We absolutely love Susie Cakes. Every cupcake and cake that we have gotten there have been so delicious. The chocolate flourless cupcake is probably my favorite, it is like biting into a chocolate pillow.Today we tried the candy cane cake, champagne cupcake and mimosa cupcake. The candy cane cake is chock full of candy cane pieces. The mimosa had a light orange flavor and the champagne cupcake had a very light flavor in the frosting.
Tried Susiecakes in Pasadena on a whim, I walked in quickly and got out fast - thanks to the kind service. The double chocolate cupcake was moist, and the buttercream frosting was flavorful, just a bit too sweet for me. The $5 price seemed a bit much for the size. Overall, a decent cupcake but is it that enough to make me come back ?
