I got the lux bagel and enjoyed it very much ! Very tasty and the meal presentation was spectacular . Menu is very interesting and will definitely come again to try out some of that fusion food 🔥

“Been meaning to hit this place, but always pass them up. Glad I stopped by, they got some good eats here. Tried the Vamipro with bistec and potato. Nice and crispy hand made tortilla. Potatos were healthy cut pieces and soft. Also had the Guisado sampler and man they are not shy with the servings. I definitely recommend the sampler plate if you are wanting to try the different options of guisados. For this location early is better as they do sell out of items on the early side. They also have restaurant where you can get there goods as well.”

“The fried pickles were really good! We loved them! All of our meals were really good. The chicken was tasty. The BLT had a good amount of crispy bacon crisp lettuce. The garlic aioli was yummy. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely return.”

“Since before COVID, we discovered this place, after all these years, the food remains top quality and delicious. The atmosphere and scenery has improved and many people, us included are willing to drive a long way just to eat here! Today, we bought the pineapple juice, was not disappointed. Very good! This place is very close to the highway, parking nearby is very convenient. $1.50 price, never changed. We are willing to drive 10 miles just to dine here.”

“We tried this Thai restaurant for the first time, and our experience was amazing! The taste and quality of the food were excellent. Our favorite, the Tom Yum Soup, was absolutely delicious. We also tried the Spicy Basil Clams for the first time, and they were incredibly flavorful and mouthwatering. Overall, it’s a great restaurant if you enjoy authentic Thai food. We would definitely visit again!”

“Ok, so before you cause you should. They only accept cash or Zelle payments. This place has some the freshest fish around and quality. Had some at a work function so had to come out and try more of their food. Took me home so.e of their Tostada de Casa and it was fire. This comes with scallops, jaiva, ceviche de pescado, octopus, 2 styles of cooked shrimp and all the normal veggies that go with ceviche. First off the octopus was great, perfect texture not overcooked where it becomes chewy. Scallops also had great texture all around. They have all other great items i will be looking forward to try in the future.”

“I tried both the Burrito and the torta version and I tell you it was delicious. The beans were super creamy and flavorful, the avocado was fresh and the soyrizo was well seasoned. I also tried their hot cocoa and it was sweetened perfectly. Definitely a place to visit again.”

“Very lovely food stand by a kind family! Crepes are freshly made and you can customized however you like. They have a great selection of syrups and toppings, and you can add banana and/or strawberry for fruits. And you can layer some ingredients inside and on top of the crepes. Definitely would come back to try the mini pancakes!”

“If you drive faster than 35 mph going southbound on Atlantic Blvd, you can easily miss this gem. The seafood is amazing. It’s fresh, flavorful and priced reasonably. We had the shrimp ceviche with the $7 add on of Scallops. Recommended for anyone that enjoys Mexican seafood.”

“I partook of their mango habanero and ghost pepper wings when they were set up in front of the bruery tasting room and was very impressed. They have tasty well seasoned party wings and when they say spicy they're not lying. Try the corn! They are making magic with simple ingredients.”

“I've been coming here for a while for a few specific things:

-Vietnamese Iced Coffee, it's consistently good. Never had a bad one from here. At 5$ it's a pretty good deal.

-Ham & Cheese Croissant is always solid too whether it's cold or warmed up. Again, never had a bad one from here. I believe it's about 4/4.50$.

-Their filled donuts (Bavarian & Raspberry) are so good too! $1.75 each if I recall correctly.

Service is always great too, I don't know the dudes name (I catch him working mornings), but he's always friendly and efficient at getting your order ready even when he's got a few people in the shop.”

“Such a great place with so many food options. Place has been here forever a d still going strong. Had a few items here that were all good in my opinion. Their chicken salad is pretty big, even for being take out. They got all the fixings in it to get you fullness you get in a meal. Has a club sandwhich as well and that as well very filling. Chose sourdough for my bread option cause why not. Their Bacon Western burger was off the hook. Had great flavor on the sauce and onions rings inside had great texture to it. Was surprised to find that they also out pickles in it, which I don't recall that inside bbq burger, but it was not bad att all to have in it. The amount fries they give enough to share with someone and they are the skinny / thick style. Location is right off major crossing of Whittier Blvd/Garfield Ave across from Starbucks, can't miss them.”

“Family Donuts is one of those classic neighborhood spots that still feels genuine. Fresh donuts, good coffee, friendly service, and that old-school East LA vibe that’s getting harder to find these days. You can tell this is the kind of place locals actually come back to regularly, not just another trendy photo-op shop charging $8 for a donut with cereal glued on top. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area.

“I've eaten many chili relleno burritos from here since they first opened, both with asada and carnitas. I prefer their chili relleno with asada.

The tortillas are excellent. Their salsas are okay. The burritos can be a bit greasy, esply with carnitas. But they're always delicious anyway. (4.5)”
