“I recently tried Koki Ku Sushi, a newer Japanese restaurant in Duarte, and came away pleasantly surprised.

I stopped by for their lunch special and found the service attentive and welcoming throughout the meal. The 5-piece chef's choice premium nigiri was fresh and enjoyable, with each piece offering a nice variety of flavors.

I also ordered the Salmon Teriyaki with Spicy Tuna Roll combo. The teriyaki salmon was flavorful, although the slices were a bit thinner compared to what I've had at other sushi spots. The spicy tuna roll was generously portioned and filling enough to make for a satisfying lunch.

The restaurant itself has a clean, modern design and is conveniently located in the Target plaza, where parking is plentiful and easy. Overall, Koki Ku Sushi is a nice addition to the Duarte dining scene, and I'll be back to try more items from their menu.“

“Everything I had here was absolutely fantastic. The presentation is beautiful, especially the way they serve items on unique, flower-shaped plates.

The quality of the fish is clearly top-notch. I was blown away by the freshness of the uni and the rich, delicate flavors in every bite. It is rare to find a spot that pays this much attention to both the taste and the plating.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the creative touch of seeing their logo on the sake cups. This place is a gem and I cannot wait to come back for another meal.“

Love Los Albertos! The food is always fresh and delicious, and the prices are super reasonable. The staff is friendly and welcoming every time. My favorites are the crunchy tacos, nachos, and the pepino limón agua fresca — so, so good!“

“I went to get some food expecting to get a burger. I got to the light in front of liquor store before you can even see the burger joint man you can smell that bomb patties being cooked so strong. But I went inside asked if they had chilquiles and since they did I had to get them. They were extremely good & honeslty I complain about food all the time. Its always something these were perfect even the sunny side eggs were perfect. Pretty large plate ate this morning its 5:11PM & I dont even want to eat. I will try the burgers tomorrow morning. %100 worth stopping by and giving it a chance.“

“Great rice and beans! Not spicy. Inside there are many tables for sitting and enjoying a relaxing meal. There were several customers during lunch, but not crowded. I was using the laundromat next door and the lady at the entrance was very accommodating. It looked clean and inviting.“

“It's hard to fiend a place in my area eating at a Sonic, so it has a special place when we find one. When I was a little kid we used to go to one that had phones built into the booths that you used to call in your order to the kitchen, we thought it was the coolest thing!“
