“Tasty food, generous servings, below average prices. My wife and I had the roast duck noodle soup. Tasty duck, lots of nice noodles, I think it was Chinese broccoli cooked tender. Broth was okay. Lots of takeout traffic. Not where I would take a first date, run down. Service was okay. Decent parking in the lot. I'd go again for the food. Takeout is ideal. Lots of other menu choices to try. Discovered this through Vic and Jeff's food blog on YouTube.“

“I was running errands and saw this place which peeked my interest. The restaurant is clean, with decent foot traffic, mainly for takeout
I dined in, opting for the 2 delicacy on rice for $14 (choose any meat). I got the soy sauce chicken and bbq pork. I’d say they’re both on the sweeter side than what I’ve been used to. Had to ask for extra soy sauce. The rice itself tasted old - kinda on the dry side. service was fast and friendly.
I’d give this place a 3.5, since I’ve had much better BBQ elsewhere“

“A barbecue restaurant worth recommending. It’s very delicious. The taste is superb. The oysters are big and cheap. The grilled fresh milk is also superb. There are also authentic grilled cold noodles and lamb skewers. It’s really worth a try.“

“Highly commendable service and absolutely stunning set menu! we went here for dinner last night for our Halloween date night! Their wagyu cuts are 100% top-grade and not just random "wagyu" that are below the marks. We tried their A5 and M9 meats, not to mention their salmon carpaccio that is to die for. Their sides are absolutely delicious and smart, one great example is their fried pork buns that is like a spin on soup dumplings. To top it off, you get premium ice cream in the end. Their salad is so good with yuzu and smokey salt, plus you get a chili mix too. They serve the meats fast plus your tablet menu is in front of you so you don't have to keep calling the staff to refill. I give them 9 stars! 🌟 🐄 🥩“

“I recently tried Chubby Skewers and overall had a pretty good experience. They have a great selection of meats, and at $1.20 per skewer, it’s easy to try a variety without spending too much.

That said, some of the meats were a bit on the tougher side, which took away from the experience a little. But not everything was a miss, the grilled oysters and scallops were definitely highlights and tasted really good.

I also liked that you can order from the menu if you want something more than skewers. Overall, it’s a solid spot if you’re looking for variety at a reasonable price, with a few standout items worth coming back for.“

“Absolutely amazing BBQ!!! Nothing was regular or ordinary. The brisket was so tender and tasty and the Blue Masa Cornbread was to die for! Melts in your mouth! And don’t forget the Cole Slaw which deserves capital letters!! The Mac and Cheese (not like any you’ve ever had!) was comped by our new friend who was our ordering coach and it stole the show!! This place is new and Jensen is a class act and his food is BBQ but kicked up a notch !! Congrats Jensen!!!“

The restaurant is clean and decorated to have a good time! The service was very friendly and helpful!

They offer both KBBQ and seafood boil. We had both and enjoyed each bite.

They also have a bar area offering sides for your KBBQ and so many roll choices.

We had the premium menu and took advantage of their amazing offer of a free boil (deal ends soon, check restaurant). The premium menu had plenty of choice meats offered including seafood choices such as shrimp and octopus.

The servers there were quick to change out the grill for us and make sure we had everything we needed.

The boil itself was generous and tasty. We had the house special flavor, which I recommend! In their boil they offer one crab or lobster pp. we had one of each and wow! Felt special!

“Came by because I was craving for Hong Kong style cafe food. This is a hidden gem in the area. There is a small parking lot available. This is a small cafe, and it is very clean. Service was fast. We ordered half roast duck, beef chow fun, Hong Kong style “yin yeung,” and iced orange tea. Food was amazing. The beef chow fun was a little bland, but it became flavorful after we added a bit of soy sauce. Price was reasonable. Will come by and try other dishes next time.“

“Came by with my son last minute they were almost sold out (says a lot about how amazing there food is) so we grabbed what they had left bbq beef ribs mac and cheese and smoked beans….you guys the food was beyond AMAZING i love bbq but this particular spot 10/10 my son is a picky eater i got him his own plate he devoured the ribs and mac and cheese. I highly highly recommend do not listen to the few who gave negative reviews because you will definitely miss out. The service was amazing very nice and patient with us. Too bad i cant post a video because the portions are HUGE !“

“I dropped by to try the skewers. I ordered a pitcher of beer to go with them. I got the beef vessel, tendon and intestine as well as the lamb, pork belly and chicken gizzard. It was fun watching them rotate on the grill automatically. They have some games you can play to win prizes.

The service was good. I think there was mainly one person handling the tables and he was very efficient.

There's no parking lot. I had no issues finding free parking in the neighborhood.“

“I've been craving skewers and this place hit the spot!! We got their early around 6pm and there was no wait. Got seated right away.

We ordered the beef, lamb, and chicken skewers along w some buns, golden soup and topped it off with dessert durian pizza.
I couldnt give it a 5 stars for the food because I felt like the lamb skewers could have been better. There was a lot of fat and being that the skewers are very small, each bite should be meat of lamb not fat. But overall the food was good and it tempt my craving.

The price overall was high. I managed to rack the bill over $150 n that's just with 3 of us. So be prepared. 😄“

We arrived and we're instructed to check in to put our name on the list. Our wait time was about 15 minutes in a busy graduation day in the area.

We ordered promptly and the robot brought out items quickly. The banchan area is self service. They have other items available in that area. There is a beer on draft and nice selection of soju.

We went with the brisket, spicy bulgogi and spicy pork belly.

Service was timely and there when we needed it. Pricing is on PAR for AYCE locations.“

The golden soup grilled fish was definitely the highlight，the fish was fresh, tender, and full of flavor, with a rich and slightly tangy broth that got even better as it simmered. We also tried the BBQ skewers, especially the beef tongue and chicken wings, which were cooked perfectly with a nice smoky flavor. Great place for hanging out with friends. Went for the hot pot & BBQ buffet combo. You can pick one broth or go with a double/triple split. Lots of options on the buffet line.

A few standouts:
- Argentine red shrimp – plump, firm, with a nice snap
- Frog legs – surprisingly huge
- Oysters – fat and briny
- Grilled eggplant – soft and fully soaked in garlic sauce; every bite was pure flavor
- Grilled shrimp and grilled chicken skin– also really good

The sauce station was clean, and sodas are self-serve. They're open until 1 or 2 AM – perfect for late-night cravings.“

It was delicious!The lamb and beef was cooked to exact request and was also delicious!While we have dined at many Chinese restaurants throughout the United States, as we travel extensively and dine out regularly this surf past any, and all other restaurants, we’ve dined in for this type of food. Here’s the difference this was not Chinese food that has been Americanized in most Chinese restaurants. This was true Chinese prepared food.I truly believe you would have to travel to China to get this quality of food and culture.I will also say that we spent 3/4 of our time speaking to Cindy, whose father owns the restaurant which caters to home cooked events at homes, so this is not their primary source of how they deliver the product to the public. The hour and 15 minutes we spent there was made so much more enjoyable as Cindy walked us through the culture the food and Wyatt tasted different because it was truly cooked to Chinese standard. So I have to say, was it the food that was the greatest experience, or Cindy‘s presence and her willingness to have an open conversation about why they do it the way they do, and enlightened us about the culture of the food,I strongly recommend anyone that wants to find out what real Chinese cuisine is and how it is cooked and prepared in China. You realize very quick that this is not your drive-through, Chinese pick up takeout, that we are accustomed to here in the United States. This is a must try for the food if nothing else and when you’re there I recommend you ask for Cindy.After visiting with Cindy, she made it a total experience for an awesome evening of culture that was absolutely excellent.It is always nice to be able to understand and realize the actual culture of cuisine you are eating. Cindy, she made an experience of great food, a completely enjoyable experience. That was absolutely excellent off the charts. Cindy made it a 2 for 1 bonus to the evening.We will absolutely be driving from Palm Springs back to the restaurant. It was absolutely enjoyable.
