On our way home from some degeneracy and I got a jalapeno ham cheese croissant and some donuts. It was hot and fresh out the kitchen and straight into my mouth I could barely contain myself on the drive home.

Now it's nothing special and but given the context this was the best thing to end that night (morning?) with.

“With so many new over-produced artisanal donut shops, it’s hard to know where get a delicious donut that won’t cost $65 for a dozen of one type (yes, $65) and before you pay tax (and this is LA folks). Primo is that place! The various flavors are all excellent but you can’t go wrong with a simple glazed 🍩

“We found this place while driving around LA on a trip. As fans of Trejo, we had to stop. Being from the East Coast and not being fans of the typical strong-tasting dark roasts served at West Coast coffee shops, we didn't expect to love the coffee! We ended up stopping in 3 mornings over our 6 nights in LA because those donuts and the medium roast drip coffee are THAT good! On our first visit, a tray of red velvet donuts came out as we were ordering. OMG, one of the best donuts we'd ever had! Definitely stop by. As fun as it was to take pictures of the decor and Trejo's face on everything, their products are damn delicious!“

“The doughnuts are very good but they gave me a headache after eating them. I might be insulin sensitive so that could be the cause. The guys that work there provide outstanding customer service. I got the mango tango (big) a maple bar, and whatever the white and blue doughnut was.“

“The online menu doesn’t show up online which is so annoying and I wish they would at least display what they sold because they don’t sell stock sandwiches like Starbucks or 711, they actually cook them for you and I usually get the plain bagel with cream cheese but everything is delicious when I’ve tried their other things.
