“Love the vibes of this place. For those that grew up going to Ace Yogurts, this place is very similar vibe. This place has different variety of flavors to choose from and very unique but so worth it. The flavors are occasionally different from time to time but it’s nice to come back to try something new and fresh. They always give samples of the flavor if you’re feeling curious about the taste they will give you a detailed explanation about it.“

“Do you run in the non-dairy lane and are tired of the same old-same old flavors? Of being looked down on as a tiresome afterthought at most ice cream shops? Then Scoops is your Valhalla, a veritable Mt Olympus of flavor combinations. At least 2 non-dairy choices + a sorbet and it won’t be the same as you bought last week or the week before that. Also, it’s the least snobby creamery in LA.“

“We had the pleasure of hiring the Swrlies team for a couple’s wedding, and we have to say—they stole the party as soon as they arrived!
Their frozen yogurt is delicious. You can really taste the craftsmanship in it. It was a hit with both kids and adults.
The setup was beautiful, professional, and well put together (see picture).
As a vendor, Yardley is extremely communicative and proactive. He has a great personality, charisma, and—most importantly—professionalism.
We definitely recommend them for any kind of event!“

“I don't crave ice cream often but when I do, I expect nothing but the best. My girlfriend recommended we go to this spot because it's been a staple in the area over the years.

“First time here, loved the ice cream!
It tasted better than other ice creams I've had. I ordered the pistachio and praline ice cream scoops on a waffle cup. The pistachio nuts were so good! Overall, I was impressed with the quality of the ice cream. It tasted more authentic than the other places I've been to. Customer service was good too.
They had outdoor seating but it was too hot so I enjoyed my ice cream in my car with the A/C on.“

“OMG, I just visited this place La Garrafa MX? nieces de garrafa reminded me so much of my mother's home town Cocula Jalisco Mx. I tried several flavors, coffee, passion fruit, dragon fruit, nuez, mama, and last but not least pistachio. wow the flavors were amazing I am definitely going back and tried all the other flavors of nieve de garrafa.“

“Where can I start? The service is above and beyond! They greet you once you enter the door. It’s always nice and cool in there. All their flavors are so delicious! Some of my favorite items are the açaí bowls, the Vietnam coffee cone, the mangoniada, and the matcha flavor! They also have a lovely seating area to sit and chat with a friend. The girls are super sweet and kind. And the owner is so respectful and nice. 😊 highly recommended! Did you know the froyo is organic? 😀 more of a reason to check them out.“

“Decided to come here after dinner because our son had been telling us we needed to try it out. Even though there was a long line out the door, it actually moved pretty fast! There was only one person working the counter and serving the whole crowd, but they were definitely hustling.
They have a lot of really funky and unique flavors to choose from. We ended up trying the Cookie Monster (served in a donut!) and the Ube. Both were really solid—the ice cream is high quality and definitely explains why this place is so popular.
The process is simple: you just pay on the iPad and then grab your ice cream. Definitely a cool spot to check out if you're in Pasadena and looking for a sweet treat!“
“This place is sooo gooood!! Easy parking as it was Sunday evening. There wasn’t a line but definitely a lot of people sitting and eating. There are a few outdoor tables as well as limited inside seating. Bring a jacket cause this area gets chilly at night. The calamansi creamsicle flavor is the perfect summer flavor😍“

“Ever since I had Hokkaido ice cream, I’ve been dreaming about it. I love that Indigo Cow opened up in LA, and I don’t have to fly to Hokkaido to get it!
The soft serve ice cream is served in two flavors here. I highly recommend the Hokkaido milk! You won’t get a creamier softer ice cream than anywhere else. I opted to add the mochi, brown sugar syrup, and roasted soy bean powder for an extra $2. It wasn’t bad, but I think I would add warabimochi next time!
I was here after dinner, and there were no other patrons. I didn’t have to wait. The place is small, but there is indoor seating and water station. No bathroom though.
Parking here is tough because you have to find a spot on the street.

“If you offered me this ice cream 1 million times I would accept it 1 million times… It is so delicious. I got the pure milk flavor with black sugar drizzle, PERFECTION. I taste tested the dole whip, and it was also delicious. The texture of the soft serve is exactly what I was looking for. 100% will be back. The staff was so nice and they even have a free topping bar… Really cute little shop!!“

“I’ve loved Foster Freeze since I was a teenager and I’ve been coming here for years. Nothing has changed — it’s still the same delicious recipe I remember! The ice cream was an absolute hit at our wedding. Throughout the night, guests kept coming back for more, talking about their favorite flavors, and raving about how fun and unexpected it was. There's something about a beautiful ice cream station that instantly brings out everyone's inner child, and Ice Cream Occasions delivered that experience.
They arrived knowing exactly what to do, where to set up, how to operate within the flow of the event, and how to serve guests efficiently. As an event professional myself, I notice when vendors require hand-holding versus when they can truly operate independently, and Ice Cream Occasions was the latter. Once they arrived, I had complete confidence that everything was handled.
To make things even more impressive, I booked them only a few days before my wedding. Despite the short timeline, their team was accommodating, responsive, and willing to customize toppings specifically for us. They never made us feel rushed or like our request was an inconvenience. Instead, they jumped in and helped make it happen.
The combination of incredible ice cream, execution and outstanding customer service made them one of the easiest and best vendor decisions we made.

Tl;dr: ice cream taste 5/5 service 5/5
While the ice cream was delicious we had a major service issue during our visit. We asked for 2 small cones different flavors but were given 2 cones with the 2 flavors mixed in the each cone. When we were given the first cone with tried to clarify that the flavors were supposed to be separate but the second cone came out the same as the first. Our next issue was that we asked for a large bowl but were given a small cone for the 3rd ice cream; we weren't given a receipt to see if we were charged for a large bowl or a small cone. Last issue was we ordered ice cream sandwiches to take home & instead of being told we could select what flavor we wanted we were given a random assortment of flavors. As a side note the ice cream sandwiches are smaller than you would think.“

“Going to Fosters is a 20 year tradition for us and they never disappoint. The ice cream is always creamy and the fries are always perfectly crispy. They have so many choices to choose from that everyone in the family are always happy. It can get pricey but the quality has not been compromised, so we don't mind. “We stopped by Bumsan Organic Milk Bar after having a meal in Little Tokyo, and it felt like the perfect place for dessert. This organic ice cream shop originated in Korea, and you can definitely taste the difference.
The ice cream is clean, smooth, and well-balanced, with just the right level of sweetness that really lets the milk flavor shine. It has a subtle but distinct character that feels different from typical American ice cream—lighter, more refined, and very pleasant.
We ordered the ice cream with waffles, and pairing the two together made it even better. The combination added warmth and texture, making the dessert feel more complete and satisfying.

“I got the Chocolate Pistachio Crunch with the optional Pistachio Cream around the cup and on top.
The ice cream itself was delicious, it had a really nice pistachio flavor without being too overwhelming, with plenty of crispy caramelized cone pieces and chocolate chunks swirled throughout.
I paid a little over $11 for a regular sized cup, which I felt was on the expensive side; a pint is about $15-16 so I think next time I would just get a pint instead“

“Major props to Los Alpes Ice Cream. I get nostalgic every time I come here. I have been visiting since I was a kid and the memories I have from this place are all great. The quality is just as good today as it was back then. I literally met my best friend here over 30 years ago and the interior still looks exactly the same.
I love coming here every chance time permits when I am visiting Los Angeles. It is one of those places that brings me right back and it never disappoints.
The flavor selection is amazing. Even though I usually keep it simple with cookies and cream, I have a hard time resisting the mamey and nuez every single time. Their ice creams are packed with ingredients. Cookies and cream is loaded with actual cookies and the nuez has that perfect nutty richness in every bite.
The staff and owner are always attentive, friendly, and genuinely pleasant. This place is a true Los Angeles institution. It still surprises me how many people do not know about this gem. If you have never been, do yourself a favor and check it out. You will see why it has been around for decades.“

“My first time there wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Upon going in they had a nice little crowd, the staff was nice and helpful. So my box of 4 cookies $19 was brownie batter, not bad, could use some nuts walnuts, or pecans, . My favorite cookie chocolate chip also could use some nuts walnuts or pecans and cooked a little longer. Next was funnel cake. Kind of like that one crunchy, not sure if it really tasted like funnel cake, but I liked it. Then cake batter thins not too bad either.“

“I visited this matcha Cafe right after dining at a restaurant whose AC was not working, in a hot and somewhat humid summer day. For me a matcha blend is all I need to cool down. This cafe has a clean, cool, and relaxing ambiance. The Japanese-inspired décor, complete with anime characters, gave it a fun and authentic personality. It took a minute to order and another two minutes to get my matcha blend. It didn’t disappoint. It was rich in matcha, light in cream, and sugar level was just right for me, not too sweet not too bitter, but I wonder if there actually is the customization for sugar level? Maybe I will ask next time I visit this place. The matcha ice cream looked wonderful too, but my stomach was overloaded as was! Now there is one more thing for me to come back to this place for! I was offered a punch card so I guess once the card fills up. Only 9 more visits to go for a free drink.“
