“I drove all the way from Glendale for the nostalgia of BBQ Duck and they did NOT disappoint! I actually drove down for a different restaurant but they had already closed. Majority of restaurants say they close at 9 when they actually close at 8. Thankfully Sam's answered the phone and was willing to prep the food for me minutes before closing. I will definitely be back! 19$ for half a duck 35$ for full (inflation is crazy because when I was a kid, my grandma would get a whole duck for 18$). So grateful for them to make the trip worth it!“
“3.75 star overall. 2nd take-out visit two days in a row. Surprised at the portion and good taste given the overall 3 star review. My family was pretty satisfied with the taste and would return. Tastes authentic and do-able. 4.5 star food. On Both take out orders, the skewers felt a little cooler than I was expecting to be fresh off the grill. But the taste is good and portion is much larger than Little Skewers, so this alone makes it feel more worth it to return. 3 star service. Service was average typical China-Chinese, non-American style. Waited quite a long time to order take out as they seems to be busy & short staffed Friday night around 10 pm. Ordered again next evening on Saturday around 5:30 pm and barely any customers at that time so the order was fast. 3 star other. Friday night, the restaurant dining area and the whole plaza, in general, smells like cigarettes. So many smokers seem to hang out in that plaza at that time. Not a pleasant smell walking around. The restaurant also habitually leaves cardboard containers and boxes out on the walkway (right outside the restaurant kitchen door) which makes the restaurant look very China-ghetto. I wish they didn't do that. Is that even legal to be leaving trash out on the walkway like that? So the standard of cleanliness and organization brings down the restaurant a notch. Overall, I would return from time to time if I happen to feel like it.“
“The Ribeye cap M9 here is so beautifully marbled but I think I loooved the Prime short rib even more. It was flavored so perfectly and literally melts in your mouth.And have you ever had grilled eel at Japanese BBQ before?? “It was our first time there the waitress that helped us was very friendly and nice. I don’t remember her name otherwise I would stated here, but she was working on a Tuesday morning and she was also doing the bar. The food was delicious and her hospitality was very welcoming. I think it made the experience even better. Since it was our first time there she offered To give us garlic bread on the house, that was really nice of her. I’m definitely gonna come back and I will be referring friends and family. By the way, I had the short rib and the brisket with mac & cheese. The brisket was very good, but oh my God the short rib was amazing next time I’ll definitely be getting that again and I might just try the load of baked potato too“

“We tried the diamond set. The meat quality of the 1st round was really good. But the quality of a5 wagyu was not as good after the 1st round. First thing I noticed was this place packs the food to the brim. The lid was barely hanging onto the bowl. There was plenty of well seasoned chicken cooked teriyaki style and generous amounts of veggies. The portion was way bigger than what I was expecting. The rice underneath was soft and fluffy too. With that being said, the customer service upon entering the restaurant was sketchy at first but it got better as I stayed to order my food. I had to drive here to order because the phone never got answered nor did the online service work. I got the chicken sandwich, 1/2 chicken, fries, mac & cheese, and Cole slaw. The sandwich was good, the chicken was okay and the sides were decent. You can dine in if you want but at the time I went, they were really busy so the wait from what I seen was about 15 to 20 minutes. I don’t think they take reservations. I would say to go and visit the place for yourself. It is worth the drive if you’re in the area. I would not say drive from LA to come here when there are other spots along the way.“
“I have always been a huge fan of Mongolian BBQ. The Golden Palace did not disappoint. The food was excellent, the service was superb, and the prices were outstanding. A very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The only thing I would suggest is that if you are an amateur or new at this, to ask the employees for their recipe of each ingredients to fit your taste, whether it be spicy, sweet, or whatever you fancy. I'm a Mac n Cheese girly so of course I ordered the Pit Mac with Beef Brisket on top. The meat was cooked perfectly and was smothered with a smoky BBQ sauce. My favorite part was the Mac n cheese tho! They use actual cheese and top it off with bread crumbs so there's a nice crunchy layer on top. I ordered a side of fries and was surprised by how good they actually are. They're crispy and taste like a less greasy version of McDonald's fries! The brewery gets extremely packed during the weekends but the workers are always very efficient and prompt. They get your food out within 15 minutes. The ambiance itself is really nice since it's inside the brewery. There's lots of seating, games, and even an outdoor patio with live music. Definitely will be back!“

So, instead, we decided to go Sosom Ramen Bar & Bossam. Luckily, when we got here, it was nice and empty. We got seated right away, and the order was taken really quickly. This was our second time coming to this place. The first time we came, I dont remember much, but we decided to come back anyway. This round was much rememberable. The waiter was on top of everything, making sure we had refills on our water and gave us extra sides. He checked up on us multiple times to see if we needed anything else. Honestly, the food was just perfect. Like 10 min into our dinner, the restaurant started to fill up. The vibe with the customer everyone enjoyed their food. If you want to try Bossam, this is going to place. I don't think they will let you down. Meat is super tender, and the sauce is yummy. Just writing this makes my mouth water.“

The service was good in the morning. One of the server saw that our pork belly had too much fat and she was kind enough to remove it and offer another set. For the price and the food selection, I think this is worth it to eat if you wanna save and want decent variety. I wouldn't necessary go out of the way for it but if you're nearby, why not! “Even if the interior needs a lot of work, the food doesn't. The roast pork is divine! So crispy on the outside and juicy and tasty on the inside. Dip it into the hoisen sauce, and it's perfect. I couldn't try the char sui because they ran out the day I went (late). I will try it next time with the roast duck. It's $21.99/lb for the roast pig. It's well worth it. I also got the eggplant shezwan style, dry string beans, salt & pepper rock cod fish fleet, and clams with black bean sauce. All of it was superb, not too salty, as a lot of Chinese food can be. This is my new go-to Chinese BBQ place from now on!“
