“This is a mocha filled cake. I brought these fresh flowers 1 day before the event. Although, my daughter’s instructions was to include red melted chocolate on this rustic/vintage themed cake but they did NOT. I can see why, it would have taken away from the theme. they have such a great eye in designing and captivating one’s imagination . They delivered the cake on time and the extra flowers were also returned. Definitely, recommend to friends and families!“

“Walking distance from my place in Beverly Grove L.A. and boy am I glad. First found them in Manhattan and was delighted when they opened here. Good old chocolate cake does it for me, tho sometimes I swing vanilla, & the BF loves the Banana Pudding. Gotta say I'm not a fan of their new prepackaged cake slices. I prefer seeing it sliced from the whole cake right before my very eyes the way Mom did it and God intended. The way they have slices now, in stacks of plastic boxes, makes it seem more like you're getting them from a vending machine than an old-time bakery. I guess it makes transactions quicker, but I hope they reconsider.“

This bakery had been on my human’s LA must-visit list forever and it absolutely lived up to the hype. We waited about 30 mins and the Morning Earl Grey Croissant was worth the wait and WOW… I’m still thinking about it. I’d wag my tail all the way back for another.

This place is dog friendly with a great patio and the humans were so welcoming. They also keep things exciting with rotating specialty croissants and fun collaborations, so there’s always a reason to come back.

We actually tried coming back the following Saturday… but the line literally wrapped around the building! I guess everyone else was craving croissants too.

Safe to say this won’t be my last visit. Now excuse me while I convince my human we need to plan trip number three. 🐾🥐💛“

The staff was very attentive during our consult and was able to create exactly what we asked for. Our nieces were delighted when they learned that the beautiful flower decorations were edible! “I absolutely LOVED (!!!!!!!!) my keto and sugar-free cake from Valentine Sweets.

First, the cake was absolutely PERFECT when my friend picked it up. Any minor frosting imperfections in these photos happened a few days later after pickup when it was not eaten right away and are completely my fault.

The cake is sweetened with monk fruit and has no grains. It tasted genuinely delicious, like classic birthday cake from my childhood. As someone on a long gut-healing journey with a lot of dietary restrictions, this felt like a dream come true. Also, no artificial food dye! Swoon!!!!

My friends without dietary restrictions loved it too, so it is not just me saying this. Also truly the prettiest birthday cake I have ever had.

“What an absolute gem this shop is. We had our wedding cake made by Pastries by Nancy & oh boy it did not disappoint. When we had to go try cakes from different vendors, all we could talk about was the cakes from this shop. The owner was also very helpful & knowledgeable about the cakes & what could & wouldn’t work. “I guess it’s been over a year since I last came in, according to the timetable that my barista today gave me since the new renovation. However, I don’t think so, it feels like I’ve just been there just a few months ago maybe a year ago if I really had to push it. Anyway, came in this afternoon and had super, super sweet customer service by my barista Jess. Who made a really good flat white. And super sweet conversation as well with Steve the manager and Nathan.
The new interior design is nice, but me personally I preferred and liked the old style. Just seemed more sweet, cozy and welcoming. I said it all the time, customer service to me is on the top of the list of what makes me return to a business. Let alone recommend them or write them good reviews. Today’s interaction with these three employees definitely made me want to return.
Now the Beverly Hills location is my literal neighborhood location, but I wouldn’t mind going out my way to come to this one. My primary reason for stopping by today was picking up a Too Good To Go. Never disappoints lol overall, I am extremely pleased with this location. Highly recommend them for a fantastic cup of coffee, a sweet treat. I know I’ll be back.“
