“One of THE BEST spots in Silver Lake/LA BY FAR! There is nothing quite like Mashti’s. Not only do they have flavors for everyone, but their flavors are beyond delicious and interesting. Also, I have to applaud the excellent service. The blonde female worker (I believe her name is Hadley) is especially friendly and kind. Always the best at Mashti’s!“
“My favorite taco place. Please blow this place up so it can survive!!! It’s in a slightly difficult place due to the traffic at that intersection but the food is sooooooo good and the workers are all so friendly. Cute space inside and out. Get your tacos/burrito gogo “
“Nice place hidden in plain sight. Lot of random candy toppings I never heard of before.Had to wait 30min but I guess you gotta try out these unique ice cream places at least once. They also lit real candles and incense indoors with lofi jazz beat music.“
“Woooooow! The food is A+mazing! The first time I came here I ate the food so fast I didn't get a chance to leave a review. I came back again because I like their sweets. Last time, I had ice cream and their Ashta, and it was perfect. This time I tried their crepes and they did not disappint. If you want sweets, then this is the spot to go.The atmosphere was nice, service is great, and the place is well lit.“
“I enjoy the flavors and toppings. More healthier selections to choose from. The staff and owners (Pablo and his wife) are awesome, informative and accommodating!! And as long as they are open for business, I will only be getting my frozen yogurt from them.“
“Cookies like no other! I love the excitement of checking the weekly menu every Sunday and seeing the big reveal. I went to the location in Cerritos for the first time while my car was being serviced and have been back at least 3 times. So satisfying!! Waiting to see what’s available next week!“
“Best authentic Mexican ice cream in the area. I refuse to go elsewhere. The store owner is so sweet, and the business is family owned. The prices are great and affordable. They have an adorable patio outside there shop. They are also dog friendly!“
“I probably come here more often than I should. Its definitely not good for my health and calorie intake but the cookies here are just so damn good. I love how they switch the flavors every week so you don't get bored. Everything I've tried has been solid. No complaints.“
“Banger Gelato/ice cream spot. I loved the unique flavors, the cashier serving us was gracious enough to let us try a bunch of flavors, and although there is limited seating inside, the outdoor seats are a vibe. I opted for the Ube Mochi flavor and the pistachio. The ube was very flavorful, and I did enjoy the mochi bits. For mochi being in a cold dessert, it was surprisingly still really soft! classic flavor, but I've never seen it be done gelato style so this was good! The pistachio is classic and it was just so delicious. Pistachio can be hit or miss for me but this place is definitely a hit. I'll for sure be back!“
“Located right on Green before Wilson, only street parking available. Absolutely love their Thai Tea soft serve. They do have other flavor drinks available, both hot and cold. Freshly made cookies also for sale. You do have the option to make the soft serve into a float with different tea options. If it’s your first time here get the “Trophy” which includes all the toppings except for Oreo crumbs. No tables or public bathroom, just a single bench seat while you wait for your order.“
“Amazing ice cream with tons of different flavors, handmade everyday. The milkshakes, malts, banana splits, and etc., are just as amazing. The price is just right for premium handmade ice cream. You can even get a pint or a quart of your favorite ice cream(s) to go if you really want. The only downside is that there is no indoors, you order your food through window openings at the counter, while standing outside. But it makes sense, since there really isn't enough room for an indoor section. It's not a big deal though, as once you get your ice cream you can jump back in your car and finish it at home.“
“A gem in Little Tokyo! One of my favorite places for matcha, and my top pick is the soft serve ?? The owners' attention is very friendly. The entire staff is attentive and always greets you with a smile. The space is quite small, and every time I've visited, it's always crowded. If you want to try something authentic, warm, and delicious, I recommend this place. ✨“
“A cute place to get that sweet tasty treat. You can come in and sample the different flavors they have before you finally decide on the ones you want. The waffle cone is the way to go, get the split scoop you’re gonna want more than one flavor.Staff was great, also awesome to see Filipinos representation and flavors that people get to enjoy.Cultures are meant to be shared and appreciated.Love their fusions and seasonal flavors that change, it keep it fresh and allowing to come back to try something new. This place also has pie hole and pressed juicery inside. They have seating area by the window where you can enjoy your treat and people watch.Lots of stores that you can visit on your visit either before or after.Parking garages are close by just be mindful of the time that passes by either parking isn’t too expensive.Dietary restrictions: The have vegan optionsParking: Parking garages in different spots and easy to walk to.It’s for 2 hr parking, pay at the machine, they sometimes have workers there to assist if you get stuck or forget to pay before you exit. There is also metered parkingKid-friendliness: Kids will love coming in to taste the different flavors“
“Love this local sandwich shop with a bit of history, amazing staff, and delicious food! Not typically a sandwich person, but this place is definitely working on changing my mind! The tri-tip sandwich, available on Thursday and Friday only, is amazing, nice smoky flavor and melted cheese, works just so well. The Hey Joe sandwich is great any other day of the week if you're a meat lover - pastrami, roast beef, and a hot link! Give them a go and support, my favorite type of restaurant to support, cheers!“
“We loved our raspados and crepes from Chamo Fruit. I got the aposionada (mango-tamarindo) It was perfectly tart and sweet. My girl got the tropical (pineapple-mango) Very refreshing. The brother got the Oreo/Nutella crepes and he loved em. Thanks for the great drinks and food. The service was great.“
“I got a coffee shake and my son got an Oreo sundae. Both were excellent. Service was outstanding as right when we walked in both young ladies got up right away and started on our order immediately. And that was at 10:30 pm a Wednesday night.“
“It’s been years since i last stopped by before I moved to Chicago. Can’t leave without having my boba. I grew up in the K-Town District. You don’t always have a chance to come back home to visit.Kid-friendliness: You can get your kid ice cream, Oreo boba.“
“Finally got the chance to try this dessert place after always passing by. I got the pure milk soft serve and 3 pieces of taiyaki in custard and red bean. The soft serve is a nice texture and it's very soft. The milk is a bit too sweet, in my opinion. And you can self serve on several toppings for the soft serve. The taiyaki is very good, just wish that it is a bit more crispy. They give a generous amount of filling inside the taiyaki. Inside is a small place. They only have a bench and a couple of stools. Overall, a great dessert place!“
“i love the sweet potato fries here, they have a little sugar coating on top :] its a pretty nice place to have some snacks and hang out with friends :]Kid-friendliness: there’s like 2 board games here? and a small seating area for kids (pictures taken)“
“Went 1-15-24. So good. Long line to get in about 7:00 pm on a weekend. The ice cream is worth the wait. They encourage you to try flavors but all of them are good. Person working behind the counter making waffle cones was doing an amazing job. I will definitely be coming back for more. Got a split scoop with two different flavors in a cup to go.“
“This quaint shop in Pasadena is a nice spot if you're in the area and looking for a sweet treat. I came here after visiting the pizza place next door. The lady helped me decide on what ice cream to get, and the service was friendly and efficient. The ice cream was tasty, great temperature (not too hard to scoop with my spoon), and no freezer burn. It's worth a try if you're already in the area or plan to be.“
“I came in with a friend and we were able to taste as many samples as we wanted, which was great because I couldn't choose between five or so flavors- they all looked so good! I ended up getting the fluffernutter and butter cake in a bowl with a waffle cone piece. The staff were nice and patient with us, and there was enough seating inside at the time for us to enjoy our ice cream in the store.“
“Excellent Ice Cream in favorite And Niche flavors, A rare foodie Gem. So glad this place made it through the pandemic! They’ve been taking customer suggestions for flavors and experimental since the beginning, and the affogato is unforgettable!Dietary restrictions: Very high quality Non-dairy flavors“
“This location is rather new. They have no public restrooms but great parking options. The location was nice and line moved quickly. They only had one line open for ordering which caused a little line. We got the raspberry heart cookie, lemon iced and the heart sprinkle sugar. They were a little undercooked but still tasty. This is more like a self serve. The gal that gave us are order was really nice. Ten out of ten recommend downloading the app. They have great deals on the app.“
“Love that this ice cream shop carries such a variety of unique international flavors. The staff are also very helpful and friendly. Uber crunch is absolute perfection: natural tasting ube flavor, not too sweet/sugary (for reference, I find Häagen-Dazs to be just slightly too sweet), and the crunch balances the creamy texture very well. Also highly recommend the passion fruit cacao. Japanese neopolitan is interesting, but the flavors aren't my favorite - try if curious or love matcha/Sakura/Hokkaido milk flavors. Would 100% revisit!“
“This is my go-to ice scream spot. I would recommend this place to anyone! It's cute for a date ( the banana split is amazing). All the flavors are true to what they're suppose to taste like. The decor is just as memorable as the ice cream.“
“Ice cream + donuts is always a hit! Service here is always fast and friendly! I love their Paramoreo donut with Paramoreo ice cream! (Think Cookie Monster Oreo ice cream) My only complaint is that they don't have as much donut options as their sister shop, Donut Friend. Parking can be kind of tricky as it does get busy on sunset and it's street parking only.“
“10/10 would recommend!! The flavors are delicious customer service is amazing! I stumbled upon this gem when I was looking for something sweet in the neighborhood and was pleasantly surprised. They have nieve de garrafa which is my favorite!! The girl there was soooo nice that she let us try all her favorite flavors upon learning that it was our first time there. Will 100% become a regular here (:“
“We needed ice cream post a nearby late-night pizza slice. We needed it to be near the metro station. And we needed it to be open! Little Damage fulfilled all three of these requirements one mid-week evening after a nearby event in DTLA.The atmosphere is cool...gothy decorations and vibe with a few creative flavors on hand. Everything comes with a free topping. (at least the small size we ordered did.)One of us got Pink Vanilla, and the other Black Horchata. Only 2 other flavors were available (a vegan chocolate and an oreo based one Kiki and Cream). So there really wasn't a lot to choose from. Also It's a couple weeks after we were there and, although it says flavors rotate, it's the same menu up on their Instagram...so I'm not sure how often they do rotate...with only 4 flavors total, it seems like they might want to rotate more, or offer more flavors...honestly none of the offered flavors were all that exciting...but we were there so tried a couple. It's soft-serve ice cream so it has that froyo vibe to it. Both flavors were fine. I mean you can't really go wrong with ice cream, sort of like with pizza. I'm not sure I would write home about either the Black Horchata or the Pink vanilla as the flavors in both were pretty mild. But was a good enough sweet treat that checked off the boxes for what we needed.“
“WE LOVE MAGPIES!! We got their signature cornflake pie (dairy free, yay) for our wedding and have been going back for a big slice ever since. Also if you order a pie for takeout, they’ll give you freezer packs and an insulated bag. Vegan and non-vegan options aplenty.“
“Great little gem that me and my family have gone to for many years! Delicious ice cream regardless of weather you will find me here :)Parking: There is always plenty of free parking on the street if lot is full!Kid-friendliness: Cute tables and chairs for families to enjoy their snacks.“
“I was waiting to go for Cava and saw this spot and glad I tried it.I ordered the chocolate chip and the red velvet cookies. Both were served warm and they were delicious, soft, crumbly, flaky. One of the best cookies I’ve had and I wish I had milk to go with it.It was definitely a great visit and I’d come back to get more cookies in the future. I think if they had ice cream, it’d be phenomenal.“
“I do love me a good sunday. I could use some more buts but it was a great balance of fudge, nuts and whip cream. Trust me. I took my kid here for the first time. Sure, he is wasting his childhood with vanilla milkshakes and won't try other ice creams or flavors, but he did enjoy it thoroughly. They have a parking lot. Trust me. Not too much seating but sometimes that's how you meet people. Especially if you get the same thing as some stranger and then you wonder, what else do we have in common. The guy next to me had the same sunday and we were both currently trying to hack into the government's websites. So funny. I gotta try the texas toast ham and cheese next time I come here! Trust me“
“The parking structure was easy to find. I ordered the cannolis and sfogliatelles both of which were amazing. The sfogliatelles were crispy, and the cannoli shells were crunchy. The orange in the custard/ricotta was flavorful! The cashier was very friendly and prompt with serving me!“
“Salt & Straw in the Arts District is an absolute must-visit for ice cream enthusiasts. The selection of flavors is beyond impressive, with each one more enticing than the last. From classic favorites to innovative creations, there's something for every palate to enjoy.“
“The ice cream occasions truly delivers one of the best ice cream experiences. The flavors are incredibly rich and decadent, satisfying even the most discerning palates. The texture is perfectly creamy, creating a velvety smooth sensation with every bite. The variety of flavors available is impressive, catering to both classic and adventurous taste preferences. The ice cream occasion is a delightful treat for any ice cream lover.“
“Came for a late night snack and came out pretty satisfied! Our cashier/server, Cindy, was amazingly helpful and friendly in recommending their best sellers so we opted for the Nutella-filled churros and just a plain soft serve to pair with it. The churros were made so fresh it was crisp and soft (not to mention so much thicker than I expected them to be) that pocketed the right amount of filling as it didn't make a big mess when taking a bite. The soft serve was just as good when Cindy handed it over, it was swirled pretty high and tall (not pictured as I immediately dug into that one). The ambiance of this place was friendly and moderate, I want to thank Cindy for making the rest of our night great with her service. I would recommend saving this spot for late night sweets!“
“When getting our food there was a bit of a wait but I didn't mind since there is a seating area. The matcha obanyaki was pretty good and I loved the Cookie Monster ice cream. The ube horchata was ok tho, haven't tried their other drinks.“
“For people who are gluten-free or vegan, this is an absolute dream come true. The yogurt is the perfect craving killer for folks who cannot have milk and even their cones act as a perfect way to not indulge in something you cannot digest. Every flavor is delicious and the toppings they have compliment them very well.“
“I love Honeymee, everytime I vacation in LA I make it my mission to stop by to get my fix. The soft serve and the honey just go perfectly together! This time I got the Honeymee which had the honey comb on top and it was delicious, I just love how the honey isn't too sweet so it doesn't over power the flavor of the soft serve“
“Hot high 80's day? A popsicle sounds great!Located across from Mission San Gabriel, Nomad Ice Pops looked to be a refreshing solution on a hot Fall day. Being Dia de los Muertos/Halloween season, Nomad Ice Pops had some popsicles shaped like skulls. After perusing the menu, horchata stood out & compelled a purchase.Horchata ($3.50)-Sabroso! Horchata was one of my favorite drinks, when I didn't care about sugar, calories, good health, diabetes. Heck, I remember I bought a large horchata from a former Albertaco's in Hawaiian Gardens, only to come back in a hour or so & buy another one. For shame! Anyhoo, Nomad Ice Pops' dairy-free horchata popsicle had all the taste & flavors of horchata that I remembered. It was frozen solid, meaning it didn't melt at all on a high 80's day. I ate the whole popsicle one bite at a time, which made things less messy.Service was good. Nomad Ice Pops operates as a takeout window. Parking is via street or at Mission San Gabriel.Nomad Ice Pops cooled me off on a hot day. I enjoyed my horchata popsicle & appreciated how solid it remained while consuming it. Nomad Ice Pops is a great option when looking for a sweet frozen treat.“
“This is the Little Tokyo outlet of Somi Somi dessert chain. This chain is quite popular since it is not your typical ice cream parlor. They serve soft serve ice cream with various milk flavors. They also serve ice cream with tai yaki cakes on top. It is Japanese milk and tai yaki themed desserts which is different than traditional ice cream shops. Since this is located across from Little Tokyo shopping mall there is no free parking.“
“Next level! Just a dream place for anyone planning an ice cream party -- they mostly sell ice cream in bulk but also offer select individual ice creams that you normally would buy from ice cream trucks. It's not really a place you want to bring your kids just because parking is limited and there's traffic as ice cream trucks are constantly moving around to load up with goodies -- so be very careful if you decide to bring a kiddo. It has a small and busy parking lot but Polar Ice Cream is gem of a place! Great place to get things to pleasantly surprise your family!“
“Decided to stop by and try a crème brûlée coffee Frappuccino when I arrived, I was greeted by the sweetest worker with the brightest smile. Options to choose from was never ending but once I saw what I wanted I knew that is what I needed to try. I have absolutely no regrets. I am so happy with my drink, oh and cute shop!“
“If you’re particular about your Matcha you will find that Midori Matcha matches your expectations. They use ceremonial-grade matcha so the colors are vibrant and the flavor is well-rounded. I felt that their matcha had a little kick to it, very subtle but it was that note presented itself at the very end of a sip.Their prices are very reasonable at $6 for a matcha latte and $3 for their matcha ice cream. It’s a beautiful establishment, the interiors are wooden and inviting. The shop is located right across a water fountain and has plenty of seating inside and outside. The employees are knowledgeable and friendly. It’s one of my favorite places downtown to grab authentic matcha ?“
“I really enjoyed this location there's plenty of parking in the back. They really do know how to make the desserts and they really are very knowledgeable on what they are. Customer service is on point. I never usually have to wait a long time. They are very attentive and nice so I really do enjoy coming to this location. Inside you know it's a Little small but you know it's fine. But it is very clean it is very neat. You can tell that they regularly clean.“
“I recently visited this quaint little ice cream joint and, overall, I had a delightful experience, but there were a couple of hiccups that prevented it from being perfect. Let's start with the positives: the atmosphere here is absolutely charming. The small space is adorned with vibrant island decorations that transport you to a tropical paradise, enhancing the overall experience. I couldn't agree more with the uniqueness of this place; there's truly nothing quite like it in the area. Also, the prices are incredibly reasonable, making it an attractive option for anyone looking for a budget-friendly sweet treat. However, there was one significant downside that left me slightly disappointed, and it's the reason I've docked a star from my review. The preparation of the ice cream cone left much to be desired. Typically, I expect my cone to be assembled in a specific order: ice, ice cream, ice, and then syrup. Unfortunately, the girl behind the counter didn't follow this sequence. Instead, she put the ice cream first, a move that initially caught me off guard. I didn't even realize she had added the ice cream until my observant friend pointed it out, as it was the first thing she did. Consequently, I assumed she had forgotten about my ice cream until I reached the bottom of the cone, where it was disappointingly mixed with water. This unexpected arrangement affected the texture and taste of my dessert, leaving me slightly unsatisfied. Despite this setback, I must commend the flavors of my cone, which were truly delicious. The combination of syrup, guava and mango, was divine, showcasing the potential this place has if the preparation process is improved. Another minor downside was the limited seating inside; the space is quite small, with not many tables available. However, since it wasn't busy during my visit, I managed to find a spot without much trouble. Additionally, I'd like to mention that finding parking on the busy street was a bit challenging, but considering the unique experience and affordable prices, I'd say it's worth the drive. With a few adjustments in the preparation process and perhaps some expansion in the seating area, this place has the potential to become a top-notch dessert destination. I'm optimistic that my next visit will be even better, and I'm looking forward to seeing these improvements in action.“
“Fast customer service, really friendly workers and a delicious frozen drink. Not much more I could ask for on a warm and sunny day. I got their like flavor and it was soooo good. The one caveat is that they only accept cash but I say it is definitely worth it! As far as ambiance goes, it has a rather humble appearance but at the end of the day it's the flavor that sold me.“
“The chicken at HOWLIN' was so spicy that I hurriedly went to buy ice cream to put out the heat in my mouth. ? I went for the matcha, jasmine tea, and vanilla triple for $7, and they were all delicious! The size was just right, not too big. As a Japanese person, I found it quite sweet, but it melted smoothly in my mouth and had a delicious taste.“
“Just love this location. Always clean and friendly staff. Super helpful with questions and decisions. Great parking and convenience. Some of the freshest ice cream around. Birthday and special occasion cake are perfection. Can't wait to be back.“
