Hao Cafe Reviews
All dishes, milk tea and especially the roasted duck is the best in town!
This establishment offers an authentic Chinese culinary experience, deeply rooted in its cultural heritage. The staff consistently demonstrates a high level of professionalism and hospitality, and the restaurant maintains impeccable cleanliness, fostering a positive and inviting atmosphere.
Awa is super consistently nice to my mom and I, the food is delicious super affordable and very clean. My mom is a patient nearby at City of Hope and I always trust them to feed her soul and nourish her time at the hospital. Any person taking care of an immune compromise is scared of takeout, but I will highly recommend this place!
Stereotypically sometimes the service can be curt, but will not complain on that front considering how great the food is for the price!

Hao Cafe Duarte is a small family-owned restaurant that offers authentic Hong Kong-style dishes and is a great spot for daily meals. Located in a plaza with its own parking lot, the cafe can seat about 30-40 people. It can get busy during dinner time, but fast service and friendly staff make dining pleasant. The menu features a variety of delicious dishes like Rice roll in house sauce, Fillet Fish in Creamy Corn Sauce, Soy Sauce Chicken, Salt & Pepper Porkchop, and Eggplant. Customers enjoy the tasty food and often praise dishes like beef chow fun and Hong Kong style minced beef rice with sunny side up. The stir-fried beef udon is cooked perfectly, and portions are large, offering good value. Recent visitors mentioned that the roasted duck and BBQ pork are savory, though some dishes like 雪菜鴨絲炆米 are not recommended. The cafe also has a good selection of drinks, including HK style lemon tea with refills. Overall, Hao Cafe Duarte stands out for its tasty food, friendly service, and commitment to providing a satisfying dining experience. Soon, the cafe plans to introduce BBQ dishes, making it an even more appealing choice for local diners.
