“Been meaning to hit this place, but always pass them up. Glad I stopped by, they got some good eats here. Tried the Vamipro with bistec and potato. Nice and crispy hand made tortilla. Potatos were healthy cut pieces and soft. Also had the Guisado sampler and man they are not shy with the servings. I definitely recommend the sampler plate if you are wanting to try the different options of guisados. For this location early is better as they do sell out of items on the early side. They also have restaurant where you can get there goods as well.“

“Some of the best tacos and special treats in east LA. There asada nachos and burritos smack. The salsa here the one of the reasons why this place is amazing it’s nice and spicy as it’s suppose to be. Anyone looking to get some good food for a great price come here and try Jason’s tacos they won’t disappoint. “Since before COVID, we discovered this place, after all these years, the food remains top quality and delicious. The atmosphere and scenery has improved and many people, us included are willing to drive a long way just to eat here! Today, we bought the pineapple juice, was not disappointed. Very good! This place is very close to the highway, parking nearby is very convenient. $1.50 price, never changed. We are willing to drive 10 miles just to dine here.“

“Been coming here for years, best crispy beef taco in town but a La carte was 6$ in January and after 2 price increases in 7 months, it’s now $8 for a single taco. Chicken fajitas went from $18 to $25. Won’t be eating here anymore but I like the food. Great mex pizza but again prices are out of line now. A pitcher of Coors light in January was under $10 including tax and now it’s $15. Many regulars are now going to other places like Don Jose’s because the prices are about 30% cheaper. Great shredded beef tacos though.“

“Try the Al Pastor Tacos! They are amazing and on top of that they have some bomb as Horchata. This place is my "to go to" late at night when no one can decide what to eat. Everyone is always on board with Los Pepes.“

“I partook of their mango habanero and ghost pepper wings when they were set up in front of the bruery tasting room and was very impressed. They have tasty well seasoned party wings and when they say spicy they're not lying. Try the corn! They are making magic with simple ingredients.“

“Upon entering the restaurant, a sign great you, advising to wait to be seated. Wife and I waited. After waiting for 30 seconds we were going to leave but someone poked their head out, greeted us, and let us choose our seats.
The waiter gave us menus and we searched items on Google. Wife asked for an birria vampiro (tostada with melted cheese, meat, with cilantro and onion). I asked for a birria burrito (whole and smashed pinto beans, cheese, rice, beans, and meat).
I noticed they a trompo, a spinning top of meat. I mistook it for al pastor but in fact it was Adobada. Wife and I asked for a pair of Adobada tacos. To drink wife had an horchata and I had a jamaica (bottled, not from a fountain).
Overall, we enjoyed the food. The restaurant does look clean. The birria could have been juicier. The adobada did have a chorizo taste.

“Coming from the Bay Area. This spot was delicious! Great costumer service from all the señoras! Price for what you get is definitely worth it! We ordered 2 tacos, 2 quesadillas, side of rice and beans, Gordita and 2 agua frescas for less than $50. Authentic Mexican food shouldn’t be cost effective. Great taste and atmosphere. Would come back again!“
