He surprised me and my husband ( we are elderly) with 2 extra burritos ( for free!) I could barely lift the bag! The burritos at thela paloma are stuffed to maximum capacity😋 they are big!! We have never actually been able to finish one at one sitting. I have never seen such output food production come out of a restaurante pequeno..little restaurant. “I love a good old fashion donut. I have tried many donut places. If you want light, chewy dough with glazed top and flakes all over your lips. Each bite crave some more. I recommend this donut shop to you! Their donut holes are amazing and delicious as well. I love how kind and effective they are as they help welcoming customers each day. I haven’t been in a while but the atmosphere was very welcoming. I felt safe. Love the shop smell from the last time I have visited. Highly recommend!“

“It's a nice cozy shop. When I come up to Duarte to work I usually buy a bacon or ham croissant sandwich there. They're $6 each but they taste great so it's worth it. It's not light. it's not heavy. It's a good breakfast meal.“

“We are so lucky to have this cafe here in Pasadena! I've tried the carbonara, puttanesca, sandwiches, foccacia, and fried zucchini blossom, and it's all been delicious. Their homemade bread is incredible and is the star of their amazing sandwiches. For fellow lovers of bittersweet Italian sodas, they stock chinotto here, as well a couple small bitter sodas! On top of how good the food is, the service is very warm and friendly. You can tell it's a family business run with a lot of love. Can't recommend it highly enough, and I'm looking forward to going back and trying even more of the menu.“
