“Stopped by today 11/17 @ 8:55pm approx. I was greeted by a young lady pink hair VERY NICE. She treated me so well, let me try some icecream, created small talk but it didn't seem forced, she is so nice! And of course my icecream is delicious. I didn't get her name but she was very friendly, girl with pink hair and wore a pink beanie. Thank uou for my delicious icecream ☺️“

“If you're walking on the sidewalk in Echo Park, and see a Hopscotch court on the ground, you might have stumbled upon one of the best ice cream shops in the area. That's exactly what happened to a couple of friends and I as we were venturing out into the wilderness on a Saturday evening. Fluffy McCloud not only has atmosphere and pizzazz, but they also pride themselves in using only whole, organic ingredients. Inside this fine establishment, you'll find a working jukebox, a coin-operated gumball machine filled with Lactaid pills (yes, they thought of EVERYTHING), a perpetual motion machine (like a Space Rail), and awesome and friendly staff that dispatch everyone quickly, yet in a professional and friendly manner. My favorite flavor was Thelma Vanilla (yes, I'm very basiq, I know lol), and I had it in a sugar wafer ice cream cone (highly recommend it over having it in a cup). Definitely a 10/10 ice cream shop in one of the most fun and interesting neighborhoods of Los Angeles.“

“The worker was very kind and even recommended that I try the macapuno. I am honestly not a fan of coconut but this ice cream was extremely delicious. I got it with the mango ice cream and it reminded me of mango sticky rice. I would say it’s kind of pricey but I don’t mind supporting small businesses, and it is definitely high quality! “Tried this place tonight for the first time and it was BOMB. I got a chili cheese dog and a single scoop of butter pecan. The ice cream literally survived a 30 minute drive home, no melting. Must be using top notch ingredients for that! This place may just be my new obsession 🤩“

“We had the good fortune of stumbling across Moom Maam gelato when deciding on someone to cater our company's summer event. The flavors were delicious and many were options that you really can't find anywhere else. Their homemade waffle crisp was a surprise hit as well (and gluten free!), and with several vegan options, they were a caterer that truly could have a little something for people regardless of diet restrictions. And despite the whopping number of flavors they brought (15!!) the lines moved along at a good clip--managing to serve hundreds within 2 hours--and the portions were generous.“

I’m usually a creature of habit here. I know what I’m getting before I even arrive. I’ll sample the seasonal and the oddball flavors for fun, but nine times out of ten, I end up right where the tourists do. Honey Lavender on a sugar cone. Locked in. No notes.

This visit, I was sampling as usual when a team member offered me a flavor and thoughtfully let me know it contained trace amounts of alcohol. I appreciated the heads-up. I took the sample, said “thank you, that’s fine,” then jokingly added that I was only 92 days sober and chuckled. The look on her face was of nervousness. I immediately told her it was a joke, and she carried on with assisting me.

In hindsight, I felt a little bad for putting her in that moment, but what stood out was how professionally and kindly she handled it. She stayed composed, respectful, and warm the entire time.

That kind of response says a lot, not just about her, but about the team culture at this location.

Sampling here always feels welcoming, never rushed, never awkward, even when customers deliberately make things… momentarily awkward.

“OMG, I just visited this place La Garrafa MX? nieces de garrafa reminded me so much of my mother's home town Cocula Jalisco Mx. I tried several flavors, coffee, passion fruit, dragon fruit, nuez, mama, and last but not least pistachio. wow the flavors were amazing I am definitely going back and tried all the other flavors of nieve de garrafa.“

“I am usually not the type to write a review, but the service that Sebastian provided was top tier. Sebastian allowed us to sample some products and provided some creative suggestions when it came to combination like a peanut butter and jelly like option when it came to gelato. He was extremely patient with me as I made chose a flavor or gelato to take home and even promoted the points system when imputing our phone number before purchasing it. His service alone is 5 stars alone and the products that were sold were extremely delicious as well, I am looking forward to trying more flavors and running into him again for more suggestions he comes across of.“

“the most dense, full-contact peanut butter experience i've ever had in treat form; the peanut butter shake is sweet yes, but also absurdly rich, like someone concentrated a whole jar of peanut butter into it, just wish there were more brownie pieces for that price.. i also sampled the lavender froyo and was surprised that it held the same richness without falling into soap territory: sweet-floral, clean, and refreshing. honestly would've gone for a full scoop of that if i wasn't commuting right after; such lovely-attentive staff, this frozen treat spot is a gem, especially after some silverlake flea browsing 🍦“

The soft serve has a perfect texture (I tried the Pure Milk flavor with a Taiyaki on top, the Taiyaki being filled with Nutella), the service is quick and efficient, and the store was crowded when my two friends and I went on a Saturday evening. The ambiance is great too, there are so many pictures showing what the options are like, and there are clearly-illustrated menus spread throughout the restaurant. The toppings are available for the customers to grab and add to their ice cream as they wish, and everything, from the Oreo crumbs to the Banana chips are great.
