Came into LA to meet some folks for donuts and coffee. Did a little research beforehand and decided this was a spot I needed to try. Yelp did it again and didn't let me down! The young lady behind the counter was super helpful, super sweet, and had great customer service skills which I appreciate. I have always wondered, who concocted the brilliant merge of two very important words, in the English Disctionary. One is the Croissant. The other is the Donut. Marry them (whether they like it or not, ha ha,ha) and you have the Cronut. This sweet irresistable indulgent offering is available at scattered morning bakeries and coffee shops all over LA and the SFV. On the other hand, SK donuts names their cronuts as Skronuts. Special place. Tiny place. Incredible selection. Top two donut places in the city by my count. Best cinnamon roll and jelly donuts in town. Never been much for the celestial donuts but they certainly make for a pretty display. Their breakfast sandwiches are definitely not the star but a good addition. The staff is great, too. Really kind and patient, and when there are sooooooooo many choices that it a really good thing. Definitely going here again.
