50 Best Donuts near East Los Angeles

“I've been coming here for a while for a few specific things:

-Vietnamese Iced Coffee, it's consistently good. Never had a bad one from here. At 5$ it's a pretty good deal.

-Ham & Cheese Croissant is always solid too whether it's cold or warmed up. Again, never had a bad one from here. I believe it's about 4/4.50$.

-Their filled donuts (Bavarian & Raspberry) are so good too! $1.75 each if I recall correctly.

Service is always great too, I don't know the dudes name (I catch him working mornings), but he's always friendly and efficient at getting your order ready even when he's got a few people in the shop.“

“I always go to this place to order the giant donut! The service is great and the people are friendly. Whenever I tell them the donut is for a birthday, they hook it up and add donut holes in the middle to put the candle and an extra donut as a gift. ❤“

“Small place with a large selection of donuts and pastries, other sandwich and breakfast options available. There are several, small tables for seating. Coffee and both cold / hot drinks available for purchase. Gets very busy for breakfast. Clean place with restroom for customers. Nice and friendly cashier's too.“

“I stopped by this donut place the other morning and it honestly made my day. The moment I walked in, the smell of fresh donuts filled the whole shop. You could tell everything was made fresh because the trays were constantly being restocked.

I ordered a glazed donut and a cup of coffee, and the donut was warm, soft, and perfectly sweet. The glaze had that light crisp on the outside but melted as soon as I took a bite. It paired perfectly with the coffee.

The staff were really friendly too. They greeted everyone who walked in and made the place feel welcoming. It’s one of those simple spots that reminds you how good a fresh donut and good service can be. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m craving something sweet.“

“Great spot! My mom is celiac and it’s rare (like never happens!) that she can find a gf donut. This spot is dedicated gluten free and she was soooo stoked to visit Hello Yr Welcome twice during her recent visit to LA. We got 3 donuts her first time in and 1/2 dozen the second (bc she loved them so much). They were all very flavorful and delicious!

Staff is super friendly and we enjoyed talking with them. Oh and the coffee is great. I got some delicious espresso / good flavor and not bitter - they know how to pull a shot ☕

Also worth noting that all the breakfast sandos and other items look delicious as well! But we were just focused on my moms rare opportunity to enjoy a donut

Worth getting here early as they do tend to sell out of some flavors by afternoon. We found there’s plenty of street parking in the surrounding area, even on the weekends.

“I do really like it here the owner is super friendly not rude like other owners, his lady making the sandwiches is super nice as well and helps as a Spanish translator, if that helps, the donuts are absolutely fresh and fluffy and the croissants are super super delicious fluffy and crispy!! The donuts had the perfect texture, soft and chewy with a light crisp on the outside. They offered flavors like Oreo, Biscoff, Strawberry & Cream, Chocolate, Vanilla Glaze, Fruity Pebbles, and Churro. I also liked that they weren’t overly sweet.

“EThe best place to stop by is Hagara, especially because it has a drive-through. Sometimes it’s nighttime, and I’m already thinking about going there in the morning when I wake up for my donut and coffee. “My spouse and I come here at least once a week. We really enjoy the sandwiches and the iced coffee (strong and sweet, just how I like it). They stuff the sandwiches with lots of ingredients but will leave off any ingredient that you want and even give you pickled peppers on the side. We don't understand why anyone would even go to the Dunkin down the way when you can go to this place. The donuts are big and fresh here. They have such a variety of food and drinks (like fresh juices) that I'm amazed every time. If you think you won't find something you'll like, go in and at least see the menus on the wall.“

“I just love this place. 1 day I was looking on Google for early morning donut shop that was open and I found this place. It opens at 430am. It's also a drive threw. This place is a little hidden gem. If you're ever in Elmonte area, I totally recommend it. They're coffee. It's off the hook. And the donuts are always fresh. My brother and I love going there.

“I've just bit into one of the best donuts ever. I usually default to big chain Krispy Kreme for their hot.ans ready, but lately it's been too sweet. Stopped by Cherri's on my way to take Dad to VA. He can't have breakfast, but I can, so.. Cherri's it is. The donuts are soft, and tasty. Not bland and bready like some places. The icing was sweet, but not overpowering, the maple bars, mmm. These arenmy kryptonite, and it's so hard to find good ones. Cherri's not only has good maple bars, they have GREAT MAPLE BARS!!!!
The ladies inside were warm, friendly and greeted me like I was a regular. Price for 2 donuts and a small cappuccino, exceeded my expectations, $6 you can't get a quick breakfast for that anywhere, but at Cherri's you can.
