Then Scoops is your Valhalla, a veritable Mt Olympus of flavor combinations. At least 2 non-dairy choices + a sorbet and it won’t be the same as you bought last week or the week before that. I’m usually a creature of habit here. I know what I’m getting before I even arrive. I’ll sample the seasonal and the oddball flavors for fun, but nine times out of ten, I end up right where the tourists do. Honey Lavender on a sugar cone. Locked in. No notes.
This visit, I was sampling as usual when a team member offered me a flavor and thoughtfully let me know it contained trace amounts of alcohol. I appreciated the heads-up. I took the sample, said “thank you, that’s fine,” then jokingly added that I was only 92 days sober and chuckled. The look on her face was of nervousness. I immediately told her it was a joke, and she carried on with assisting me.
In hindsight, I felt a little bad for putting her in that moment, but what stood out was how professionally and kindly she handled it. She stayed composed, respectful, and warm the entire time.
That kind of response says a lot, not just about her, but about the team culture at this location.
Sampling here always feels welcoming, never rushed, never awkward, even when customers deliberately make things… momentarily awkward.

“We had the pleasure of hiring the Swrlies team for a couple’s wedding, and we have to say—they stole the party as soon as they arrived!
Their frozen yogurt is delicious. You can really taste the craftsmanship in it. It was a hit with both kids and adults.
The setup was beautiful, professional, and well put together (see picture).
As a vendor, Yardley is extremely communicative and proactive. He has a great personality, charisma, and—most importantly—professionalism.
We definitely recommend them for any kind of event!“

“OMG, I just visited this place La Garrafa MX? nieces de garrafa reminded me so much of my mother's home town Cocula Jalisco Mx. I tried several flavors, coffee, passion fruit, dragon fruit, nuez, mama, and last but not least pistachio. wow the flavors were amazing I am definitely going back and tried all the other flavors of nieve de garrafa.“

It tasted better than other ice creams I've had. I ordered the pistachio and praline ice cream scoops on a waffle cup. The pistachio nuts were so good! Overall, I was impressed with the quality of the ice cream. It tasted more authentic than the other places I've been to. Customer service was good too.
They had outdoor seating but it was too hot so I enjoyed my ice cream in my car with the A/C on.“

“Decided to come here after dinner because our son had been telling us we needed to try it out. Even though there was a long line out the door, it actually moved pretty fast! There was only one person working the counter and serving the whole crowd, but they were definitely hustling.
They have a lot of really funky and unique flavors to choose from. We ended up trying the Cookie Monster (served in a donut!) and the Ube. Both were really solid—the ice cream is high quality and definitely explains why this place is so popular.
The process is simple: you just pay on the iPad and then grab your ice cream. Definitely a cool spot to check out if you're in Pasadena and looking for a sweet treat!“

“I came here to say, I have never heard of this brand before but last night while shopping at my local Jay C (kroger), I stumbled across the Gluten free Gooey Butter cake ice cream and i’m so very glad I did!!! it’s delicious!!!! It’s not often us Gf people get to have cake and I actually don’t care for ice cream. I rarely eat it but that has all changed thanks to Jeni’s. “If you offered me this ice cream 1 million times I would accept it 1 million times… It is so delicious. I got the pure milk flavor with black sugar drizzle, PERFECTION. I taste tested the dole whip, and it was also delicious. The texture of the soft serve is exactly what I was looking for. 100% will be back. The ice cream was an absolute hit at our wedding. Throughout the night, guests kept coming back for more, talking about their favorite flavors, and raving about how fun and unexpected it was. There's something about a beautiful ice cream station that instantly brings out everyone's inner child, and Ice Cream Occasions delivered that experience.
They arrived knowing exactly what to do, where to set up, how to operate within the flow of the event, and how to serve guests efficiently. As an event professional myself, I notice when vendors require hand-holding versus when they can truly operate independently, and Ice Cream Occasions was the latter. Once they arrived, I had complete confidence that everything was handled.
To make things even more impressive, I booked them only a few days before my wedding. Despite the short timeline, their team was accommodating, responsive, and willing to customize toppings specifically for us. They never made us feel rushed or like our request was an inconvenience. Instead, they jumped in and helped make it happen.

“Best dairy free ice cream I have had in my life. Honestly, just overall some of the best ice cream I’ve had in my life. As someone who now avoids dairy, I’m always bummed when a shop says they have dairy free and then it’s only sorbet. This place was 100% ice cream (well, I guess not, since it literally says “not ice cream” on their sign)!
There were 3 of us and between the samples and our choices, we pretty much tried everything. Every flavor was so perfect and creamy. Wasn’t too sweet or overpowering, but also wasn’t bland by any means. I’m visiting a friend and am only here for a few day. In a city with a billion choices, I am going back here over anywhere else before I head home. Awan-der if they will ever open one on AZ. Here’s hoping!“

“Going to Fosters is a 20 year tradition for us and they never disappoint. The ice cream is always creamy and the fries are always perfectly crispy. They have so many choices to choose from that everyone in the family are always happy. It can get pricey but the quality has not been compromised, so we don't mind. “We stopped by Bumsan Organic Milk Bar after having a meal in Little Tokyo, and it felt like the perfect place for dessert. This organic ice cream shop originated in Korea, and you can definitely taste the difference.
The ice cream is clean, smooth, and well-balanced, with just the right level of sweetness that really lets the milk flavor shine. It has a subtle but distinct character that feels different from typical American ice cream—lighter, more refined, and very pleasant.
We ordered the ice cream with waffles, and pairing the two together made it even better. The combination added warmth and texture, making the dessert feel more complete and satisfying.

“We tried the crème brûlée one, and it was fantastic. The caramelized sugar layer on top had that perfect crisp crack, and underneath it was smooth, creamy, and really satisfying. The combination of textures — the crunchy caramelized top with the soft, sweet filling — made every bite really enjoyable.
Overall, it was a great dessert and definitely something I’d order again if I come back. If you like crème brûlée-style desserts with that caramelized sugar shell and creamy base, this one really delivers.“
