red velvet, and lemon cakes. The place is super clean and very well lit. The cakes look beautiful in their display cases, and the staff look amazing in their pink bandannas. Anyway, Irvine you are a sweet angel and thank you for making our decision simple and our experience fantastic!“

“Walking distance from my place in Beverly Grove L.A. and boy am I glad. First found them in Manhattan and was delighted when they opened here. Good old chocolate cake does it for me, tho sometimes I swing vanilla, & the BF loves the Banana Pudding. Gotta say I'm not a fan of their new prepackaged cake slices. I prefer seeing it sliced from the whole cake right before my very eyes the way Mom did it and God intended. The way they have slices now, in stacks of plastic boxes, makes it seem more like you're getting them from a vending machine than an old-time bakery. I guess it makes transactions quicker, but I hope they reconsider.“
“I visited this bakery with my friend and it was such a chill experience. It's in an inconspicuous spot on Beverly Blvd but once you see it, it's hard to miss. Parking is plenty on the street across from it. Just make sure to check the times for street sweeping. Once inside, they have a little market area on the left where you can purchase snacks and drinks, in the front left is their bakery items and the right is where the food buffet is where you can order combo plates. My friend and I ordered the Rellenitos-mashed plantains stuffed with sweet black beans (make sure to ask for Crema! Sour cream!), Pache-potato tamales with pork, pupusa with pork and cheese, a Concha, and 1 Atol De Elote. The Rellenitos were so yummy! They were fried to perfection with plenty of sweet black beans inside. Adding the sour cream with it added a savory kick which I really enjoyed. Pache-I have never had a potato tamales before so this was a new experience. The texture is very interesting. It kind of reminds me of silken tofu with a grit to it if that makes sense. Smooth but with a bite. The tomato sauce on top was the perfect balance of sweet and sour and I really enjoyed that it wasn't salty at all. It had a good amount of meat inside as well. Pupusa with pork and cheese-this was my favorite! It came with this red sauce and pickled cabbage of sorts and it was the most delicious together! The flavor of the sauce balanced out the cheese and pork and the cabbage added a lovely texture. Concha-sorry for no picture but it was very good. It's smaller than the Mexican concha's that I grew up eating. The bread was not as sweet which I liked and I enjoyed the texture. While chewy, it had a fluffiness to it. Atol De Elote-this drink was at the perfect temperature to enjoy. It had chunks of corn in it as well. The taste reminds me of a corn porridge but less sweet. It's more of dessert drink for me!“

Was impressed with their wide selection and how everything was professionally packaged. Was at my door within 30 minutes of ordering - not bad especially in LA with this traffic!“
