“We came here on a whim looking for some good mariscos when we were traveling through LA from San Diego for my friends birthday. I can't rave enough about the food! The seafood was sooooo fresh and delicious! The presentation of the food as well. It was like a piece of art. We got to meet the owner's (family owned). They were so sweet and very attentive to your experience at the restaurant. I don't usually take photos of my food but please check out the photos so you can see the love that went into making each dish. We highly recommend this place if you are a foodie looking for some delicious mariscos!”

“Been meaning to hit this place, but always pass them up. Glad I stopped by, they got some good eats here. Tried the Vamipro with bistec and potato. Nice and crispy hand made tortilla. Potatos were healthy cut pieces and soft. Also had the Guisado sampler and man they are not shy with the servings. I definitely recommend the sampler plate if you are wanting to try the different options of guisados. For this location early is better as they do sell out of items on the early side. They also have restaurant where you can get there goods as well.”

“The fried pickles were really good! We loved them! All of our meals were really good. The chicken was tasty. The BLT had a good amount of crispy bacon crisp lettuce. The garlic aioli was yummy. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely return.”

“Since before COVID, we discovered this place, after all these years, the food remains top quality and delicious. The atmosphere and scenery has improved and many people, us included are willing to drive a long way just to eat here! Today, we bought the pineapple juice, was not disappointed. Very good! This place is very close to the highway, parking nearby is very convenient. $1.50 price, never changed. We are willing to drive 10 miles just to dine here.”

“Chili & Lemon Thai Cuisine is the BEST Thai in the area. I have ordered from them multiple times and just recently found out they have their own delivery driver (ONLY A $3 DELIVERY FEE!!) and party trays. Party trays are great as they really take down the price per person and it makes it more fun anyway! We got the 10-12 party tray and it easily fed 11 people + left overs. As this was for a birthday and I told the restaurant they very kindly threw in a sticky rice with mango which was delicious. The food (Pad See Ew) and crab wontons were all GREAT! Everyone was pleased with their meal. Not only that but they delivered promptly (15 minutes EARLY!) I would say they are a great options for a dinner party or for individual meals. Their staff who helped me Sun and one other lady, were extremely helpful and answered all of my questions, and I had a lot of them! I wish I had taken photos, sadly I did not.”

“Very lovely food stand by a kind family! Crepes are freshly made and you can customized however you like. They have a great selection of syrups and toppings, and you can add banana and/or strawberry for fruits. And you can layer some ingredients inside and on top of the crepes. Definitely would come back to try the mini pancakes!”

“I've been coming here for a while for a few specific things:

-Vietnamese Iced Coffee, it's consistently good. Never had a bad one from here. At 5$ it's a pretty good deal.

-Ham & Cheese Croissant is always solid too whether it's cold or warmed up. Again, never had a bad one from here. I believe it's about 4/4.50$.

-Their filled donuts (Bavarian & Raspberry) are so good too! $1.75 each if I recall correctly.

Service is always great too, I don't know the dudes name (I catch him working mornings), but he's always friendly and efficient at getting your order ready even when he's got a few people in the shop.”

“Family Donuts is one of those classic neighborhood spots that still feels genuine. Fresh donuts, good coffee, friendly service, and that old-school East LA vibe that’s getting harder to find these days. You can tell this is the kind of place locals actually come back to regularly, not just another trendy photo-op shop charging $8 for a donut with cereal glued on top. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area.

The tortillas are excellent. Their salsas are okay. The burritos can be a bit greasy, esply with carnitas. But they're always delicious anyway. (4.5)”
