My favorite LA Ice Cream chain and maybe shop. The Atwater location is the closest one to where I live. Parking can be a challenge, but try to get it in the shopping plaza. Its impossible to go here Sunday lunch-230Pm due to the Farmers Market next door. The best ice cream shop in LA. My family's absolute favorite. Every time we're in town visiting grandma, we have to stop here.As for the comments saying it's pricey. Of course...it's artisinal, small batch; using high-end, imported ingredients. Love that this ice cream shop carries such a variety of unique international flavors. The staff are also very helpful and friendly. Uber crunch is absolute perfection: natural tasting ube flavor, not too sweet/sugary (for reference, I find Häagen-Dazs to be just slightly too sweet), and the crunch balances the creamy texture very well.
