Ube ice cream one a cone gone in a few seconds. It was really delicious, not too sweet.
We recently heard about Perla's from our teen daughter. Unassuming, cute but a bit hard to spot driving southbound on Oceanview, just south of downtown Montrose. I've always told my kids that there are no better ice cream flavors than Filipino ice cream and I'm so glad they finally got to try some. So much better than store-bought Magnolia brand ice cream (no shade intended) and not as sweet as conventional flavors.
