“Some of the best ice cream can be found here! I was a bit reluctant at first but after trying a sample of the strawberry ice cream, I was hooked. Got a waffle cone of it and hands down, their waffle cones are the best. It’s the sweet spot of not too soft and not too hard. Best part is the wonderful lady who helped us was extremely friendly. Along with all of this, there is plenty of seating inside and outside. Highly recommend a visit here if you love ice cream!!“

“Wanna get some yummy ice cream after you’ve had a burger at Amboy? There’s a variety of unique flavors at Scoops, in which I got a red velvet & oreo + vanilla & m&m shake. Probably would recommend having ice cream rather than milkshake because I think you can savor it better. The flavor was sweet and creamy, but in hindsight, I would have chosen just one flavor for the shake.“

“Salt & Straw is an ice cream shop nestled on the iconic Sunset Blvd, in Silver Lake section of LA. This Orgeon based ice cream shop has a modest selection of handmade ice cream flavors. I rarely eat ice cream but today I was compelled due to 90 degree weather. I came and was given a perfunctory melancholic greeting by a young female staff. It was my first time tasting this brand of ice cream; I had a scoop of Coffee & Love Nuts flavor over a waffle cone which cost $8.15 bucks. Its texture was thicc, flavorful and very sweet. I had to drink water afterwards to ease the sweetness.

Service was on point. Staff needs to improve customer service greeting which was non-existent. Prices are okay. Overall, I liked my ice cream but I had better.“

“Born and raised in ELA been coming here since I was a kid and now that I've moved to the IE we still make time to come visit anytime we are in the area... My only complaint is that I believe they have recently changed the chocolate on the dipped cones which is one of my go to choices but this last time we visited the chocolate seemed like plastic and didn't even taste like chocolate 🤷 if you changed the chocolate to maybe save some money please go back, I don't think I'll ever have the dipped cone again if it doesn't go back to the previous chocolate or possibly it was a bad batch 🤷 also please bring back the butterscotch option for dipped cones 🤤otherwise my other option is always a banana split... Either way we will keep coming back for years to come, my kids always make sure to remind me to stop anytime we're in the area rain or shine“

The ambiance is charming, especially with the surprise downstairs restrooms corridor and rooftop upstairs. Service was friendly even through the dinner rush, Brent took care of us. Food and atmosphere make it worth the visit. Having Chef John Acosta come out to explain his inspiration for the desserts he created, gave that extra touch to a special evening.“

I wanted to try, so I ordered child’s size Vegan Belgian Chocolate, Cioccolato Belga, since they added this non-diary version to the menu. OMG and thank you! It’s unbelievable how good it is! I had not been here in a very long time.

It seemed pretty similar to before. I like this spot, it’s nice place to get a taiyaki with a bit more sweet.

There is no seating inside. Wait time can be long when the line is long. And, parking can be tricky.
But besides that it’s a nice place to try for something different than your regular ice cream place.“

I had no idea it was vegan until I saw the reviews on here! I recommend pairing the Calamansi with the Matcha—it tastes like a matcha lemonade. Other than that, the ice cream was absolutely amazing.

Only street parking in Larchmont, so I wish you all the best.

A long line formed right after we arrived, but we noticed it was moving efficiently while we enjoyed our ice cream.

All outdoor seating, which is covered. Probably the most aesthetically pleasing architecture for an ice cream shop in LA.“
