My husband loved their pineapple coleslaw. The bbq sauce has a tad bit of kick (love it), but sweet. Definitely recommend for any true BBQ enthusiast to come and try this family owned business. “I've been wanting to try different omakase places in the LA area for a while now, and stumbled upon Omakase by Ozen online - and I'm glad I came! Reservations were made quickly and easily via Yelp, and I love that I was able to change my reservation time without much of a hassle. My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate after I took the MCAT, so we were extremely hungry when we got here. I think this place might have had valet out front, but we opted to just find street parking in the neighborhood for a ~5 minute walk (which worked out afterwards since it let us walk off our food!). The actual restaurant is a very small and quaint place; we sat at a table instead of the bar but I thought the decorations were very cute. Service was very fast and attentive. They handed us a menu as soon as we came in, and we ordered the $130 omakase - which was a pretty good deal for the quality of the food and the whole experience. I do have to say that I was not full after the meal (so my boyfriend and I ended up getting more food afterwards at a different place), but I did enjoy my time here. Definitely worth a try if you're celebrating because of the food and the service, but I personally don't think I'd come back for the omakase.“

I don’t remember her name otherwise I would stated here, but she was working on a Tuesday morning and she was also doing the bar. The food was delicious and her hospitality was very welcoming. I think it made the experience even better. Since it was our first time there she offered To give us garlic bread on the house, that was really nice of her. “This place was awesome. First of all, Lena our waitress was so kind and willing to explain the menu to us as this was our first time. The food was delicious, I recommend getting a combo so you can try many different things. Not only was the food good but the experience was amazing as well. Lena cooked the meats on front of us (she cooked them perfectly) and you could add seasonings and sauces. Additionally, the sides are brought by ROBOTS. The hilight for the dinner was the cold noodles. It was light, refreshing and the noodles were so chewy and delicious. It's best to eat this as soon as it arrives otherwise the texture of the noodles change as it sits in the broth. The soup was average. Parking in the small lot is Valet.“

“Wow! The best marinated pork ribs! Come on down to Jin Ju. It isn't an all you can eat spot, but you can't beat the quality. My friend and I decided to try the prime beef and the marinated pork ribs (which is their speciality). Both meats were very delicious. They pretty much cook your food for you. The beef was cut into nice cubes. They were cooked at a perfect medium rare. The prok ribs were also cut into pieces, as well. There was a good selection of 10 types of banchan: fishcake (eomuk bokkeum), sesame broccoli, kimchi, potato salad, cucumber kimchi (sigeumchi-namul), stir-fried glass noodles (japchae), korean spinach, pickled onions, bean sprouts (kongnamul), pancake (yachaejeon), and radish kimchi (kkakdugi) . And honestly, this spot has one of the better quality banchan sides. The japchae had so much flavor, and the potato salad was also good. I appreciated that they offered the pickled onions, which goes really well with the marinated pork. My friend was also excited that they had korean spinach, which most places don't have at all. We also ordered the red pepper paste soup. It was so good! Rick and full of flavor. There's enough seating for 2-6 people to each table. It's not too big of a spot, so if you're trying to get away from the long lined spots - this is the spot to be. Service is quick and friendly. There is free parking in the lot if you're lucky. If not, you can find free street parking.“

“Compared to a few years back this street food spot has gained a few more food stalls to neighbor it. There is now a bbq meet place, a salad and fresh foods place and a dessert one. I got three plates, one pad Thai, one pork fried rice and one of their new ground pork with egg dish. Pad Thai is good as always, fried rice was lacking flavor as before but they have seasoning for you to use. Their ground pork with egg was so good but holy crap it was spicy. It did have a good spice though I recommend it.“
