“The food here is excellent. Staff is very friendly and kind. Felt a little rushed towards the end of the dinner. Probably because they are only opened for a few hours. Overall, I can't get over how delish this food is. Definitely a new favorite. I recommend the Foccacia Bread Board for an appetizer. The bread paired with honey, pears and mozzarella was divine. The Manicotti was so good and the chocolate cake with a glass of moscato was the perfect way to end the meal. 5 stars!”

“El Canton De La Patrona took over the old Fish Grill location and is in the same plaza as El Pollo Loco. My husband and I decided to try this local restaurant. We made an order over the phone for pick up. We ordered: La Patrona Ceviche, $16.95 prior to tax- The ceviche was fresh and refreshing. This order also came with 3 tostadas. The ceviche is made with shrimp, cucumbers, avocados, red onions and tomatoes. I wished I had a few more tostadas. Burrito, $15.95 prior to tax- My husband got the asada burrito, which was packed with rice, beans and lettuce. Cheese and guacamole are also in the burrito. A side of chips are served along side the burrito. This entree was very filling, which my husband ate over 2 meals. 3 item combo, Trio Perfecto, $16.95 prior to tax- For this meal combo, I picked sopes, tamale and soft taco. This meal was also served with a side of rice and beans. My mom enjoyed the tamale and soft taco. We both also enjoyed the rice and beans and I liked the sopes. The 3 item combo is a good portion for one, although a fair amount for 2 to share (for a small dinner). ----------------------------- (Total= $54.96 after tax) Please note that there is a small discount if paying with cash. Service was friendly at pick up. Also it was nice that our food was ready at the time promised when we came to pick it up. My family and I enjoyed El Canton De La Patrona and will most likely order from them again.”

“Hidden away in a small shopping center J & A's is very easy to miss, being next to a water fill station and some sort of wooden sculpture store is never open. This cozy little place has a great atmosphere and the staff is very kind. Your coffee cup rarely goes empty. The food is very good and they have a variety of options to choose from. Great place for seniors to take advantage of the specials. Generally you will pay between $15-20 dollars per person but it is worth it. This place is a CASH ONLY location so be sure to bring it.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking lot is right at the entrance and plenty of tables with chairs.”

“The workers are all so kind! Especially the woman with the bob. She was very beautiful on the inside and out. You can tell she wanted you to just have a good time eating there. My friends and I came and she was so sweet to all of us. Thank you for being sweet to us and letting us have a good time. :)”

“My baby turned 1 year old and he absolutely adores pizza, so it was the perfect opportunity to celebrate this special milestone at a place that offers his favorite food. Not only do they serve a variety of delicious pizzas, but they also have salads, wings, and more on their menu. I personally went with the vegetable calzone and it was huge! I definitely had leftovers.The kids all loved their cheese pizza and kept going back for more. They have some indoor dining tables as well as do delivery. Huge parking lot which is shared with other businesses.”

“I was craving something similar to yoshinoya while in the area and came across this place. I ordered a chicken bowl which arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. First thing I noticed was this place packs the food to the brim. The lid was barely hanging onto the bowl. There was plenty of well seasoned chicken cooked teriyaki style and generous amounts of veggies. The portion was way bigger than what I was expecting. The rice underneath was soft and fluffy too. Overall, this place served a very delicious chicken bowl. For the cost and quantity+quality of the food, it was definitely worth it. I'll be coming back to try other items on the menu.”

“The flavor and choices are always amazing. The wife prefers the assam black milk tea with boba, while my sugar loving heart prefers the tiger sugar milk with boba. But more than that we love the long hours and friendly staff!”

“I was invited to a lunch with my senior ladies, who make hand made items for hospice patients.I was pleased with our waiter Erick, who single handedly took care of over 30 ladies orders. He was very attentive to our orders & refilled our drinks & bread without asking.I had their meat sauce w pasta, it was almost as good as my own!I plan on coming back with my mother & stepdad soon.”

“For Years literal YEARS I’ll go clubbing with my friends and we’ll drive all the way from Pomona to this Dennys here in Duarte because the ones in Azusa and any other one on the way has either had bad food or poor service or anything else and this one specifically always over delivers at this specific location at late nights no matter what day of the week , day in day out , week after week , month after month. Extra thank you to Claudia our waitress for always here to serve with a smile , respect and patience for everyone including staff and patrons.”

“Went back this week and glad I did. Ordered a bento box, lots of tasty food and definitely worth the money. There was enough teriyaki for two meals. I'm accustomed to a different cut of meat for beef teriyaki so was surprised but enjoyed the flavor. LOVED the super crunchy not greasy tempura! I ordered to go so didn't each for about 15 mins. Tempura was crunchy to the last bite of the last piece! Also had the spicy salmon sushi, which I found quite good. I'll definitely go back and try other menu items. Staff was welcoming and kind. The sushi chef greeted each person as they arrived and thanked each when they left. Great service!”

“I feel like this place doesn't get enough love. We love coming here for their noodle dishes and for their soup and curries! Some of our favorites include the Khao-Soi, Panang Curry, Pad Thai, and PET (Pumpkin, Eggplant, Tofu). The service is always great and our stomachs always leave happy!! We've been here on a Friday night and they usually have tables. This place is definitely comparable to some places in Thai Town! If you live in the area, I would definitely recommend trying this place.”
