“From the moment I walked through the doors, the atmosphere felt upbeat, clean, and welcoming. The smell of freshly made waffle cones instantly caught my attention, and the display of ice cream flavors looked incredible.

What I really enjoy about Cold Stone Creamery is the variety of choices available. Whether someone likes classic flavors or more creative combinations, there’s something for everyone. I ordered a custom creation with chocolate ice cream, brownies, caramel, and cookie pieces mixed together on the frozen stone. Watching the staff prepare everything right in front of me made the experience even better. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the texture of the ice cream was rich, creamy, and smooth.

The employees were another highlight of the visit. The staff members were friendly, patient, and genuinely enthusiastic while helping customers choose flavors and toppings. Even during a busy evening rush, they kept a positive attitude and moved quickly to keep the line flowing smoothly. It’s always refreshing to visit a place where customer service feels authentic rather than rushed.

“I came to this spot by accident, yes you heard me. I was looking for another ice cream shop and ran across this one. I purchased a double scoop to go. I scoop of vanilla and and one scoop of praline pecan ice cream in a cup survive the ride home. Once inside the house, that ice cream didn't stand a chance. It didn't have that frost bitten taste that you experience from store bought ice cream. I will try again and I recommend going there.“

I’m usually a creature of habit here. I know what I’m getting before I even arrive. I’ll sample the seasonal and the oddball flavors for fun, but nine times out of ten, I end up right where the tourists do. Honey Lavender on a sugar cone. Locked in. No notes.

This visit, I was sampling as usual when a team member offered me a flavor and thoughtfully let me know it contained trace amounts of alcohol. I appreciated the heads-up. I took the sample, said “thank you, that’s fine,” then jokingly added that I was only 92 days sober and chuckled. The look on her face was of nervousness. I immediately told her it was a joke, and she carried on with assisting me.

In hindsight, I felt a little bad for putting her in that moment, but what stood out was how professionally and kindly she handled it. She stayed composed, respectful, and warm the entire time.

That kind of response says a lot, not just about her, but about the team culture at this location.

Sampling here always feels welcoming, never rushed, never awkward, even when customers deliberately make things… momentarily awkward.

The flavors were delicious and many were options that you really can't find anywhere else. Their homemade waffle crisp was a surprise hit as well (and gluten free!), and with several vegan options, they were a caterer that truly could have a little something for people regardless of diet restrictions. Tl;dr: ice cream taste 5/5 service 5/5

While the ice cream was delicious we had a major service issue during our visit. We asked for 2 small cones different flavors but were given 2 cones with the 2 flavors mixed in the each cone. When we were given the first cone with tried to clarify that the flavors were supposed to be separate but the second cone came out the same as the first. Our next issue was that we asked for a large bowl but were given a small cone for the 3rd ice cream; we weren't given a receipt to see if we were charged for a large bowl or a small cone. Last issue was we ordered ice cream sandwiches to take home & instead of being told we could select what flavor we wanted we were given a random assortment of flavors. As a side note the ice cream sandwiches are smaller than you would think.“

The ice cream was an absolute hit at our wedding. Throughout the night, guests kept coming back for more, talking about their favorite flavors, and raving about how fun and unexpected it was. There's something about a beautiful ice cream station that instantly brings out everyone's inner child, and Ice Cream Occasions delivered that experience.

They arrived knowing exactly what to do, where to set up, how to operate within the flow of the event, and how to serve guests efficiently. As an event professional myself, I notice when vendors require hand-holding versus when they can truly operate independently, and Ice Cream Occasions was the latter. Once they arrived, I had complete confidence that everything was handled.

To make things even more impressive, I booked them only a few days before my wedding. Despite the short timeline, their team was accommodating, responsive, and willing to customize toppings specifically for us. They never made us feel rushed or like our request was an inconvenience. Instead, they jumped in and helped make it happen.

The combination of incredible ice cream, execution and outstanding customer service made them one of the easiest and best vendor decisions we made.

“I was introduced to La Michoacana about a year ago and I’ve been going back ever since. I’m always greeted with a smile and the selection is amazing. My favorite is the Mangoneada. This place always has parking, is clean and there’s always a table to sit and enjoy.“
