I opted for the Ube Mochi flavor and the pistachio. The ube was very flavorful, and I did enjoy the mochi bits. For mochi being in a cold dessert, it was surprisingly still really soft! classic flavor, but I've never seen it be done gelato style so this was good! “Ive been to Gobi a few times now for a sweet treat after dinner and it never disappoints. The texture of rolled ice cream is different than your traditional scooped ice cream or soft serve, but I love it! It's also cool to be able to watch the workers make your order in front of you. The fruit bowl is my go-to here. I don't know how they do it but all the fruit they put on top is super fresh and delicious every time. Highly recommend this flavor. “Finally got the chance to try this dessert place after always passing by. I got the pure milk soft serve and 3 pieces of taiyaki in custard and red bean. The soft serve is a nice texture and it's very soft. The milk is a bit too sweet, in my opinion. And you can self serve on several toppings for the soft serve. The taiyaki is very good, just wish that it is a bit more crispy. They give a generous amount of filling inside the taiyaki. Inside is a small place. They only have a bench and a couple of stools. Overall, a great dessert place!“

“Nice little spot for those who want that homemade "Ice Cream Truck/Thrifty" sensation. The young man who takes the orders is polite and very efficient. Some friends of mine talked me into giving the location a try. You have so much to choose from. I guess that why the menu can now be pulled up by QR Code. I purchased two 8oz size of chili. A kid size of praline and pecan ice cream and a size bigger of pistachio for the hubby. When I received the bag with the cups of ice cream, they seem a bit small. My pralines was more like a tease due to the kid size. When it said "kid size" that's exactly what it means. The ice cream was good so my advice, go with a pint. The chilli was okay. It taste more like that brick chilli. Very salty and not all that thick. The menu states that crackers for the chili are ten cents each but I figure that must be the fee for extra because they are generous enough to put some in your bag to go along with the chilli. My advice, get it along with some rice to help dilute the saltiness of the chilli. Would I go back? Yes if I wasn't trying to watch my health. If I wasn't as old as I am. Would it hit the spot for a younger crowd? Yes!!! It would!!!“

They have a fun menu with interesting items like their "j latti" which is shaved ice with soft serve ice cream; it's great. They also have traditional stuff like sundaes, banana splits, and even milkshakes. It's family owned and the owners are cordial. Prices are reasonable and portions are great. My only gripe is that it's a little bit run down and there are only a few benches outside which aren't very well kept. It's still cozy enough especially in the evening.“

We diced to order a torta that did not disappint, an esquite with Hot Cheeto crumbs that was something new for me but definitely not a regret, a licuado de platano which was delicious, and a bionico that was extremely generous in serving. Uber crunch is absolute perfection: natural tasting ube flavor, not too sweet/sugary (for reference, I find Häagen-Dazs to be just slightly too sweet), and the crunch balances the creamy texture very well. Also highly recommend the passion fruit cacao. Japanese neopolitan is interesting, but the flavors aren't my favorite - try if curious or love matcha/Sakura/Hokkaido milk flavors. Everything comes with a free topping. (at least the small size we ordered did.)One of us got Pink Vanilla, and the other Black Horchata. Only 2 other flavors were available (a vegan chocolate and an oreo based one Kiki and Cream). So there really wasn't a lot to choose from. Also It's a couple weeks after we were there and, although it says flavors rotate, it's the same menu up on their Instagram...so I'm not sure how often they do rotate...with only 4 flavors total, it seems like they might want to rotate more, or offer more flavors...honestly none of the offered flavors were all that exciting...but we were there so tried a couple.It's soft-serve ice cream so it has that froyo vibe to it. Both flavors were fine. I mean you can't really go wrong with ice cream, sort of like with pizza. I'm not sure I would write home about either the Black Horchata or the Pink vanilla as the flavors in both were pretty mild. They also serve ice cream with tai yaki cakes on top. It is Japanese milk and tai yaki themed desserts which is different than traditional ice cream shops. Since this is located across from Little Tokyo shopping mall there is no free parking.“

We opted to share 2 flavors, that weren't swirlable we got malted milk chocolate and let lime. Chocolate was perfect and key lime was creamy and tart. I loved that even in 80 degrees or ice cream didn't melt into a puddle; therefore making the experience great! We weren't forced to eat faster because of the temperature!! I recommend this shop! Our cashier/server, Cindy, was amazingly helpful and friendly in recommending their best sellers so we opted for the Nutella-filled churros and just a plain soft serve to pair with it. The churros were made so fresh it was crisp and soft (not to mention so much thicker than I expected them to be) that pocketed the right amount of filling as it didn't make a big mess when taking a bite. The soft serve was just as good when Cindy handed it over, it was swirled pretty high and tall (not pictured as I immediately dug into that one). The ambiance of this place was friendly and moderate, I want to thank Cindy for making the rest of our night great with her service. I would recommend saving this spot for late night sweets!“
